Hi is there anyone notice about the music apps frequently change or stop the music automatically when you lock the phone?
And at times it automatically call my phone contacts...

Not to completely hijack, but I too have a question about a music player and don't want to put up a new thread:
Does anyone have a recommendation for an app that is: low-resource, devoid of lockscreen freezing/dialing (no exp with this, but above poster made it sound terrible), and supports control via a2dp/bluetooth?
I frequently use my phone as my GPS in my car and would like to be able to run a music app in the background that I can control from a bluetooth headset. I assume that there are some "simple" music apps that require fewer resources in the background.
Does anyone have a recommendation? Is the sensation powerful enough that any old app should run fine in the background?
Best,
NR

PowerAMP hands down is the best application I have used, and trust me, I lost count of how many different ones I have tried. It isn't cheap though at $4.99, but give the 2 week FULL trial a test drive and see if you like it. I liked it so much I bought it. It has all the features you requested above.

[Q] Any fix for audio?

Hey friends i know there was a post about audio fix in sda forum but it was incomplete. Have been googling for days to find ways on how to imrpove audio (especially mid bass frequencies) but didnt find any result. There was a thing called voodoo control but it wasnt supported on our(I9003) phobne!
I am currently on indian version of gb... using equaliser unlock and also tried poweramp but didnt get the desired reults! They either make the sound too boomy or destroy high frequencies as well! Is there any way to improve sound by any mod or anything? Previously i owned w995 and i feel this phone is a downgrade as far as audio is concerned!
Any help or tips please do share.
P.S- i have tried using sony ericsson's headphone, philips SHE6000/98, philips SHE3570BK/98, sen heisser headphone(i dun remember its model no) and default samsung headphone!!
still nothing in the "better audio" topic?
Any ideas for better sound play and especially recording? (without distortions, in video)
Try Dsp manager, its quite good, install 'Root Toolbox' from the market to get it. You need to be rooted though!
but DSP manager doesn't solve the distortions problem..
i've tried audioboost also, but it doesn't working.
Try playerpro

I was experiencing the same problem when compared with my i POD nano. I have installed TTPod and set the custom eq as per my requirements. I am able to get almost 95% of the expected audio quality.

[Q] Phone is placing ui sound files in music player?

I have been a long time lurker and only recently getting the courage to actually root my phone. Success but I am getting ui sound files (lock sounds, camera_click, and few other camera sounds). They werent there before I installed Paranoid Android 3.1. Is it something with the emulated storage? How can I get them to stay out of the players? It shows up in Play Music and Apollo but not doubletwist? If anyone could give me a bit of help I would be greatful! If I am not supplying enough info I can provide as much as needed. Hope someone can help me out

Phoenix OS not able to mix audio from different sources

hi guys,
First post here, hopefully in the correct place! Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
Im running Phoenix OS on a Tabpro S and having some difficulty with audio mix.
Best example I can give is while playing PUBG, im not able to use discord as the audio is conflicting and not able to mix between the 2. Once I open a voice channel on discord, all other audio is muted.
Is there an app or a setting I can fiddle with to enable the audio from 2 sources being played at the same time? Im no guru when it comes to this sort of thing but ready to have a crack at it if anyone can steer me in the right direction?
Cheers!
I am also facing the same problem and the pubg mobile in-game sound is too low even at 100% media volume.

Why sound recording is so bad?

Hi everyone,
It is common knowledge (I hope) that when you try to recording a video or just a simple audio file with some music (for example a song during a concert or, in my case, an audio while I play the guitar and I sing something) everything sounds very very badly! Now, my question is:
Is it a software or hardware problem?
This is important to me because I use very often my phone for these kind of things, mostly during a concert. I've tried to look for something about it but I could't find any useful answer. I hope it's a software problem and it can be fixed just changing a ROM. I'm using the phone as stock now. With no root and, of course, no custom ROM. Thank you
I feel the same about the audio quality, it's pretty bad.
I actually had recorded a bunch of footage from a birthday party and the audio stopped recording entirely after about 5 seconds in...

The microphone and the output jack is only bad, other than the audio speaker. It's common usage to put low hardware on smartphone like these to push on other features.
V4A Magisk and xXxNoLimits it's good to fix this.
