Installation guide(Froyo Versions)

Part 1 - Clean flash of XXKB3(Skip Part 1 if you have already on XXKB3)
1. Download and run odin.
2. Check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
3. Click PIT button and select this file: latona_20110114.pit
4. Put your phone into download mode: Press Volume down + OK + Power.
5. Connect USB cable and the program will detect the phone's Com number.
6. Click Start button to download the PIT file to phone.
7. After it is Done Click on Reset button, then unselect Re-Partition box.
8. Click PDA button and select this file: I9003xxxxx-xxx...-PDA-low-CL890053.tar.md5
9. Click PHONE button and select this file: MODEM_I9003xxxxx_REV_00_CL889972.tar.md5
10. Click CSC button and select this file: GT-I9003-CSC-xxxxxx.tar.md5
11. Remove the battery, then enter Device into Download Mode again.
12. Click Start button to flash these files to phone.
13. Do not touch anything till you see PASS on the program window.
14. Just do a factory reset after flashing using recovery
Part 2 -
1. Install CWM.
2. Copy the custom ROM into your external sd card.
3. Boot into your Clockwork Mod Recovery
4. Choose install zip from sdcard ==》 choose zip from sdcard ==》Then select OsmanFans_v1.x.zip to install. (Notice that if you want to select anything, please use MENU button but not HOME button!)
5. After the installation is complete, reboot and you will now have the OsmanFansRom installed.
6. Calibrate battery.
7. DONE!!

Q. The camera doesn't work.
A1. Follow my installation guide and flash XXKB3 according to the guide if you did not.
IF THE ABOVE FAILS REFER TO A2
A2. Reflash using guide above.(Part 1 and 2)
Q. I am stuck on boot screen after flashing. (Boot Loop)
A1. Your phone might be still building the Dalvik-Cache. Wait for another 15 minutes or so, if it is still on boot screen, refer to A2.
A2. Do a factory reset. If it still continue to boot loop, you might have soft bricked your phone, just reflash again and it SHOULD work out fine.
Q. Why is there no ringtones and notification tones in default??
A. It takes up unnecessary space and the ringtones and notification tones are not that good either. Besides, you can add your own nice ones yourself.
Q. When is GB version coming out??
A. There is already one. V2. Although it is still in Beta and some people are reporting it does not work. You can find it Here!
Q. There are some bugs.
A. Try out V1.2.1 if you are using other versions. It is the most stable one.
Q. Battery drains fast.
A. You will not have this problem if you followed all my instructions. Anyways, just calibrate your battery.

