Whats the point? You can generate unlock codes via HTCdev.com as often as you like. You should also uninstall HTCsync, and use the matching drivers for your system + install latest adb/fastboot tools

I've never used that tool before but if all you are trying to do is flash a factory image just use fastboot and call it a day.

Trouble flashing MI Play Device (Global Version)

I have been strugling to flash the my MI Device. First I had tried to fastboot with a global version image which shows an error:
error: writing preloader failed not allowed

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I had tried to unlock the bootloader which also failed:
Please add your account in MIUI's Settings > Developer Options > Mi Unlock status.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I had tried with the fastboot command which also failed :
fastboot oem unlock
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I had tried "Wipe Out All Data" from the recovery menu. But the process failed.
Anyone any suggestion ?
Note: This device is not starting up. The screen always stuck at the startup screen. However I can still access the fastboot and recovery option though.

Hello. I recently got a Pixel 4a and have been trying to unlock bootloader and install Magisk to no avail. I can't even toggle the OEM unlocking option. As far as i know the Verizon version might be impossible to unlock bootloader. But i have no idea if my device is Verizon or not. After checking the device's cid adb return 000000. Am i out of luck here or is there something can be done? Thanks

OEM unlocking of Pixel phones requires internet access.
In my case trying to do OEM unlocking without internet access was the reason for the same greyed out button.
Did you setup internet access and restart the phone afterwards?
If yes, then I am out of ideas.

Flash Fastboot without unlocking Bootloader?

Hey, I am using Redmi 4 prime. I wanted to unlock my Bootloader. But Mi unlocker and adb says it's locked. So I want to flash the fastboot rom to fix it. Any suggestion?

Screenshot provided shows phone's bootloader is unlocked.
FYI: Fastboot is integral part of phone's bootloader, hence you must flash nothing to have it working.

It's actually not unlocked. It only shows it's unlocked. It's like a fake rom problem

My guess is that /dev/sbl1 is partition what houses phone's bootloader.
