USA Android user TextMe registration - General Questions and Answers

Please I need a USA android user to help me register TextMe. Would really appreciate if someone could do that for me. Thanks in advance

It's not possible for someone to help you with this. The whole point of the verification is to verify that it's your phone and number and that you can use the service.

No that's not the point. The point is,when you register from the US it gives you an option to have a free USA virtual number, whereas when you register from outside the US it doesn't give that option. All I need is someone who could help me register it with their phone so that I would be able to have the US number generated within the app itself. I will provide an email. it doesn't require any verification of number. you can delete the app afterwards

[Q] Banner ads capturing mobile number

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone can help with a question and hope this is in right forum.
Does anyone know how these banner ads get your phone number?
I have had three explanations:
The banner ad and an email from the company say that they contact my service provider and the SP supply the number.
My service provider tell me they absolutely do not give customers numbers to third parties.
Via a phone call to the company they said it requires the user to enter their phone number and click submit. (I know for sure this didn't happen.)
Don't know which to believe now!
Would appreciate anyone who knows more about this if they could let me know.

One Click Root registration problem

I am having puzzling problems with my attempts to register with One Click Root.
I hope this is the best place to ask. I am assuming it is ok, as this is an XDA development project.
The registration asks for my full name and email address only.
Then when I go to login, it asks for an email address and a password. like most (if not all) forums that I have had experience with.
What ever is going on? Can someone please explain and assist me with this?
The contact options for the "One Click Root" site are not operational at the moment.
If I am in the wrong place (or on the wrong forum), please advise and if possible, direct me to the correct place.

Trouble with simcard unlock key
Can someone help me with my unlock code for my fone that was sent to me by my relatives outside PHILIPPINES..I am having trouble using my phone with local network coz its looking for sim PUK unlock key.. Hope someone could help me out here

Its an unlock code for the sim card, not the phone, so if the phone carrier is in the same area as you then possibly you can just call and ask them for the puk code by giving them the phone number or for a new sim perhaps and make sure it works before you leave the store.

are you sure that the device is yours? im not trying to be rude or something but i think you should show a proof that the phone is yours and the phone wouldnt be in that state if the password is typed correctly everytime

[Q]Could someone please verify WeChat for me?

Hi so I signed up for we chat and apparently because I don't live in china I need to have a WeChat user verify me.. but since I don't know anyone that has WeChat I was hoping someone here might have the ability to do so.
