24 Intro Boot Screen - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Themes and Apps

Hello, I rock a rooted stock kitkat rom. I was curious if there is a 24 (the tv show) boot screen from the intro?
I hope you don't detest this question to much
I appreciate it thank you

Wrong section. This belongs in the Q&A.

I can fix that. Since I made this thread I spent all my time trying to get one to work.
I tried all day at work. Then I got home I happened to search something different and one of the tutorial guide threads said something that no other one did.
When compiling the bootanimation.zip you need to switch compression mode to "Store" and it finally worked.
So if anyone is interested in my bootanimation it's the intro to 24. Here it is. its the kind of zip you flash through Custom recovery.

Heres a better one with cropped images so it doesn't look so squished.
Also I'll attach the the bootaudio file

[Q][Request] Stock droid charge boot animation

Does anybody happen have the stock charge bootanimation.zip and the boot sound wav files?
Much appreciated!
Edit: Never mind I found them. But is there any way to edit the boot file to make it blue instead of red? I'm trying but I can't seem to find out how.

Mind directing me to where you found the stock boot animation for the charge?
No way to edit .qmg files without qmage software...which is proprietary...which means it's expensive. Samsung mainly uses this devil-spawn file format in their Bada OS.
Edit:I spoke with a couple guys ok the Bada forums (rather I PMed them a few months back) who have edited these files and never received an answer from them. Perhaps you might have better luck...perhaps not.

Everything you need should be in this zip, both qmg files and the power on.wav
Just extract and place the files where they need to go.

Any issues with these files in gingerbread? I am currently using Humble 3.1. Thanks for providing the zip. Still no answer from the Bada forums?
I did get a reply linking me to a theme developing tool for bada, cant remember the name off hand...it does handle .qmg files however there is no direct front end to manage it and i am far to inept to try and break down and isolate the code needed for this...
So essentialy, no lol

I'm not sure if the custom ROMs will support the qmg boot anis. I haven't tried them.
The worst I can see happening is it won't work and you'll end up withe the plain android boot, or it will and it will be "watermarked" with the android. Somewhere in the past there was a post floating around on how to fix the "watermarked" boot but I can't remember where I saw it. Hope this is helpful

Which file is right?
So I searched around and found this thread while looking for the community kernel (old I know). But when I'm flashing this kernel, which of the files am I supposed to choose? I see a cert.sf, cert.rsa, manifest.mf, update-binary, updater-script, and then in the other folder a redbend_ua, and zImage...I'm kind of new to this Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I managed to figure out it was the zImage file. But my problem is that when I try to flash that, it takes a little while before it just tells me it failed to verify kernel (something along those lines) and then it doesn't flash it. Am I doing something brutally wrong? I already have CWM installed as per the video linked by the "Super Everything" thread on XDA. Could somebody maybe re-upload this kernel please?
Also, if I were to flash a different ROM, like say Serendipity VII, then do I still need to flash a kernel before hand? Or can I just download the ROM to my sdcard and install it with CWM? Thanks for the help!

I ran Serendipity as my first ROM, and ran it on my cappy also, to include my boys cappys
http://serendipityinfuse.weebly.com/index.html
Just follow the instructions on the above.
But if you want to try another ROM, you will have to go back to stock, well I had but I do on a regular bases...use this below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1524081
Do not unzip the PDA_Community_Voodoo_Kernel_v8.tar.md5 file. Use Odin and because the file name starts with PDA, load it in the PDA slot and flash.
Bigjoe: So just to confirm, I can go straight from UCKH1 with cwm and rom manager and NO community kernel flashed to serendipity? All I have to do is put the file onto my phone and boot into CWM(mine usually goes into blue then I click reinstall packages and then it goes to green) and then wipe data and cache and then install the file from my sdcard? He isn't very clear in his instructions when he says just flash the rom as one step haha
Also, on the original topic, the file that was uploaded on minus at the to of this thread isn't a PDA tar file. It's the community kernel zip. So I was trying to flash it with sgs kernel flasher. Is that wrong?

[Q] ICS update interrupted by CWM! Why?

I have the Skyrocket (of course) and recently downloaded ICS OTA, or some sort of update. The phone rebooted as normal, but gave me the Clock Work Mod screen. I rebooted the phone from there and got a nice error message on my home screen saying the update was interrupted. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First!
Read around. Answers are everywhere!