Install Instruction
- first of all backup all your data from internal SD card, 4.3 has different structure tree!!!
- if you go from 4.1.2 or older or other I recommend format internal card, if you don't do it, on internal card were by me still data (DCIM etc...) and you can't normal access them on 4.3, but even without formatting you can later move them from old folder to new one in 4.3 with Aroma file manager , for me easer way without format. Also is possible, that date will move automatically - also me happened
- bee sure, that you have EFS backup!!!
- create NanDroid backup to external card!!!
- download the *.zip file to external card!
- download to Recovery
- ROM isn't full wipe, but is recommended if you get from 4.1.2 and older
- wipe cache and Dalvik cache is automatically included
- select ZIP file from external card and install
- in menu of installer you choose only what you understand. there isn't nothing important for system stability - is only what we importantly don't need (bloatware)
- don’t use re-root after installation inside recovery - you don’t need it, if you'll do, then you need install again SU apk from market
- reboot and wait and wait ...
- enjoy it
Kernels: if you ever before flashed official Rom 4.3 via Odin you have New Bootloader and you should to use AGNi Kernel or Boeffla SELinux Permissive.
Stock kernel is there only for users who have problem with camera or for users on New Bootloader if wants it use without S5 theme (doesn't work Wifi with S5 theme)
Xposed: if you use Wanam Xposed, after install Rom reactivate Xposed Framework installer.
If you new installed Xposed, open Xposed installer and go to menu "Framework" and choice "Install", then reboot your phone, then open Wanam Xposed apk and activate module Wanam Xposed and next Xposed moduls in Xposed installer (menu "Modules"), reboot . That's all, open Wanam Xposed and set, set, set .....enjoy it.
Wanam Xposed apk - read this only until v6.10, in v6.11 is this solved: with last version is problem keeping our CSC feature and when you e.g. set Disable Airplane toggle mode or Bluetooth, then is after reboot problem with popup toggle of data and is lost possibility use only GSM.
Solution:
1. for right using and working of Wanam Xposed you have to go to the menu "Advanced" and there unselect "Keep my extra CSC features" than set what you want or leave your setting and reboot - no more problems with popup of data and other setting in in the future.... but, but you'll lose CSC features of our Rom ....that's a pity and better is use 2nd method
2. or set in Wanam what you need, reboot, mount system rw (for example in ES explorer/tools/tap on Root explorer/mount R/W then set system RW), go to system/csc/ delete feature.xml and rename feature.xmlbak to feature.xml, reboot - this step is what I use
S5 Launchers: Widget is possible add from desktop editing ...hit the Text "Widgets" (not icons). If you use My Magazine for full correct working install Flipboard apk from market. Wallpaper is possible change only in Settings/My device/Wallpaper
if you encounter FC while changing wallpaper (not live wallpapers) download and flash this SecWallpaperPicker, thanks @sunajkram23 . Grid 5x6 is only by Alphabetic order.
S5 Pro Launchers: if some icons appears on the dock after flashing ...just drag in the Homescreen.
The NewPure Audio Mod: with this perfect Mod is the best for using recommended Smart Player. Sound quality between paid and free version (included in the installer) seems isn't any (in my opinion and experience). Paid version provides more option and tweaks, for comfortable using I strongly recommend it. Smart Player hasn't graphic equaliser! There is really perfect built-in PureEQ equaliser set up to 3-5-5-3-8. If you want use compatible graphic equaliser use this DSP Manager (download and flash - is tested). DSP manager is supported in Smart Player and quality of sound isn't at all disappeared , or you can use also this ViPER4Android FX, but with this apk you lost setting of PureEQ (sound will be worse), but you can there set up again it on 3-5-5-3-8 (all 2x there) and the sound of PureEQ is again back and great .
If you don't want use paid version of Smart Player next possibility is use Google Play Music, there seems is sound quiet the same, but I don't recommend it to use with graphic equaliser Music FX (quality lost) and instead you should again flash DSP Manger from above or use ViPER4Android and in the Setting/My device/Sound set up ViPER4Android as default.
Also is possible only use some graphic equalisers from Market but they aren't supported directly from both Apks
Worst variant is use Stock Player, there is biggest loss quality of sound.
PS. if will be next version of the Rom I'll maybe include there DSP Manager or V4A apk
Camera: if you have problem with Camera follow part "Notes"
Boot Sound: if you want activate boot sound, rename in system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg.bakkkk to PowerOn.ogg
P.S. did you forget something install? Or you have installed something more, nothing happens, install Rom again, select what you want add or remove .... Rom isn't full wipe ;-)

Notes
If your camera doesn't work primary follow this (thanks @Hbohd and @P$T), if you don't have incriminated file flash again Rom with Stock kernel - Wifi doesn't work with old bootloader, then take photo and short video, then flash again Rom without full wipe with kernel which you like. If your camera still doesn't work follow THIS or flash some Rom 4.1.2 (via Recovery or Odin) take picture, grab and backup incriminated files, then flash this Rom and put them to data/cwm. Don't forget backup your SlimISP_XX.bin for future. Problem with camera have average only cca 10 users JB 4.3 of 1000 usr..

- Problem between Fly-On mod and Boeffla config apk SOLVED, we can now have again both without any problem,
mainly no more problem with loss of profiles setting in Boeffla Config after rebooting
- Boeffla confing apk is again installed with Boeffla kernel
- added option in Add-Ons (last item there - don't forget scroll down), there you can choose if you want install PhilZ Touch CWM Advanced Edition or Not, defaultly isn't now selected.
I've never tested flash Rom on different CWM then with PhilZ, but with this Aroma Installer it should be OK, please put here report (I haven't time try it), thank you.

Which recovery should we use to install? I have TWRP is this OK?
I think OK, but after install this Rom you'll get last PhilZ Touch CWM Advanced Edition.
I have flashed 2.0 and im testing it , just little concerns is that the aroma installer has many options and some on the are not quit clear, also wanam module is not updated to 2.6.5 so can you do so also for the angi kernel when ever chosen it gives failure to reset under the device momery, also what is the possibility to set the keyboard to be as note keyboard

In the last v2.02 is a little less options and something better explained, for next version I plan i to do a little more reduction package with SystemApps. In the option of installer you can choose only what you understand. In option isn't nothing important for system stability - is only what we importantly don't need (bloatware)
Last update of Wanam will be in the next version - i forgot it. Now you can update via Google play
I don't use primary AGNi , but when i tried, absolutely no problem. Kernel is only taken an put to installer (nothing changed). Try ask in AGNi thread.
Note keyboard maybe in next vesion, I don't use it

