Hi guys,
I just upgraded my note 3 SM-N9005 via kies to the latest firmware (N9005XXUEND3) and I tried to root it.
For some reason the root is not working and my phone is not rooted.
Can any one help me with how to root it ?

Did you try to root with CF-autoroot ?
if yes, did you go into download mode using the 3 button (vol down + power + home) ?
If yes, sometimes, for some device, 1st root will not succeed, you have to repeat the same process again. If i'm not wrong, it is stated on the OP of cf-autoroot.
If it is still failed, try to clean data factory reset first, then repeat the process again.

Hi,
I rooted my Note Pro 12.2 as I thought that I will use some root apps.
I ended up not using any root apps and now I want to un-root my device
as I cannot update it normally.
Can I unroot the device without wiping all data?
If no, can I update the device manually without wiping all data?

I'm on a droid ultra 4.4.4 ota with a locked bootloader. I recently got root with kingroot ive been able to get root acess before and still do but for some reason whenever I restart my phone or turn it off and back on I lose root acess and have to use the app kingroot again. Ony Samsung Galaxy s3 I have root acess and don't lose it but recently that got hard bricked what I need though is the figure out if maybe it isn't installing root in the right place or why I lose it on start up if anyone can help me out with that I will be in your debt.

I'm looking for help rooting my galaxy s5 SG-M900W8 running 5.1.1, I ran cf auto root with Odin it flashed an said passed, when I unplug ed the phone it was in a boot loop, I put it into recovery mode it was still saying I had no root access an that it was the original recovery, I flashed the original rogers room to get out of the bootloop as a factory reset didn't help, is there a way to root my modle on andriod 5.1.1 kingroot dose not support nor dose kingo app, I heard for the s6 running 5.1.1 you need to flash a custom kernal before rooting it this true? Can someone point my to the right place plz! This isn't my first time rooting but my first time with issues!

I have searched all of over the internet for my phones root with no success whatsoever.
- Kingroot does work on the phone but when I reboot my phone it looks up my bootloader and tells me that I have flashed an unauthorised rom and that I should contact cricket. I then had to flash the stock rom with kies.
- I have tried to flash all sorts of recoveries including TWRP and CWM recoveries. It just gives me a fail and on my phone it says "Secure Check Fail: Recovery".
Please help make a root for my phone.

If I were you I would not update because there are no ways to root the phone, at least, I have not found anyway. And the update is through kies 3. Go to this website and please extract the software from kies 3 so that all of us can use it to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4. if that's the situation. Please reply if you run into any trouble because I have already done this for the firmware 5.1.1. and I know how to do it.

Trust me, nothing works. I have literally scanned the whole internet.
I want to root my note edge SM-N915G (which i recently updated to marshmallow (officially - using system auto update)) using CF auto root. I have been reading tutorials on the internet on how to use it. It says to download the right Files first from the autoroot.chainfire.eu site.
but the one for the SM-N915G (android 6.0.1) has a build number of MMB29M.N915GXXS1DPH3 while the one on my phone is MMB29M.N915GXXU1DPG6. is that ok?
they also have a warning about this:
UNLOCK BOOTLOADERS
If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device - with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically "OEM unlock" and wipe your data !

and it bricked my phone.

I think the method on the link you provided will work (cant try it though because my phone is currently bricked)
The one that bricked my phone is when i use the cf auto root using the files on there site .. i think the problem is about locked bootloader on android m .. not sure though. . I will definitely try the method in the link you provided after my phone is fixed

first flash with emotion kernel then after flash with super su 2.14.zip, i just rooted my n915g 6.0.1 experimentally and rooted my n915g.
