Y0 guys, this is NOT my build, but here is a topic for the official nightlies.
I'm not developing this, just an open topic for it. :good:

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Is this something new? Have we not had this ROM all along?

I'm glad to see a dedicated thread to a great rom but I think you should put the link to the official gapps from google and as an alternative to Banks Gapps.. else, we all know about Xposed, isn't necessary mix things up.
Ps. some screenshots would be good..
Enviado desde mi GT-N7100 mediante Tapatalk

You're right @Prowler , removed the bit about Xposed.
Will add the screenshots when I get home.
Added the GAPPS link from CM wiki site.

@jcrompton Haven't seen a topic for the official CM11 builds yet..
Also, there have only been a few builds from official CM website.

there are nightlies more or less every night with a few exceptions. such exceptions ( failded builds etc. ) happen for all devices
and during the last week of the month CM is forking for M-builds so they have perhaps a day or two with other priorities.
however, as mentioned, nightlies are coming and are usually full of commits so if you go an see omni where were no commits
for a week at least and pac ? they did not even update their website yet. so CM at the moment is the fastest developing and
most stable rom for this device IMHO
enjoy even more and complain a bit less JK

Just out of curiosity - are you using stock kernel with CM11? And which Xposed modules are you using?

i'm using cm kernel on n7100 since the available custom kernels for that device are giving me too often a headache and
there is nothing important to tweak for me there which does not work well on cm's kernel.
on the other hand i'm most of the time going with elementalX kernel on the nexus 5 and with franco's on the nexus 4
because i need the color tweaks on those devices. sometimes i slightly overclock but that's not giving me any
wow experience over stock settings. what is helpful is fast-charge in it's variations, specially on the motorbike
with navi, bluetooth music, radardroid and sceen on at all times but these are very individual needs.
so in short, i'm happy with the cm kernel on n7100 after having tried all available custom kernels and i would
not really like my nexuses with their stock display colors.
as to the xposed modules:
- appsettings for per app dpi change and more
- xblast for sticking "custom boot animation", bluetooth tweak,
..lock screen rotation, rare build.prop tweaks etc. just to name some of the unique specials
- greenify for it's obvious purpose to greenify system apps etc.
- android tuner to tune almost every aspect of the device, it's so much that you have to read for yourself.
- sometimes gravitybox, i change between xblast and gbox since depending on cm's habit to break things
..from time to time one or the other works a bit better until both are updated after such events and xbox
..can make my custom boot animation stick upon flashing cm updates.
on the note 2 i'm on latest nightlies and on the nexus 5 i'm on M5

Battery
I know the question of battery with TW vs CM has been discussed over and over but I thought I would ask again:
In the last 4 or 5 days I have tried a couple of non TW ROMs ( mainly because I have found that the Camera now lets me import pics / deposits of checks into my banking apps :good: where for the longest time the non TW ROMs were not allowing this )
I have found some weird battery issues. With the first ROM I tried the battery seemed ok but then all of sudden I started getting bursts of drain where the phone would get a bit hot and drain 20% in a 30 minutes or so (while screen off, btw ). I was using AGNI kernel.
So for the last 24 hrs or so I have been trying the CM11 official (here). Phone off charger at 6:30 AM and already down to 80% battery by 8:30 AM - no specific wakelocks and very little use. I'm on the stock kernel now.
From your experience are the CM ROMs still significantly worse on battery (vs TW ROMs) ? do they settle down more after a few days use ? are most using stock kernel or custom ? (thanks @magnamentis for sharing experience already)

just for you to consider

hi, i see you ask a lot of questions which is good, finally this is what this is all about.
i just recognized that you very sparsely if ever use the thanks button for those who take the effort to answer you and
sooner or later this will show to your disadvantage.
i write this because i just did not feel like answering after i recognized that fact and there will be others. it's about motivation and good style you know

