[Help]Always boots to bootloader UTAG "bootmode" configured as fastboot - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What Happens?
My phone weather rebooted from adb, bootmenu, powered off and then on, rebooted from recovery, always boots in bootloader.
It says UTAG "bootmode" configured as fastboot
From bootloader I can go to recovery or regular power up! it all works.
Just I have to face the bootloader every time my phone turns on!
When did this occur?
I don't know, I flashed 3 firmwares back-to-back and then got back to GPe. I booted to bootloader in all ways. I remember me going to bootloader from my XT1033 stock ROM's boot menu, then once using adb reboot bootloader, and once going by pressing VolDown+Power. So I kind of messed up. And then after setting down to a ROM. I rebooted and realised!
What did I try to recover
1. Flashed bootloaders from different firmware
2. Went back to Stock
3. Tried all adb reboot commands
4. Tried all reboot methods from bootmenu
Help Please!
Everything else is working fine, its not a panic attack, but i need a solution

Do "fastboot oem fb_mode_clear"

Take a backup. And make a full & clean install of stock ROM. Your problem should be solved
I would suggest not to mess with BL , you will get in to trouble

Usually it will boot in fastboot mode if you have a bad flash. What is the message when the phone boots up?

stickybit factory_fastboot.
I never had a bad flash. I run cm10.1, but gps was not working someone said flashing stock then reflash cm10.1
So i used that stupid RSD LITE to flahs factory, all i did was fix the xml and erase the recovery flash. It worked fine the phone booted... Then I reflashed cm10.1 which works? Is there an oem command to kill the sticky bit?
I have tha solution!

excuse me for the next font and style, but I have a lot of time reading post forums and any track that help me to resolve this, and I found!! IN French but, no matter!!
To resolve the message and constantly booting into AP Fastboot, you need (into AP FASTBOOT MODE) put this command in your PC with fastboot
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
Then press power and voilá... you phone boot normally...

1: can i fastboot flash stock recovery in the first place if im 100% stock, locked and non rooted on the latest kitkat ota
2: can i fastboot flash just the system.img like i flashed recovery and if that is possible hope towelroot will do the work????

[Q] Moto G no communication with Sdcard

Well, first thanks for listening, and please have patience, haha.
I have a Moto G XT1033, my cousin, he tried to unlock the bootloader and the process has not been finalized (I think) because the phone does not turn over, just stood in the LOGO screen.
I tried to reinstall the ROM Stock, but unfortunately I did not succeed
I tried several things and nothing.
I've tried:
1- reinstall the original ROM XT1033 4.4.4
2- install the original ROM XT1033 4.4.2
3- Install the ROM XT1032 4.4.4
4- Install the ROM XT1033 5.0.2
and nothing happened :'( .
so I tried to unlock the Bootloader to see if I could get into recovery mode, to be able to WIPE Cache and Factory. But that was when I discovered that even reinstalling the ROM's and clearing the caches, was not affecting anything on the phone, I was in the Install from SDcard and all folders were there (Whatsapp, PicsArt ...)
I can not install Custom Recovery and not install any ROM since it is not installing anything !!!
and when I Wipe cache it restarts on its own and does not delete anything!
I am Brazilian and I used Google translator to write this text, I hope to help me! Thank you for listening! <3
I have a Moto G XT1032 with unlocked bootloader, custom recovery TWRP and android 5.0.2 via adb, no problem
Can you boot into fastboot? Does it say the bootloader is unlocked?
So you are able to flash a stock ROM without errors?
Can you get into stock recovery to wipe?

Yes, but nothing works, the adb process of all "Okay" but when rebooting, it is only on screen logo and does not start, and after about 2 minutes it restarts again.

You can boot into fastboot? - Yes said the bootloader is unlocked? - yes
So you are able to flash a ROM stock without errors? - Yes and no XD (in adb shows that installs but does not actually install anything)
You can get in stock recovery to clean? yes and no (the screen shows that wiped but not actually cleaned anything, the fiction folders all there in the same place, whatsapp etc ...)
You are using ADB or fastboot to flash stock ROM? Fastboot commands only work when the phone is in fastboot mode.

good, I do not know a lot of things, but change ROM's and those kinds of things I can do, you see, is that what's going on I've never seen, practically the cell turned into a zombie, he's dead just not hahaha.
I'm using the ADB and Fastboot the in the same folder, and installed the ROM's in fastboot mode (vol - + Power)
it's OKAY in the installation process, only it does not actually install anything.
already tried deleting the cache but he n erases anything already gave factory reset and nothing happens: '(
researched two days and a half on the subject to try to solve it, but I was out of options, so I posted here in the forum, takes a lot to help me with this!
in the process with my phone got everything worked unlock the good bootloader, install custom recovery and rom lollipop
since my cousin was not so lucky
he screwed the phone in bootloader unlocking process (if I'm not mistaken)

I tried reflashing everything, but this message keep showing up when the device is booted.
PS: when I hit start on bootloader, it boots normaly...

