Hi there bro..
Maybe the following issues :
Do
1) did you have this same problem with other recoveries?
2) are you sure you have downloaded all the ROM zips fully ?
3) do you do a clean install ?
4) did you try over clocking ? If yes then you must have burnt your nand ... Try flashing minicm and recover your nand..

I am having the exact same problem. No cm10 rom flashes in any recovery and status 7 error occurs
Hello guys! I have a problem and I would like to know how to resolve it. To be short, when I try to flash any kitkat rom. It gives me an error just after I give the command to flash. This is happening on twrp and cwm as well. I pasted the error here, maybe someone can help me. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello, I just flash my Sony Xperia Tipo with the CyanogenMod 11 - TamsuiCM11 everything is ok but my only problem was that the gapps can't be flash and I take the error "gapps installation aborted status 7", i download the first gapps from the google search i found! Can I dowload gapps, which is specific for the CM11 ?
Thanks for time and attention!
Okay, do this. Install CM11 again - but this time, do NOT install Gapps at the same time. Instead, restart, and then open the recovery again - it'll be CWM 6.0.4.7 or a newer version. Install the Gapps from this new recovery.

Just install the Gapps which you were trying to install before... it'll work in the new recovery.

I will try it!
But I have one more question and I don't know if you can help me!
This step in the instructions: "wipe data&cache + format /system partition", I first do wipe data + format and then wipe cache! Is this the right way(On recovery mode)?

Try what NSDCars5 told you..
If it doesn't work, or may be you think you have downloaded the wrong GAPPS, try this official one from CyanogenMod.

No need to wipe data when you flash GAPPS.
Only do it when you are flashing CM11.

Hello, I'm having the same problem.
Installing on Tipo, flashing TamsuiCM11, 2014/06/06 version. Following the instructions from here, everything is fine until I get to flashing the gapps zip.
CWM is already v6.0.4.9 when I'm flashing CM.
gapps-kk-20140606-signed.zip gives this error, regardless of whether I flash it immediately after CM or after a reboot:
Code:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /storage/sdcard0/gapps-kk-20140606-signed.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Well, I downloaded play services and play store, installed them via adb. However, anything "google-" crashes, and I get frequent "Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped" messages.
I'd be very thankful for any help wrt this.

Hi,
I've found this brilliant CM ROM for HTC Wildfire S:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735775
However I have a strange problem with installing the latest version cm-11.0.0-RC10-marvel.zip.
An oldest version cm-11-20140615-EXPERIMENTAL-BETA1-marvel.zip installs fine!
My recovery is "Team BlueRidge Recovery v1.1.0".
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I checked md5 sums and they're OK!
Thank you in advance for any help with this.
Regards,
grzechol
I have the same problem
please someone help
Hello htxosku8
According to what you're experiencing it seems it has in incompatible update binary.
Well you can take a look at the CWM Wiki, all recoveries have the same sort of error statuses.
Status 0
This is usually caused by an incompatible update-binary in edify ZIPs. Replacing it with a compatible one, then re-signing the ZIP, will usually fix this error.
As said you can fix this error, just download another similar ROM for your device and replace the update binary from that in the one you get an error with. It should be fixed.
