Yeah!!! lot of the ppl have that prob...
U have to use a 3rd party app...

I dont think that this problem is with holo sandwich i guess, have a clean install and try but if still it happens with u, post it on the Holo Sandwich's thread and report the owner of the ROM.

It's a bug which is not yet fix from CM9 to Cm10

Just dont say thanks, press thanks if we helped and u if u like that ROM use "Camera Zoom FX" u will love it and there will be no problem.

Try the hotfix provided in the Rom section. Or as the fellow Explorers suggested Camera FX Zoom rocks!
And yup its a CM 9 and CM 10 bug.

I never knew there was a problem with the camera when taking photos of faces. I guess I never even tried it as it is only a 3mp fixed focus camera, but camera zoom fx gives better quality shots in general and doesn't have the face bug, so $1.50 well spent. Thanks hsn97.

Try ProCapture + Panorama, it makes a great quality picture too and also a great panoramic pictures.
Procapture + panorama does sound very good and it is is on sale at the moment as well, but it doesn't do videos. I think I prefer just having one camera app. Thanks bluerain28

Hi
Hard reset your mobile and open the camera application or try some camera apps like camera zoom FX etc...I had this problem in ICS whenever i try to open camera in Skype this message appears and closed the application after rebooting, the Skype works fine.
Don't forget to hit the thanks button.
dude download camera app from a110 camera section nd reboot in to recovery and install it... it will surely help u.

Try to do this : install this lockscreen( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294139 ) and then when you are in the lock screen drag the camera and when you're in the camera app just select the 3d panorama. It will work.

1st option l.if you're on stock jb or ics try to update your phone using pcc or sony update service or use repair phone option in one of these two.2nd way.You can try go to settings/ aplications /all / and try to find the camera 3d apk and clear the data of it.Hope this help.:fingers-crossed:

No i have no outer mods.
Could it be a problem with the rom?
When i try to record a video in 4k the picture freezes but the buttons still work. If i press "Stop" the phone try to safes a file but it never stop. After some time the app crash and i cant play back the video file because its corrupted but there is a file. If i try to reopen the Camera i get an error that the driver crashed and a need to restart the phone... after the restart the normal camera works again. Timeshift is working perfect.
