Google Map / Navigation

Is there anyway to just have google nav running without having to type addresses? It should just follow you around and show you where you are and where you are going etc.
I don't always want to type a destination address.

If u just open the maps app it Should just go to ur location until u ask for a search or something

I believe he's talking about having the Google Navigation screen (like if your using the turn-by-turn directions) up and running without a destination. No, that's not possible

Default map program. Way to change to Google maps instead of locations?

When I click on an address in a contact it pulls up the locations app is there a way to change this to Google maps?
I have a rooted inspire 4G.

[Q] Change default contacts location

By default lg o3d contacts are saved to phone. Can i change that so it always saves at google??

If you go to view and uncheck sim card and phone that should the trick, mine seems to be saving on google after I did that

mines saves to both automatically and syncs with my facebook, twitter, endomondo etc...

Usim and phone contacts in view are disabled. But when i add a contact and forget to set google as contact location,then in order to view it i have to enable phone contacts

Google search widget

For some reason my google search doesn't show the history anymore when I type in something and my old searches don't show up any suggestions?

You either arent logged in to the same google account on your phone or you cleared history by accident.

Well I have two google accounts so how do I log into the right one on the widget

Try full whipe

Login to the main account first, then use the widget and hten sign into the 2nd account.

Location services

In running services there are 3 processes: NetworkLocationService, and 2 other under Google Play Services. One is GoogleLocationManagerService and the other is Google Location Service.
The three use a lot of ram like 25mb. I'd like to know what each does and if I can disable one or two without loosing my location in maps, weather. Thanks

google location service probably has to do with google maps but i am not so sure
i doubt that it is related with weather any of these processes
