Hello there, I just browsed through the Xperia T forums and found this mod and I've tested this mod on CM9 on my Galaxy W, I want to share this to you. The Mobile Bravia Engine 2, as explained:
Mobile BRAVIA Engine2: An evolution of Mobile BRAVIA Engine delivering an ever better viewing experience by adding a new real-time contrast optimisation and improving sharpness enhancement on top of high quality colour management and noise reduction.

If you want to try, you can download this file first:
braviaengine2.zip
Extract its contents, I've put them on the location folder, example:
The content of etc/ to system/etc/
The content of lib/ to system/lib/
Set their permissions to rw-r--r--. And then, add these lines to build.prop:
Code:
ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1
Save, reboot. Do fix permissions from CWM. Install the contents of app folder like normal apks
Plz make a flash file of it

It's only used to browse photo with high-quality. Only recommended. I don't use it
but i think there isn't too much different with bravia engine or not

Of course you won't see any difference if you don't take any photo of bright object in a dark room. I often test it by taking photo of a yellow flower in my yard, the difference is the color of the flower is brighter if I use bravia.
And I know that SL's camera is slightly better than my W's camera

The download has broken, please give a good link.
anyone has try this one???
old Volume boost by boterkaaseneieren mods is locked and doesn't work on kitkat so i had a look at the new soundfiles and i created new sound boost mod.
Howto ?
1 easy way :
----------------
- download & extract sound mod of your choice to your phone
- Open a filebrowser that supports root
- Go to \system\etc\snd_soc_msm\
- IMPORTANT : copy to a safe place or rename snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 before replacing with the modded file so you can restore if my default settings file don't work for you. If there exist no such file, then this mod is not for your phone
- Set permissions to rw-r-r-
- Reboot.
You now should have louder volume
2 Do it yourself way
-------------------------
i will explain for speaker, all the rest goes the same way
1 Copy snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 from the directory system/etc/snd_soc_msm/ to your pc and open it with notepad++
2 search for 'speaker' (it is somewhere in the middle of the file) and after that look a little lower for 'digital volume' -> it will probably be somewhere around 65% by default
3 Change from (+/-) 65 to 70-75% depending on your wish to have louder or super loud speakers (don't go over 75% as it is very loud and might break your speaker !)
It is the same way for every sound option, search for the digital volume for the option you want to change (these parameters are all somewhere in the middle of the file) and change from 70 up to 75%
4 Once you have saved you must copy these files back to your phone and set permissions to rw-r-r (easy done in root explorer) and reboot to see if it worked.
Don't put at maximum volume with the Super Soundboost if your music is recorded loud allready, you and only you are responsible for your ears and device so use with caution
Let us know if it works on your device also (Kitkat only !)
Credits go to eheinzeiii for showing me what to look for in the soundfiles.
This post was created to make speaker louder
Post 4 has updated files for people who want Everything (except bluetooth) louder
FOR PEOPLE WITH i9506 try this : POST 51
FOR people who can't get louder volume with any off my mods please try this : Post 57

When i flashed the old Volume boost by boterkaaseneieren mods on my kitkat rom it resulted in having no sound while making a call so i had a look at the new soundfiles and i created some new files.
Howto ?
- download & extract sound mod to your phone
- Open a filebrowser that supports root
- Go to \system\etc\snd_soc_msm\
- Rename or (copy to a safe place) snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 and replace with the soundmod of your choice.
- Set permissions to rw-r-r-
- Reboot.
If all goes well you should have louder volume, both in speaker and in earpiece.
Tested on my Samsung Galaxy s4 GT i9505 Probam 1.2 kitkat 4.4.2
Please Test this & let us know if it works on your device so i can update op with more working devices
Credits go to eheinzeiii for showing me what to look for in the soundfile.

works great with speaker and in-call volume on jamal2367's Google Edition RC2 rom. thanks
Using this with omni rom, seems to be doing the trick whereas flashing the old zips crippled Google voice search and sound search.
Thanks!

Changelog :
added sound boost for remaining channels such as VOIP & earphones.
Bluetooth i cannot find how to make louder
Thanks for the update, I've replaced the original file aswell as updating the nightly on omni rom. Works fine for me, but I've only been able to test it on music through the speaker and a phone call through the earpiece and also speaker.
All seems to be working and nice and loud. Btw I'm using the medium loudness file, loud enough for me.

Can you or someone else test it and share toughts because i have no i9500.
If you make sure that you rename the original file to .bak in the end before replacing it with the new file there will be no problem to rename it again and revert to your original files if something goes wrong and you get no more sound. Other then that make sure you follow the other guidelines also about setting permissions and reboot after every replacement

Any chance of seeing the zip soon? I'm on the CM nightlies and it would be sooo convenient rather than doing it manually every day...
Cheers
Seems to be working fine on the new TW 4.4.2 leak. I'm running it on Omega v20.

This post is a share all credit goes to orignal dev and can be found in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
using this mod on stock is bit lengthy follow the steps and you will have awesome beats.
prerequisite
--of course a rooted device and nandroid backup
instructions
1) download the attached zip file
2) open root exploer browse through system> app and delete musicfx.apk and musicfx.odex
3) reboot to cwm and wipe cache partition and flash the zip file. You are done
Only thing that can happen is sound stops working and that too only when you dont delete the files in step2.
If something goes wrong it is considered that you have backup and therefore I am not responsible for any kind of damage to your device.
--if there is any problem tell me!

Hello guys, do you want to take your android device to a higher level? Go grab this boot animation. This is my all-time favorite boot animation which I am going to share with you. I don’t remember from where I had downloaded this, so sorry for invalid credits. If you are the one then please comment with your link to the post.
FOR HDPI DEVICES (480x854)
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING AND DON'T BLAME ME OR XDA FOR BOOTLOOPS
STEPS:
1. Download the file from below.
2. Open root explorer (download from play store).
3. Go to /system/media and paste the file there.
4. Extract bootaudio.zip and Copy bootaudio.mp3 to /system/media (check if a file with same name exists there)
Or
Extract PowerOn.zip and copy poweron.ogg to /system/media/audio/ui (check if a file with same name exists there)
5. Fix the permition of poweron.ogg to rw-r-r
6. Reboot
7. Enjoy
TAKE A SECOND TO SAY ‘THANKS’
Animation is beautiful. Working on Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT-i9082. ? But there is no sound. Is it because I have copied bootaudio.mp3 & PowerOn.ogg to their respective folders. Will the sound effect work if I remove one file. Suggest me which one to remove!?

First of all check if you have extracted bootsound.mp3 from bootsound.zip (downloaded file).
For some samsung based roms, delete the poweron.ogg from audio folder and keep the bootaudio.mp3 in system/media/
Did you get the popup while copying the sound?
No didn't get any popup! I'm using Carbon 4.4.4 custom ROM.

You have to name the file exactly like this: PowerOn.ogg
Put it in /system/media/UI/
Make sure you set permissions.