Maybe im wrong but to do an update like that dont you have to be on stock recovery not cwm. I know some of the experts will chime in. FYI make sure you put things like this in Q&A for future ref.
I'm not sure if it was ICS or not. But I simply clicked on "Check for updates" under device management and I have one. The phone downloads the update but when it restarts I get the CWM Recovery screen. I'm new to Clock Work, but I went ahead and restored my phone to a previous setting through Rom Manager and tried again. Same thing. Do I need to disable CWM?
This is why I made this thread

First thing you need to specify, are you with rogers? Which phone do you have exactly?
flash the recovery file from sammobile through odin. Which also has ICS tar for the Rogers equivalent. Download the file, flash through odin. There is an All in one guide for noobs near the top of the general forum with layed out instructions, just find the post you need on the front page and follow those instructions. It should be listed under returning to stock or unrooting.
i would download the ICS tar from sammobile and use the method in the guide.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342348
That will show you how to get back to stock. that is the first sticky in the dev section.
Edit: oh beat me to it i type too slow lol.
As this is a question it belongs in Q&A. To OP your questions should should have answers in the stickies and the many Upgrade related thread elsewhere. But since the community pitched in I will just placce in Q&A.
Cheers

Official EMBRYO 6 Q and A thread. Please post your questions here

This is the dedicated thread for all "general" non "development" or non "mod" related questions.
Alot of work has gone into this ROM and thank you to Samsung for releasing it and all the work mohan put into this to refine and tweak it further. Only development questions should go in the original thread below, this cannot be stressed enough to avoid clutter
Please refer to the original thread found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2074328
Please before posting any questions of any kind read and reread the first 5 posts on page 1 which cover install instructions and troubleshooting in post #5 of common issue that Datron is maintaining very nicely for us. If you have a general question then the question would go here.
Please refer to the thread below for any "mod" related questions which involve themes, fonts, icons, special or inverted apps or anything else that would fall into the "modification" category.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2082700
For any questions please post them in that thread that xcrazy also started for us.
Let's not annoy our devs who have put a lot of effort so we can benefit from their work and respect their wishes by not clogging up threads. Thank you.
Thanks for this.

For anyone having ROM Freezing after launcher install and maybe other freezing issues. Try the following:
Go to: ROMCustomizer>settings>LockScreen Options>Selected"" HorizontalLockscreen""
Seems this ticker box is a solution to several issues...
Do you think, Maybe Horizontal Lockscreen should be automatically checked marked in future updates, or at least it should be included in the post flash procedure for every one to see?

Sounds good to me but as the ROM is refined there may be no need to tick or untick a box in future updates. Mohan will take care of it I am sure.
For those with launcher issues On EMBRYO, please post your solutions and questions here. Here is a starter to troubleshoot, a procedure to install a launcher other than Touchwiz that eliminates freezing and having to reinstall the ROM after trying to switch to another launcher:

Wow. Just wow. The whole problem was my file explorer. Xplore is what I was using, and even though it was given the right root permissions it apparently wouldn't do its job. Root Explorer did the trick.

Ok, there are a few options.
1. If you can't save the apn after you put all the info manually (name, apn, mmsc, mms, etc) that means you have a bad dl or flush, the rom should let you save.
2. If you can save the apn but after you save it you can't select it, that means you have the wrong info, when you have the wrong info it doesn't stick.
3. The last thing try uclk4.
I hope it helps, I've had the same issue with skyics, I was setting up the apn with the wrong info.

[How to] Unbrick MF3 Custom Recovery Fail

I figured that I might post this to help some people as I see this posted a lot.
Are you one of the ones that tried to install a custom recovery on the MF3 update? Are you facing a never ending boot sequence or device just freezing at boot screen?
Try this to help you get a normal boot so your phone is at least usable. (Note that your factory recovery will no longer work!)
First off, do a battery pull.
After you put the battery back in (make sure it's not plugged up) go into download mode.
Click Cancel instead of continuing into download mode. Chances are your device will boot up normal. I've tried this with a device I own and also tried it on a few others (through PM and chat online).
If this works for you please let me know!
Lol I figured this out in 2 mins of owning the phone.

If you're stuck in download mode and cannot get to your OS, I think that counts as a brick! Yes, btw, post 11 in the first thread I linked shows the solution which I have been telling others to do...which you did us the favor of making a post about as well. I agree that it's good to make this post, though I think your thread title could be more useful if you edited it.
Also, should this method not work for some people, an alternative method is a good thing to have.
Thanks again and have a nice day! :good:

I think my suggestion in post #8 is still a good one.
Your current thread title makes it sound like you tried to flash a custom recovery on MF3 and it didn't work. There's no way anyone would read that title and think there's a "How To" guide in it.
Alright maybe that will work.

This is how I fixed my brick.
Flashed this file in ODIN. Now my phone boots normally. Got it from another thread with a diff issue here on XDA. I tried it and it worked. Wish I could remember where and what the thread was called. I believe it was this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2360859
