[Q] Rooting Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM=N900T - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM=N900T that I am trying to root.
I downloaded Odin3 v3.07 already,
I am using CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t.tar.md5 file to try and root my phone,
I have tried rooting both before and after activating my developer options and debugging.
I get as far as RECOVERY> CACHE> PASS!
But my phone still won't root properly. It says at the bottom of Odin 3 "1 successful/0faild"
What can I do differently to properly root my phone?

First Odin and ClockWork Mod are not the same. Odin is a flashing tool, CWM is a recovery. Possible fix, you need to enter recovery and wipe data, cache and Dalvik. Or you may need to do a full wipe, in recovery, then reflash your rom. Many times the problem your facing is from flash in a rom without doing the necessary wipes.

Motochopper need new file for Samsung S4 i9192

Hello , I'm in need of new file in motochopper downloader ( with new file for the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9192 ) as i've kinda soft bricked the phone.
WHAT I DID... I downloaded into my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini I9192 the file for what i thought was ok the motochopper for samsung galaxy S4 and it has somehow locked it with i believe Titanium backup somehow. what it does is reverts it back to when it got jammed up or put the wrong motochopper file into phone = whenever it reboots it always goes back to what people i called that day apps on phone settings... ect , no matter what i do i cant get back to factory reset. I've tried the Kies option and odin with new files it won't take to the phone because i believe the USB debugging won't allow for other methods.
With motochopper the phone is left on and the download can accept files and i can have the USB debugging checked.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated..... The phone still works but does bootload couple times a day on its own. phone still works but can never save anything new cause it constantly goes back to settings when it was corrupted. Thanks again.
I've tried numerous methods to get back to Factory default.... I'm out of options and thoughts. Thank you.

[Q] GALAXY NOTE 3 WILL NOT ROOT. help

I tried rooting my SM-N900 using odin 3 and Cfautoroot-t03g-t03gxx-gtn900.tar.md5 on android 4.4.2 N90XXUDNB2. It always stopped on cache.img. On the phone, the progress bar also stopped at about 25% completion. Then I get the Fail instead of Pass. I tried several times and kept getting the same. I had to use odin to restore the N90XXUDNB2 in recovery mode to get my phone to boot. The void is now set to 1. Please help. I'm very frustrated. Thank you.
This is not Galaxy Note 3 forum, it's galaxy 3

[Completed] I've caused a huge problem. Soft Bricked.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102). I tried to root it. Downloaded the root package from a website (odin and cf autoroot). Then turned USB Debugging On and Put Device on Download mode ( hold power, home, volume down to begin and then volume up to Activate Download Mode, Then I Selected CF Autoroot.rar in PDA and Flashed it... Moments Later.. It Showed "FAIL" on Odin and Everything Stopped. So i restarted the device and now it says "Issues ocured while upgrading device software, please run emergency recovery using kies" when i try that it asks for a code. But i didnt do that so im not supposed to have code. Help me with a Simple Solution Please. Quickly. Thank You.

Hmm ... are you sure about the "CF Autoroot.rar" file?
It has to be a "tar" (or "tar.md5") file.
As long as you can boot into download mode again, no worry, you can fix it.
Check this thread: [CF-ROOT][SM-G7102][4.3] Root Galaxy Grand 2.
If you have questions about flashing CF-Autoroot, please register on xda (it's free), and post in the corresponding Q&A thread.
Alternatively, you can follow this guide for another rooting method: [GUIDE][HOW-TO]Easily root Galaxy grand 2 SM-G7102, but flashing CF-AutoRoot is a little bit easier IMO.

Samsung Galaxy S6 & Odin: Write Error with Stock Frameware (Softbricked)

Hi, I recently rooted my phone last night to switch emoji and hopefully be able to use Snapprefs. The rooting process went smoothly (I used SuperSU and Odin) And I was able to switch emojis perfectly fine. This morning, I went to show a friend the steps I used to root my phone, and made a small, yet detrimental mistake. I turned off USB debugging and OEM to show the two options, but forgot to turn them back on before I restarted my phone, and I am now stuck with "Custom Binary blocked by FRP". I've tried to flash the stock frameware for my phone from multiple sources, but continue to get the "NAND write start!" Write failed error. I am using a USB 2.0 port with the original samsung cable, and I am running Odin as a administrator. I have also tried factory reset in stock recovery mode, as well as clear cache. I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920P. Please help ASAP.
