$200 for a sensation is not bad, at least here in Canada. But just one piece of advice for the future: avoid buying used headphones (especially ear bud styles)
In-ears and ear bud styles break easily, and its durability is really dependent on the way the owner uses it.
ie. hooking earbuds around the ears can eventually cause tears in the wire connecting to the sound driver, always roll your wire in a circular manner when storing and not in use. Never let the wire touch your bare skin during winter or they'll break faster than an arthritic man.

any amount of money for Beats - Bad. Could have gotten a somewhat decent set of headphones for that money.

Ok so as the title says, I'm looking to find out what people are receiving for warranty replacements for this phone. I've had it since launch and accidentally shattered the screen recently so I'm looking to replace it somehow. I do have the insurance on it which is of course $200 to make a claim, which blows... My question is this, are the newer units people are getting less problematic, or are they maybe sending people the new One X+ lol (a long shot, I know)....I have never dealed with at&t insurance before as I just defected to them from sprint earlier this year. I just hope to get a little more for my money if I spend $200 through at&t to replace it, vs spending $300 to buy a nexus 4 to use til my upgrade (next December....). Anyone with a valid opinion will be thanked.

Likely a refurbished from at&t or htc... I bought square trade insurance.. Which is nice because they will replace your phone with a refund if they can't fix it. And it is was only 100 dollars but if I break it I do have to spend another 90 dollars, although if I were to get a new 2 year I could probably be spending around 30$ for a new one x or maybe 130 for a one x +..) (termination fee would be down to 280 and the one x + is dropping pretty soon I think and that's better then spending 600 dollars. If you are within 30 days you can buy it.. But anyways I think at&t and htc only send you refurbished phones. You are better off replacing the screen... Or ask if they can replace the screen...

This just sucks because I would have got one lol. I saw this post that day but when I checked they were back to full price. Hopefully htc made money on the m8 phones because I would like to see them stick around and grow to be profitable as I have seen them really step up on the last two models of htc one and I look forward to following models for years to come as long as they keep the key features such as aluminum body and sd card slot plus a minimum of 32 gig internal, those and keep making good software.

Me in Sprint, still waiting to receive my phone and promised to get $100 credit which can be used on any HTC products and additional 25% offer coupon. I'm planning to get $70 HTC studio headsets and $30 flip case after 25% off. Basically getting everything needed for $400
Is their a trick to get the $100 offer? I am waiting for the gold and never got that offer.

Give them a call and ask about the delay. I think they are going to send that offer to everyone who's phone will be shipped in December