Do a factory reset(not from The recovery, do that in the bootloader selecting an option called "factory")

Moto G3 boots into recovery every time I power on device

I have unlocked my bootloader. Every time I power on my Motorola Moto G3, it boots into the recovery screen. It isn't really a problem, it's more of an annoyance. I have to use the power / volume buttons to choose start and then it boots into the OS fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Actually it's not an issue, the command
Code:
fastboot oem fb_mode_set
makes the phone boot into bootloader mode instead of starting android. To undo this, you'll just have to type in-
Code:
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
. No need to flash the whole firmware again if this is the only problem.

Where do I type this command in? Using ABD and fastboot? Do I just go into the bootloader and plug my phone into my PC, then open up ABD and fastboot and type in that command or what do I do? Is that the only command I need to type in? Sorry, I'm a noob to this kinda stuff!

Reboot the phone into bootloader mode. To do this, power off the phone, press and hold power+volume down button till it shows up.
Plug the phone into PC, open command prompt from the folder where adb.exe and fastboot.exe are present, and type that command (only that one is needed). Disconnect the phone and try rebooting to see if it boots correctly.

If that was the case, you could never boot the phone into Android... the OP stated that he can select continue and start the device normally. It is most likely stuck in fastboot fb_mode like @Gravemind2015 stated.
Excuse any possible miss posting of My question.
Moto G 3 factory rom and rooted
Problem: Motorola security update action causes Moto to keep booting into twrp recovery loop.
Have tried to break the looping, but there is something I am missing or not doing correctly any help thanks.....

Shouldn't that make the phone stay at bootlogo as the kernel and ramdisk are overwritten by TWRP code? @Uncle Waldo stated that the phone is looping into TWRP after *moto update action*. So what I am able to figure out is that this is a OTA-on-stock-rom-with-custom-recovery situation. I am a litte doubtful though as google says the phone boots into kernel from recovery (which is evident here) instead of kernel from boot partiton (source), so you may be 100% correct here too
@Uncle Waldo : If that is indeed the case (i.e moto issued an update and since rebooting the phone it's just looping into TWRP and giving an error) then I'd recommend that-
Flash stock boot.img as @acejavelin suggested
Flash stock recovery.img (as TWRP can't nstall stock ROM updates)
This is assuming that the /system partition was never modified in any way. If the update still fails in stock revovery, I'd guess that the whole system has to be restored to a non-modified state (i.e flashing the full firmware). You can try flashing all without doing the 'fastboot erase' part though, but i'd recommend you to backup your files using TWRP when you can.

If it is because of an update, you can't accept it while on TWRP... If you did, try to access the TWRP menu and if you can't boot TWRP from.fadtboot (not flash) and wipe caches... It should boot normally after that.

You believe this could be my problem as the moto boots just fine and it's only started this problem when I installed the following update.
Motorola > android security updates version 24.211.14.en.US
After this install and reboot it appears to work just fine and then shortly reboots into TWRP from here the only correcting action that stops the reboot loop is "RESTORE".
After restoring and reboot the moto is back to operating as before and at some point I get the same message to install the security updates and the dance begins anew.
If reflashing the stock boot image via fastboot could correct my problem > then I am all ears Ace, as it's been sometime since I ventured into android ville and any help in this matter thanks...

You edited the original question after I replied... Read my follow-up answer. You can't take an OTA with TWRP installed, just start TWRP and wipe caches and then don't accept any further OTA.

Your correct I missed that one, a BC moment (before coffee) sorry.
Okay in the fog of my memory I do now remember the OTA prohibition as I said it's been a piece of time.
I've done as instructed and all is well again, but will this nag screen appear again as it has done.
Question > How do I shut the motorolia OTA update off, so I don't get their stupid never ending nag screen everytime that I look at phone?
Thanks for your help...

From the picture you uploaded, says that your bootloader is locked, so that is why you can't flash any custom recovery. First you need to unlock your bootloader first but BACKUP FIRST, cause it will erase your internal storage when you unlock your bootloader. After unlocked, then you can flash custom recovery. Hope that helps.
Edit: but if your bootloader is really already unlocked, than try this, flashed twrp, then power down your phone by pressing the power button, then boot to twrp by press power button + volume down buttom. Don't reboot to twrp using the option im bootloader mode or using adb.
