there are multiple moto g versions (xt1032, xt1033, etc.) are you sure you flashed the right version? also did you use the fastboot.exe provided by motorola (mfastboot.exe)? have you tried wiping through the bootloader (fastboot.exe -w)?

this is just a problem with your charger. i get this problem when charging from usb 3.0 port at my computer and when using my sony charger. my htc charger works like a charm and my motorola charger (which strangly has a voltage of 5.1v instead of 5v) seems to work even a little bit better

its a problem the phone requires more mA now to charge ur charger needs al least 850mA to charge razr chargers work well
theer is a thread at ppcgeeks.com
First of all i apologize for my poor english...second i am new member here and i say a big congrads to everyone here..
so...my problem is...
I buy the AMAZING HTC ONE X International From Germany...Everything works just perfect until o rooted this phone and unlocked the bootloader (with cwm..) But the problem is not there.the problem is i can't charge it!I try different cable,ac adaptors or usb NOTHING! I try every method i read here in XDA but still nothing..Recently i was found that cmd command with me restarting boot charge but even this one is just for litlle energy not to charge the hole phone.i try to leave it for one day on charger but NOTHING! i use the stock rom..I just rooted, unlocked bootloader and install CWM..I had read inside the forum that you can charge the phone using recovery(the latest cwm) but it is not charging! The cables are ok,so do the port because when i plug into pc opening automatically on the bootloader screen.i have no problem with me rom because i didn't touch it.sometimes it open but only for 10 minutes and then black hole AGAIN!i have also that annoying flashing red light slowly....i don't have guarantie...If i make that factory cable that will work?because the stock cable(that with the data etc) is opening the device...
PLEASE HELP ME I LOVE THIS PHONE AND I HAVE LIKE NEW I DONT WANT TO THROW IT FROM MY WINDOW!!
THANKS TO ALL
My Milestone 2 is totally dead now...the screen is totally black or no display...initially it was on bootloader mode and windows do recognized the Motorola interface..but now its not even getting recognized....
Is there any way to make the M2 to bootloader mode or is there any way to recover it....?
Hi i had the same issue, but i found that only the display was not correct powered. Wipe data and cache in stock recovery and pull battery. Then start in bootloader mode and connect to pc rsd lite says usb connected, you can flash even you dont see anything from bootloader screen.

If its not recognized but detected I think would mean you need correct drivers. When my phone failed it was also not recognized but I heard windows noise like when connecting any device so installed old drivers and it was detected.

I also had this problem. I bought an external battery charger and charged the battery in it, then put it back in the device.
The problem is, when the battery is empty, it won't charge in the device and RSD Lite won't work.
My advice is to get the battery charged somewhere and put it in bootloader mode then flash it.
I don't remember very well but I had the same issue when I make mistake and flashed 2.3.6 and after that trying to put 2.3.4.
U can try flashing tje one of 2.3.6 (vivo brasil etc), but after that u are stuck on bl 4 roms.
Does anyone have UK MILS2_U6_2.2.16 version sbf....i need exactly this version..if someone have this please do upload it somewhere..

If it helps you, I can upload MILS2_U6_2.4.24 DACH. It is German Froyo 2.2.2.
It is almost same as UK except for keyboard layout.

Yes, exactly this happened to me. I was not able to enter the bootloader mode, the phone didn't visually react on any keys including the PWR... Looked like a brick. But it wasn't!
As a last chance I started sbf_flash with proper SBF file, waited for the "Waiting for phone" message, inserted the battery to the MoMi2 and without pressing anything, just connected it. After about 5 seconds, sbf_flash properly detected the phone, initiated and executed the RAM loader, the display revived and showed the same as with regular flashing... and that's the happy end .
My NEXUS 5 just recently starting giving me issues, battery draining about 15% per hour (without use) takes about 4 hours to charge and I cannot adb into device (computer does not see it at all) ive tried multiple cables and I have the original charger plus many after market chargers in good working order. I can get into TWRP and flash roms but no matter what i do results are the same. (marshmallow rom currently) could my usb port be suspect?
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

ADB or Fastboot? If your phone is on and booted up and you are trying to run ADB commands, click on the notification that tells you what mode you are in. I think by default it is in charging only mode. Tap to change modes and select PTP. I think that's what it is. Then your computer should see it.
Probably a driver problem. Have you changed laptop/OS recently? Try installing on your PC Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolhit and following the instructions in Install and Test Drivers - the long button top right.

