Any suggestions ?

I've set screen lock to unlock with my LG g watch. I've noticed that it's turned itself off several times now, and reverted to swipe unlock. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

compatibility or firmware bug can cause this kindda issue.
so try repairing xperia firmware by PC companion
:good:
I've just replaced the screen on my friends S5 Pro and currently don't have a working FP sensor. I've double checked and the sensor is seated correctly and there is nothing obscuring its little window on the screen.
I want to recalibrate the sensor, but cannot find a way to do this. All of the useful dialer hidden codes are disabled. It might be that doing a factory reset or re-flashing the full firmware would trigger the sensor to calibrate itself, however my friend spent days getting everything just how he likes things and says he'd rather live without the sensor than have to set everything up again and doesn't trust non-root backup solutions to work properly. He doesn't want to unlock his bootloader, so rooting is out of the question.
Does anyone know of any way to get into some kind of engineering mode on this phone to be able to force a fingerprint sensor calibration?

The fingerprint sensor went completely over the cuckoo's nest in my Umidigi S5 Pro for no apparent reason, now I can't use it at all. Any ideas?
Same thing happened to me shortly after an OTA update if I remember correctly... any luck with a fix thus far?
I have a rooted Indian version of OnePlus 8T.
Everytime I try to change my device props to Pixel props via directly flashing the pixel props file or using "Magisk Hide Props" module - the display brightness breaks.
While the lock screen is still okay and the brightness behaves normally but as soon as you unlock the phone it goes too dim. Sliding the brightness panel doesn't do anything and neither does disabling adaptive brightness. I've stumbled across months old posts about someone having the same issue with Oneplus 8 Pro but didn't find any solution there either.
Please, anyone let me know if you can somehow get around those problems?
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you find any solution. It seems that it breaks the highest available brightness on the device . I am not sure how to enable that
Hey,
Does anyone got a chance to have a fix for this? I have the same issue with a oneplus 8, and i can't find any solution yet..
Removing the "system.props" from the module breaks the feature of the module

I actually do have a *partial* solution to this. If you were changing the fingerprint to enable call screening or call recording in Google Phone, then the solution is to use Google Dialer Mod instead. It's a root app that has toggles which literally allow you to turn on Call Screening, Call Recording, and pretty much any other Google Phone feature you'd want to enable. No fingerprinting necessary. If you were trying to get other pixel mods, unfortunatley I have no answer to that.
Hello, today I was using my phone with no problem. Suddenly it got stuck and I had to reboot it. Okay, then the fingerprint sensor stops working, it does not appear in the settings either, like the phone doesn't have a sensor at all. I don't understand. Looking for a solution a lot of people had the same problem and a hard reset didn't solve their problem.
Anyone knows a solution? I getting tired of Motorola.
Hello there,
So my Xperia 5 lately has fingerprint scanner issue that won't respond to my fingerprints (on fingerprint sensor test it says 'Sensor Not OK'). This issue can be solved by restarting the phone (it's simple tips but take a lot of time for me). Does anyone know how to fix/reboot the fingerprint service on system without restarting the phone? Thanks
Regards
I had same issue. But after couple weeks with this problem my fingerprint scanner broke permanently. I dont think there is a solution for that. Tried to ask in many places.

Does the Fingerprint Manager menu disappear from the setting? If not, your fingerprint scanner still has a chance to work again. Try to restart the device again after several weeks.

Thx for Your advice but it is not true. Sony had problem with fingerprint sensor in Xperia 5 MK1
Xperia 5 Fingerprint Manager missing from settings
Hi Recently I've encountered problems with my fingerprint manager. Since the update it has completely gone from my settings menu on my Xperia 5. I spoke to someone from the team and they suggested backing up my phone and software repairing my phone. This didn't help one bit. And also erased...
