i tried it but it says kernel is unavailable for my tablet version (n8013)
Trie it and it works good, but needs stock rom and kernel, I set my clock to 1.6 ghz to be same as note 2 (we have got same processor ) ,so far 1.6 ghz is safe as it is already supported by the processor, I'm on stock 4.1.1 uk rom

1.6ghz works. Anything above this freezes and reboots.
Why do you need to overclock this beast?? It runs beautiful every game highest settings!!

Unexpected Shutdown while using the phone

Hey guys, I'm using rooted stock gingerbread with tagb kernel 1.2 hotfix and I'm also using a mode i.e. Int2ext+. Everything is fine but recently my phone is shutting down on it's own even though there is enough battery. It happens once in a day while downoloading, browsing and listening to some music at the same time! My phone is overclocked to 691 mhz default by kernel, which makes my phone unstable! So, I have used "No cpu frills " app to bring it down to max:600mhz and min: 240mhz, governor : 'performance' or sometimes 'powersave' , scheduler: sio. I think unexpected shutdown is due to overclocking but i use "No cpu frills". Sometimes, my cpu runs to 691 mhz and if overclocking is the issue then how do i bring it normal frequency permanently without using any app or without applying the settings ( clocking at normal frequency) every boot using a app. Today, I was messing with the no cpu frills to change the governor to performance but my phone shutted down on its own. Please help me!
keep cpu min to 480 MHz and cpu max to 729 MHz. dont worry, this is very stable and doesn't drain the battery. also configure the settings to set these frequencies on boot. reply if the prob is solved.

But it happens when my phone is not overclocked. What is the reason behind it? I was just switching the governors that's it.

Today I noticed a warm boot during a phone call, but it didn't got lost! Things can happen, but no idea why. No error message so far, just rebooting, no re-dialing.
Probably useless to search for the error. It happened once and not repeating since then anymore.

Most likely due to incompatibility with the kernel. Try flashing Cm7 roms. I can assure you that you wont have any issues

[Poll] CPU Binning

Saw this thread over at the s4 forums and thought why not!
Binning info can be found at /d/acpuclk/pvs_bin
Should be interesting for those wanting to undervolt.
My Note 3's pvs_bin is 2.
Thanks a lot for the info.
Mine is 3, the bigger the better no ?

Yes, bigger number means your cpu runs at a lower voltage.

Nope, the value only tells you your bin number. Undervolt can only be done with a custom kernel.

[q] samsung galaxy trend plus gt-s7580 overclock

Hello everyone.
Does anyone know if there's an appropriate custom kernel for this phone in order to increase cpu?
Or an alternative way to overclock it
stock it runs @ 1.2 mhz and i would like to increase that.
So far i have tried setcpu.apk on the stock rom but the maximum figure is the stock 1.2 mhz.
Looking forward for a reply. Thanks