No worries - I'm not sure why you feel compelled to give a lesson etiquette for this forum. I always thank someone if they have helped but I don;t think the thanks button is to be used merely because someone replies to a question or comment. But if it that big a deal to you to gain thanks count I will try to go in each day and find one of your posts and click the thanks button so you will get what you seek.
Edit
Please notice @magnamentis that I have used all of my thanks for today for YOU !!!! THANK YOU for a reply that btw was not particularly helpful to me OR the forum

Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for any damages on your device.
After having a good response for some months in the i9100 thread, @fusionjack decided to share this build with n7000. And now I build it for Samsung Galaxy S 4G a.k.a galaxys4gmtd.
This build is compiled using SaberMod toolchain and like the official one, it is built derived from the same source: Slimroms github. @fusionjack could cherry-pick some commits ahead from Slim team or patches from other repositories that he finds useful.
The ROM and the kernel are tested by me first before I make it available online. I could have overseen something during testing, please be understand.
In summary, it is still Slimkat that is compiled with SaberMod toolchain.
!!! Please don't discuss these unofficial builds in the official thread. User can get confuse easily. !!!
Additional changes
Compiled with a custom toolchain Sabermod for more performance and better battery life.
Compiled with the most GCC optimization level -O3.
Compiled with strict-aliasing compiler optimization.
Added 40+ patches to fix GCC strict-aliasing violation rules.
Added ARMv7 and Cortex-A8 optimized string handling routines for more smoothness and more memory optimization.
Added some AOSP fixes and improvements.
Added some VanirAOSP fixes and improvements.
Added patches from AOSP for better ART performance.
Added Active Display and Network Usage from ChameleonOS. Not yet available on kitkat.
Disabled SQLite fsync to increase I/O performance.
Installation instructions
Coming from 4.1.x or 4.2.x or 4.3.x or another ROM to 4.4.x:

OK, this is what is working for me to go to/from Team Acid CM9 and has been pretty reliable so far:
Make sure you have backups of /efs put away somewhere safe!
From JB or ICS (make full backups first, at least TWRP and hopefully Titanium Backup or equivalent as well)
Reboot recovery
Install this ROM
Reboot recovery
Advanced Wipe; /system, /data, /cache
Install this ROM - again
Make TWRP backups
Reboot
Once you have TWRP backups of your "target" build, you can flip/flop reasonably easily
Reboot recovery
Restore TWRP backup of Boot of target build
Reboot recovery
Advanced Wipe; /system, /data, /cache
Restore TWRP backups of target build
Boot into target
This should work as long as /efs and /radio haven't moved.

Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
Flash the unofficial build.
No need to re-flash gapps. Gapps will be restored back automatically by backup tool during flashing.
Known Issues
Booting into ART mode takes time, be patient. As some users reported, ART won't work if you are using xposed framework. See xposed thread for more information.

Help!!! Root doesn't work!!! What should I do???
From a clean build you need to enable root access for Superuser itself. This is different from 4.2.2 in which Superuser by default had root access on a new install. To do this, go to Settings -> Developer options -> Root access. If an app attempts to request root access before Superuser itself has access, it may cause problems with that app in the future where root requests are silently denied.

What is the difference between these builds and the official builds?
Short version: It is unofficial nightly builds whereas official one is stable and weekly builds.
Long version: It is built using the same source (github) like the official one but with these following additional changes:
Compiled using SaberMod 4.9 & SaberMod 4.7 toolchain combo.
Contains some cherry-pick commits. See changelog for more details.
Faster? Smoother? Here are some responses from users: rkoby13, rkoby13, rkoby13, kroz, MarioFan1998, alkspo, vladimirheroj, bodzik155
What is Toolchain?
In software, a toolchain is the set of programming tools that are used to create a product (typically another computer program or system of programs). The tools may be used in a chain, so that the output of each tool becomes the input for the next, but the term is used widely to refer to any set of linked development tools.
A simple software development toolchain consists of a compiler and linker to transform the source code into an executable program, libraries to provide interfaces to the operating system, and a debugger. A complex product such as a video game needs tools for preparing sound effects, music, textures, 3-dimensional models, and animations, and further tools for combining these resources into the finished product.