Doesn't see it in MTP, PTP or charging mode, it use to in both, not a driver issue either. I have 3 other Nexus 5's and 2 nexus 7's in the house I've done flashing both via ADB through windows and with TWRP there is definitely an issue I just can't figure it out

Yes, tried on multiple computers, multiple USB ports and USB cables. Any chance of a "bad flash" I unroofed, upgraded to latest 6.01 and re-rooted everything seemed fine? No drops to phone or anything out of the ordinary other than the upgrade

From the sound of it seems like your USB port is dead.
I have that warning with my HTC 10 prerootet rom.
But only if I have adb active in engineersettings.
Good day gents and ladies
Well let me start from the beginning.
I'm was using mi-globe 6.12.22
Last week Friday evening downloaded 7.2.9 mi-globe,read around the mi-globe forum.Didn't see anything funny so flashed via twrp on Saturday morning.Hmmmmmmmm this is when all my problems started.
Basically what I should of done is download 7.2.9,new 3.0.3 twrp for norgat,go into recovery flash new recovery, restart recovery, flash 7.2.9 and then have happy days. But it wasn't to be and now I'm basically sitting with a useless mi4c device.
The device works but warms up and I only get about 4 hours battery life.
If I try boot into recovery I just get black screen.
If I connect device to PC it is not recognized, have tried 3 x different laptop/PC's and different cables.
So fastboot,mi-flash,mi-unlock are all not possible as device is not recognized.
I have been trying different solutions without any success.
I think if it would be possible to root device directly without PC then maybe it will be possible to get flashfire working and I can flash new norgat recovery?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
NB.I have tried loading Qualcomm drivers ,google drivers etc etc.no luck can't connect my device too PC,either get device not recognized or the PC doesn't even see the device.Enable USB debugging etc etc nothing works.Been fiddling for 4 days!!!!!!!
Tried to root with kingoroot, framaroot directly on device etc nothing works?
Please help, else device is a nice piece of plastic that holds paper down on my table.lol

Is usb charging via pc working and have you tried miui updater? , This seems weird state you have ... If none working might be tried deep flash cable flashing ... Or go to nearest service center. Hope that help. Best luck.
Hi,yes USB chargers device via PC but that's all.
How does one deep flash, could you post link please?
I bought the device in China about 18 months ago,Xiaomi never sold mi4c in my country so doubt they could help me locally.
Seems I have soft bricked the device?Tried every thing no solution.
If it would possible to root without USB cable I could maybe try flash new twrp via flash fire? Then could wipe all and try start again?

You havent answered the miui updater part, have you tried flash miui rom.zip, using miui updater apps ?
Does fastboot mode boot on your phone ? i mean the bunny sceen showed up ?
For dfc here the link http://xiaomitips.com/guide/miui-deep-flash-engineering-cable-solution-to-non-edl-device/
Please take dfc as last resort. And do research more on this... Do with your own risk. Good luck
Hi,
Yes sorry I have tried updater, I download rom start updater it starts but after about 2 minutes stops and phones shuts down.
I then have to restart phone with long press of power button. It restarts but nothing has changed.
Wrt fastboot it goes into fastboot but this is useless cause no Pc can see my device and if it sees it it sees unknown device, spent countless hours trying different things without any success.
Seems have soft bricked the device, phone works but gets hot and battery life maybe 4 hours if I'm lucky?
Not sure what more today?

Before this has your pc able to use the miflash ? Try to follow this guide to setup it correctly http://en.miui.com/thread-136188-1-1.html ... I follow this guide and the adb n fastboot even works on an old pentium 4, 512mb ram, win xp laptop.
Ps: I think, its only a matter of incorrect driver setup on your side, best luck.
