The most crappiest things in MTK Device is GPS,It doesn't works properly,Takes too much time for locking
You can't even download EPO (Extended Prediction Orbit) data properly in MTK Device for Crappiest MediaTek server
i found a solution for downloading EPO data Manually.
Your device must need to be rooted,I have MT6589 based device,You can use framaroot for rooting your device
First download FasterGPS ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.fastergps ) from Play store,Open it grant root permission
Then select your continent & region,It will write a gps configuration file based your selection.
Then you need to download MT GPS EPO Fix ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chxdev.mtgps )
Open it root grant permission
Then press download epo files,it will download epo satelite data based for your location which u can't download from settings
Go to your settings enable location services then reboot :silly:
Open Maps or another location App,it should lock in seconds ...

Hello guys since the android 6.0 update is out for this phone and many seemed to have issues upgrading it, i wrote down a guide on how to update it . Firstly there are two ways you can update your phone.
1) Via the wireless update app
2) Manually flashing the firmware
Steps:
1) Find the wireless update app on your phone and press check
2) You will be prompted to download the update file
3) Download.Install.Done.
If for some reason the first method does NOT work you can try this
1) Download the firmware file from here https://mega.nz/#!PQVWDaLZ!2ituEPLWpcAkbz9dR6dNk3E3rnl2z8YNELQ7xcYi7t0
2) Download the flash tool from here https://mega.nz/#!7AcjGCLY!5LtavmoUaz8N_GzRwJqhD9tWwRDapplAKu7TMmON7F4
3) Now open the flash tool by double clicking the SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe file
4) File -> Open Download Agent File and open this file MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin from this folder MDT_V1620_ForUpgrade
5) Click the button Scatter File and select the file MT6735M_Android_scatter which is located in
OUKITEL_K10000_V8.0_20160620 folder
6) Click Scan
7) Long press volume (+) key on your device (phone in power off state) and connect it to your PC. When green bar shows, scan successfully disconnect your phone.
8) Click Stop All and then Start All, when the small window finishes connect again your phone to the PC and the update will start automatically.
9) When the first line goes grey (COM 4 + COM 3) it means its completed.

Bypass Google Account Problem with K10000
Hi
After auto-update my Oukitel K10000 asks for google account I do not have (I have tried every known to me email but nothing happend). I have read all internet, have seen a lot of films - nothing.
1.I cannot enter the developer option (to enable USB) because tapping the build number does not work - ANY sugestions? or step-by-step method
2.I cannot install Quick Shortcut Maker Apk in any mode.
PLEASE help

Custom ROM based on stock Lenovo ROM S18260 150114.
Removed all unuseful apps (baidu, tmall, lenovo themes etc). It's pretty lightweight.

Installation:
First install recovery
Root your phone with KingRoot, it's the easiest method.
Install ADB with drivers
Enable USB Debugging
Check if your phone is recognized
Unzip package and run burnrecovery.bat
After reboot you should see CWM recovery
ROM installation
Take of battery, disconnect USB cable
Put in battery
Press power, vol+, vol- and keep pressing vol+, vol- till you see recovery menu
Connect phone to PC with USB cable
Select install zip
install zip from sideload
Now run this command "adb sideload a788t_foldrom_20160703.zip" in directory containing ROM
It will start loading ROM
Wait till you can see this info "A788t foldrom install Complete!"
Now reboot your phone
This ROM works nice with Xposed

This phone supports only chineese frequencies for 3G/LTE (like any other Lenovo which model ends with 't' )
This will not work in Europe. Only 2G

i don't think it's possible, i thought it's hardware limitation but really don't know
this chip is not popular, there's not much information about
phone is really poor, i had it for one month for fun if you can afford better phone you should buy it

Run the program and check the device screen.
If the new window (message) appear on the phone screen, check "Always allow from this computer" and press OK

Well, i've been uninstalling apps "One by One" and there is a problem with the "Weather" apps, 30 is weather theme instead Weather, and 28 is weather instead Weather Service. The other apps i've checked worked like a charm.