Oh I also forgot to mention that my files is not shown in apps so would u add it, and about the note keyboard its the same as samsungg keyboard and the only different is the numbers shown at the top row, so please add it
In v2.02 is quite down, yes keyboard I'll add to next version.
Now i can it port to our i9305, please find the link in section for i9300 and send me link, in the evening (I'm out of home) I'll create flashable file for us.
Edit : v2.02 you can install of course without full wipe, you will not lose your data.
Edit2: and if I good remember, in previous version was also "My files" in option "SystemApps" quite down, hope older version I already deleted from PC. Maybe you only remembered it select.

Good rom overall. I only missed note 3 keyboard, but flashed separately and works fine.
I have only one small problem with market. Not all icons has been loading for me. I don't know that is gapps related problem or rom problem.
How I see, must bee added to next version - no problem
By me is market OK. Try restart phone, logout from Google account an again login, maybe it will want probably again agreement. Also try it with default browser. From rom isn't deleted nothing important. Also try connect between Wifi and Data. No more Idea by me.

Problem was related with too agressive hosts file. I deleted them and now all works fine
Thank you man for solving's report! I'll edit in the next version.
Is there any possibility to have a choice to shoose yank kernel as well while using aroma installer for you next update, also the wallpaper make it by default to be the new note screen as it would add a value for ur rom and not only the standerd wallpaper

The yank kernel isn't officially available, at least what I know. If do you to much want, I can to you provide my private link per PM for yank kernel, but if he alone doesn't want to publish it, I also don't want include to Rom.
I primary prefer ported Boeffla from @Hbohd and his team btw. @P$T .....we must him THX! He was first which ported and provide for us custom kernel for JB 4.3.
And to the Wallpapers, I mean, that's very personal matter. Isn't easier way use for example apk Zedge from Google Play ? There is a very large selection. Or also is possible find some good in i9300 threads.

Install instructions: Only for international N9005
If you are on Jelly Bean (4.3):
Must flash the KitKat bootloader first!
The easiest way is ODIN v3.07 download stock 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile.com and flash it.
If you are already on Kitkat (4.4.2):
Root your phone with CF-Auto-Root
Flash Chenglu's CWM recovery
Go to CWM recovery (press and hold Home+Volume up+Power button)
If you want backup your current Rom.
Start the installation
Wipe method can be selected in the included Aroma installer, so wipe in recovery not needed.
Select what you want to install
Start the install
If the installer finished reboot
Attention with the method above no more warranty (KNOX will be changed to 0x1)

Just as info for those, who want's to use the f2fs file system:
Recommended: TWRP 2.8.x.x & an custom kernel with f2fs file system support !
1.) Backup your internal SD Card! Attention internal SD Card will be fomatted by moving from ext4 to f2fs!!
2.) Copy the Rom zip to external SD Card!
3.) Download and install TWRP recovery.
4.) Boot to recovery mode
5.) Press Wipe - Advanced Wipe - Select System - Repair or Change File System - Change File System
6.) Do the same for Data & Cache
7.) Back to TWRP home screen
8.) Install - Select the Rom zip
9.) At the first selection screen in the Aroma installer select: Custom file system mode
10.) At the next screen select Lean kernel for f2fs support.
After that the install process is back to normal.

The Rom includes lot of changes, so I recommend to use "wipe data/factory reset"
from recovery before installing the Rom. Clean install recommended. "Partial wipe"
Please don't restore old backups, first try the Rom.
Instead external backup apps use the built in Google backup.
It's perfect! All apps & settings will be restored after a clean install.

- I don't know don't using them (except Per App Settings) must find out what can be used
- Xposed installer included, because some apps aren't multi Dpi yet. (set them back to 480 Dpi with Per App Settings)
@ Enabling S5 TW 2014 UI in settings:
- Never tried it (don't like the Smurfs blue color) try it yourself
@ FC with some apps or in the settings:
- Please put back what you manually removed
@ Homescreen with TW launcher looks ugly after Dpi change:
- Clean data: Settings / General / Application manager / ALL / TouchWiz home => press Clear data button
@ Where is the search window from each settings tab?:

