i flashed the stock images but after reboot, i did not have any service. it said it was activating but after a while it gave an error. :crying:
Are you sure it's not a sim card issue? Use your simcard in another device and see if it works.. Also, use any other simcard on your device and see if you get a signal..
If you're out of luck, then perform a factory reset from the stock recovery and see whether it helps?

Suddenly my nexus shows this message: Emergency calls only.
and I can't call anybody and can't receive calls.
After the problem occurred I tried to reinstall the rom, tried to change rom, to change radio, kernel.
Tried to perform factory reset, tried to format the whole phone, including sd.
Tried to restore an old backup.
Nothing seems to be working...
I read somewhere that it might be something wrong with the efs folder or IMEI...
I really don't know how to fix this problem.

Check your IMEI bellow battery and compare it with IMEI info in OS. If those two are different then it could be IMEI problem...
I have that problem, but fortunately my Nexus is still kicking...
this is happening to me too
i'm with mobilicity... left the city and the phone connected to Rogers roaming..
now i'm back, phone doesn't connect back to mobilicity... just gives me "emergency calls only"
tried flashing roms, radios, kernels, pull battery, checked imei... i'm stumped.
i swear the only thing i haven't tried is restoring to stock completely

I was on stock then i flashed miui and when it asked for my pin for my sim i put it in and it just says and unlocking sim and wont work. I flashed cm7 and it still didnt work. Everytime i try to restore to stock it says error while flashing boot image.
How do i fix this?
I got a similar problem, the phone hangs with cm7 and says unlocking. Any solution for this?
Try This: Do you have access to another phone? Put your sim in it, boot up, unlock with your sim. Then go to settings/security and turn off the pin lock for the sim card. Shut down phone and put the sim back in your Infuse.

My phone doesnt connect to my SIM card. the system works normalle. but i have no network (2g, 3g. wlan works). when checking my baseband version, it says "unknown" and i cant get into recovery mode
what happend there? its not rooted or anything....can this be fixed? i mean...everything else works normally

Insert a different sim card. if that doesn't work you may have a faulty device, but let's not jump to any conclusions just yet. Check with you're network that you have, probably their towers are down.
If you have/will unlock the bootloader, you could try using a restore to stock to rewrite the baseband and see if that helps. Best to know what you're doing.
problem solved:
i hate the nexus´ recovery screen. whatever....got there, wiped cache (it said it couldnt mount cache ) => after reformating cache everything works fine=)
All of a sudden my OPO started to show No service. But it detects the sim and imei shows a valid value. Wifi works properly but the neither calls nor data. Once rebooted the device shows Airplane mode when power button is long pressed but it is not shown in the home screen. It was running the latest OTA. I tried
* deleting APN and loading the defaults
* trying to turn on the radio via *#*#4636#*#*
* flashing the latest OTA via recovery
* flashing the latest factory image via fastboot
* flashing an old factory image via fastboot
* flashing an old modem via fastboot
none of those methods worked.
Please help me to bring my OPO to normal condition. Thank you.

Hey have you found a solution? My opo started yesterday afternoon running into a lot of issues with service connection and then just no service all the time. I tried most of the things you did and no luck went to tmobile and they didn't help much but gave me new sim which seemed to help some. I have some connection outside but soon as I walk indoors the internet drops to g or edge barely ever lte. And my connection is spotty. Its only been few hours with new sim so I'll see tomorrow if same issue persists.

I have the exact same issue as you and I haven't yet been able to find a fix.
I've tried absolutely everything including:
- Changing the modem
- Wiping the phone completely and reinstalling my Rom
- Trying every other Rom out for the OnePlus One.
- Reverting back to the Stock CM11 Rom that came with the phone.
Nothing helped my issue. My phone would just go from 4g in some places to 2g in others, And sometimes I wouldn't even be able to get a signal, it would just say "No Signal" or "No Data Sim"
I had similar problem few weeks ago, but also my sim card was not detected... My solution was to flash twrp 2.8.0.6 and flash OxygenOS TWRP compatible . This one https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24385658843824180 and after that everything has started working, IMEI , APN settings , sim card, and data worked... and after that you can flash whatever you will. And remember , always make a nandroid backup . Backups are real life savers out there. Let me know if that helped in your case.
I've just tried it. No success, same issue persisted. Not a big fan of oxygenOS anyway.

I'm going to try this now praying it works. Have had no luck with anything so far. ill let you know.
update....same result barely any signal at house...weak signal when i go to work. really have no clue.
planning on trying different new network(cricket) instead of tmo
I added around 10 e-sims in total and it was working fine. last time i added an e-sim i don't know if it is fully compatible and it worked no problem i restarted the phone and at the top network bar i saw that it says invalid card - only emergency calls and tried to choose another sim it wouldn't let me choose it wouldn't let me delete sims, it wouldn't let me add a new sim did not allow. There was a problem restart your phone I was seeing the error. I restarted the phone and the problem was not solved. I reset the network settings, hard reset the phone and installed a new stock rom, but the problem is not solved. After installing new rom, when I try to add new esim it says EID not found. How can i solve this problem. The device is an unlocked device
