MOTOROLA ATRIX 2! i guess i've a problem . by mistake while i was supposed to backup cid , i chose the option erase cid and it s deleted, no backup either. now whenever i reboot, my phone shows some error. since i've bmm i am being able to load into ics in system 1 . is there any possible way to get rid of this error message about cid during startup?? because it is really annoying.
I am afraid there is not a way to get rid of the message. Once the CID is gone there is no way to recover it. Luckily it's only an ugly message and not anything worse.
Remove that bootlogo & boot your device without BP tools you can do this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2406867 .It removes CID err on bootlogo & you can boot normally. But if your bootlogo will be changed error will appear again. So you'll need to flash fix everytime your bootlogo changes...<br/>

I used the easy rooting process from and once i was rooted i used ROM manager to download Liquid Gingersense 1.0 and saw there was no access to radio. So i went to download a new radio and was told to rename PG05IMG.ZIP. I went to put on SD card and saw that from the rooting process there was already a file with that name. I figured it was just the radio files needed for the rooting, so i replaced with the new .ZIP file. I then loaded the bootloader (down, and power) and tried to load the new .ZIP but to no avail it did not work. I don't remember exactly what i did from then to know but to problem........I truly believe my phone is bricked and I cant find anything that describes my problem.............
I cant power down while plugged in. It automatically loads the bootloader giving the four options bootloader, reboot(which still works properly, and loads up the phone without any problems), reboot bootloader, and power down. If I choose bootloader it automatically tries to read if i have anything on the card. Then i have the option of fastboot, recovery, factory reset, simlock, hboot usb, and image crc. If I choose recovery or factory reset it instantly changes to the white HTC screen and reloads the bootloader. Also to make matters worse, I had read that if you do the system update through the phone that it would erase the rooting done to your phone, I downloaded the newest update and tried to install. Now every time I turn the phone on it, on it's own, shuts down my phone to update the software but instead of updating the software it just opens the bootloader.
As of now I'm rooted with s=on
If my battery is low enough it wont try to upgrade with the new software.
I reformatted my SD card and that didn't work either.
I used Titanium Backup to load clockworkmod. When tried to use that, it would still load in the bootloader with the 3 androids on the bottom.
and the top of the bootloader there is white text with pink background that says *** Security Warning ***
So to sum up, I cant recover or factory reset(through my phone settings, or hard boot), I cant access clockworkmod to recover anything, and bootloader doesn't work.
I've only had this phone for a few days, so please help me fix it.
Thanks,
Bryce Morgan

well ive managed to get cwm on it and i can flash roms.. now i have a new problem and i cant figure it out.. doesnt make any sense. After a restore I cannot reboot. it gets stuck on a little spinning wheel then shows an empty battery symbol. but the battery has plenty of charge. and when that happens i cant get back into cwm or get it to boot i have to reflash the rom and cwm kernel.. any help here would be greatly appreciated.. starting to think i wasted my money on this thing.. even with stock rom it wont reboot.. what would cause this? bootloader? thats the only thing i havent tried flashing cuz i dont wanna brick it for good.
Im on TWRP recovery, and in the recovery menu i accidentally wiped internal sd, and now when i flash a new Rom, after it installs an i get through the typical new phone start up process, i get a message that says, Unfortunatley system ui has stopped, and another one that says htc dot view has stopped. And then when i get to my home screen i have no Status bar or navigation bar (soft keys) and my homescreen is just a black background. I can still access my apps but cant go back because there is no soft keys. I went into my settings, to my apps, and when i went to system ui to try clearing the cache its greyed out and saying "computting" forever. What do i do? I have a htc one m8 T mobile US with unlocked bootloader and S-On.
I've already tried factory resetting and flashing a new rom and i keep getting the same results. Please help!

I got the same problem too on my lenovo A316i :crying: pls. help!!
I had the same issue when using TWRP; took all of the steps mentioned below without success. I then flashed stock recovery and wiped - this fixed it
If system ui stoped and your phone running just copy the apk of system ui and replaced it system ui apk use a root explorer or every thing go to device/system/app then find the system ui apk then replaced it or device/data/app lib/and find again the apk and then replace it .......... If your system ui stopped and u cannot used your phone follow this steps go into 'stock' recovery mode and choose wipe data/factory reset that's it
My HTC one M8 sprint all of a sudden, after installing xposed came with this error: "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped. I cannot shut it down and my battery is inbuilt. I cannot even reboot. in fact, i cannot do anything. please help, what is or are the options I have. I am desperately in need of help. Thanks to any God sent in advance.
Hi there, my mother have an XT1033 and some days ago the phone got bricked in a black screen. I don't know what she was doing when it happened, but i know that the phone have its storage almost full, maybe this is the cause.
But the problem is that i tried to do a hard reset, but got an "Boot up fail!" trying to access the Recovery.
So i tried to unlock the bootloader, aparently it was succesfull since i could access the Recovery. But the wipe data/cache option solved nothing and aparently no data was wiped.
I tried to flash a new recovery, got the "OKAY" output but the recovery stills the same. Tried to flash a stock rom and still nothing changed. And actually, for some reason the phone did a successfull boot after all this, and was still with the old system, with the same data as before, and spamming error messages on the screen untill going to the black screen again.
I tried almosst everything, someone have some tips?
And sorry, english is not my first language.
I might as well try here if anyone will see my post.
I'm screwed. Latest stock ROM, unrooted and locked bootloader. I have/had the Google App (beta) installed on my phone but for the past couple of days it was constantly crashing and my phone became sluggish so I decided to uninstall it today. I left the beta program and as provided with instructions there went to uninstall the beta version to install the non-beta one.
It stayed on "uninstalling" for about 10 minutes and I presumed it was just a Google Play glitch and decided to reboot my phone. Big mistake! After the first install it was optimizing apps (but only one, so it was probably the Google App but it never got out of the next step (starting system/app, I don't recall what it said exactly right now)). I decided, stupidly, to reboot the phone since it was stuck and now I'm stuck on a bootloop and the phone won't even go past the Android logo animation. I guess the uninstallation never completed somehow and the app got corrupted(?).
I'm lost and I don't know what my options are except trying a factory reset and/or even unlocking the bootloader and getting a custom recovery and potentially rooting the phone too. But I really don't want to lose my data!! I have no backups.
Is there ANY chance I could somehow manage to solve the problem? Is it possible to sideload an app with a locked bootloader and stock recovery? I'm trying to sideload the Google app back in case it got corrupted but it doesn't work. I get the following errors:
Code:
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
installation aborted
Haaalp!
EDIT: Even weirder. I just let it run the booting sequence again and it got beyond the lollipop logo animation and is now stuck on "Android is starting... Starting apps." message.