@ Recovery is locked with Reactivation lock... :crying:
- If you locked your phone, than flash stock Rom with ODIN. Login to your samsung account.
- Settings / General / Security and turn on the reactivation lock, REBOOT!
- Go back and turn of reactivation lock REBOOT!
- Lock is gone, root your phone again, flash CWM, falsh custom ROM
@ Can't see some app in the Play Store on custom DPI:
1.) Install this Multi DPI Playstore patch from custom recovery
2.) Settings / General / Application manager / All
Clear Data for: Google Play Services, Google Play Store, Google Services Framework
3.) Open Playstore app (shouldn't work)
4.) Settings / General / Accounts / Google / Accounts (open your account) / Remove Google account
5.) Reboot
6.) Open Playstore
7.) Log in
8.) If it's only loading and loading press home button
9.) Longpress on the home button remove Playstore
10.) Open Playstore (should work now)
@ PIN unlock not working SD unmounts:
Flash N9005XXUFNF2 modem or higher with ODIN. Safety first! Use the original Note 3 USB cable!
- Before flashing turn off the phone.
- Take out the battery.
- Wait 5 sec. So long start Odin.
- Put the battery back.
- Boot directly to download mode. (Press and hold Volume down + Power + Home button)
- Connect the USB cable to your Phone.
- Select the downloaded modem. (CP)
- Flash the selected modem.
@ Micro lags in the TW Launcher: (thanks to @Davide_M12 for the solution)
- Open S Voice
- Press menu and then settings
- Turn off "Use Location Data" (if doesn't help then turn "Wake Up Command" off too)
@ Google Play Movies can't play videos:
- For DRM protected contents stock kernel necessary (at the first time, then custom kernel can be used)

If I finished the OP you will see what can be selected in Aroma. (there are some basic changes)
There are no themes only stock (TW 2013 UI)

In the next 5 minutes...
For root users:
Don't need to wipe in recovery!
Wipe settings are included in the Aroma installer.
Full Wipe (only for clean install, because formats the internal SD card)
Partial wipe (recommended for first install)
Easy Wipe (for future use If you want to re select the apps without data loss)
EFS backup as you want
Kernel:
with update mode you can keep your current kernel
Dpi can be selected in the Aroma installer.
At the first install don't use update mode except the kernel selection.
Aroma installer getting sometimes crazy at the end of the install, wait 5 sec, than reboot.
Install log will not be saved with auto reboot.

Because including all the changes in the Rom takes long time and I can't work on it all day long.
Including all changes needs about one month for me and every week comes a new firmware..
So if I try to keep my Rom updated, than never will be released, because can't finish it.
Until 4.4.3 I'll stay on ND5.
It's OK for me.

Thankyou so much for this rom :laugh:, its my daily driver every other thing works but the gps navigation doesn't work, it keeps on losing signal and never gets a solid signal :crying:, any help would be greatly appreciated as I use the gps navigation on my phone almost everyday

Sorry I can't help you because mine works well.
There are some threads with the same problem, but I never had problem with the GPS.
Nobody knows exactly why:
- Someone changed his sim card (with an newer version)
- Someone tightened the screws on the back
- Someone installed X-Note
- Someone used the Gps fix
Maybe one of them could help you.
I can't search the problem if it works.

Some tips to save battery life (Thanks wanam):
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it from developer options in settings.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) Use autoStart app or Startup manager to disable un-needed app from automatic startup on boot. It will also make the startup time faster.
8) If you are facing battery juicing, use better battery stats app to find out what application preventing your phone from getting to deep sleep and find out the different types of wake locks.
9) Remove apps you don't use.
10) Enable "Power Saving Mode" from Settings
11) Use "Deep Sleep Batter Saver pro" app from the play store and set the mode to "aggressive", or use "Battery Doctor" app to extend battery life

First of all, the work is partly based on https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mod-ios-11-animation-t3630402. Thanks to mizdrake7.
But I did the following modifications:
1. Removed weird flipping effect on View, Dialogue Box...
2. Added iOS style application transition.. (port from MIUI)
3. Some tweaks..
Requirements
1. A working custom recovery (TWRP, CWM..etc)
2. Having basic knowledge on flashing
3. Android System (5.0+), tested on 7.1.2 AEX
4. Be aware that using this mod by your own risk.
Installation
- Simply flash the zip, no need to clean data, cache, etc and reboot
- The mod will create a restore flash zip so feel free to flash!
- The mod only modify framework-res.apk, so If you have a modified framework-res.apk installed it's better to restore first.
- If you have installed mizdrake7's mod, restore your framework-res first before flashing this mod!
- Restore zip should located at /sdcard/vrtheme-backup (same as mizdrake7's)

- Heads up notifications now with new animation
- Improved Application transition animation