What is SaberMod?
The term "SaberMod" is coming from:
SaberMod is a AOSP based ROM with some extra features added in and mostly from CyanogenMod. SaberMod started out pure AOSP when android 4.2.1 launched. Originally it was pure AOSP with a few extra features I ported over from CyanogeMod and linaro optimizations. Then I rebased everything off of rasbeanjelly because I liked many features found in rasbean. Since then I've modified a lot of the code so not much of it is rasbeanjelly based anymore. But you will still find some commonly used features found in rasbeanjelly. SaberMod is not a rasbeanjelly or CM clone, or KANG. Custom kernels are included for certain devices when available. These are personal builds we make for ourselves and originally became very popular in the nexus 7 forums. Features are very rarely added, and are built to SaberMod's team members liking. Currently there are two members of SaberMod working on this project. Myself and @jarjar124 . Please understand our time is limited and we are only two people who have lives, and do not have 25-50 members like CyanogenMod to add things. And our goal is not to add a bunch of features that bloat the system of the ROM.

I haven't had any reboot/soft reboot or freeze on my Mom's phone and ART is working more superb and conversion time is faster than the Official build ^^. No camera whacky, no severe problem so far. Anyone can, just try to reproduce the issues tho and I want to know if they'r gone or not, too. Just backup and flash it .
BTW, even if it doesn't have or has those issues, I will still close the other thread and maintain this only cause this is built with Linaro/SaberMod plus has various of patches for ART compares to official one so just build this only as well to save my time and resources.

OMG i am happy to see this rom
now i hv moved to GS3
their is not any fully bug fixed rom but S4G have(other then residual bug)
Farewell !!
Thank You !!!
While I moved to the Note 3 as my main phone a few months ago, I'm keeping around the GSG4G as a music player. Just flashed this and while I'm having the usual "Why do you do this to me! I have no space!" issues right after flashing due to Google wanting to restore 100 apps or so, I haven't had any other issues yet.
Thanks for keeping this phone awesome.

Thanks man! And since Slim hasn't released their inverted gapps so I would recommend using gapps core as it's ok to flash . Ok so if this is stable enough, next stop is trying to fix video playback (idk what is the cause for this) and better entropy tweaks enabling in kernel . There is also an advance option in settings>storage for switching/swapping the internal and external but it's FC on our phone so let's see what I can do about it

As per usual, Mounts2SD still works great with this. Just wondering... when the switching causes the FCs, do you have the sd-ext formatted in a way that would work with Mounts2SD or another similar program?

Dust off my old phone as I decided to try this word great thanks for your work . I had one problem when I flash the slim minimal - gapps I got lots of force close with android system but the core gapps posted by Dragnzklaw work great.

Dao, I gave up on ART as the space limitation simply would not work with the apps I wanted to install, and that I use regularly, even moving everything I could to the SD Card. That said, Dalvik Mode seems to be working just as fast as ART, and not had a single reboot related crash as best I can tell after pretty heavy use for 24 hours. Thanks for the awesome work! I even installed Xposed Framewwork and have not seen any issues. Fingers crossed, but am thinking you can call the reboot issue fixed.

By using the ROM you agree with the above terms!
Click on the thanks button to their posts!
Dao Thanh Duy ( @daothanhduy1996 ), first and foremost for his contributions to the NILTMT kernel, providing his device and kernel source trees and for having done such a good job that I had almost no problems compiling cm-11.0 with them. His help has also been essential to figuring out issues on IRC. This ROM would not have been possible without him
The Cyanogenmod team and everyone who has contributed to the project. I merely ported their ROM, they receive all your thanks.
Brian ( @sunsurfer42 ) for this extremely generous donation of TWO dev phones in addition to 2 extra batteries. He even refused when I offered to pay for shipping. This ROM would not be available to you guys without him.
Rick ( @GFX.myst. ) for providing the awesome graphics for our team and this thread! He even made us a new CM11 Unofficial logo
David LaMontagne ( @DJLamontagneIII ) for his awesome kernel source
@JustArchi for his optimizations and his Linaro repositories which were used in the making of this ROM
@Beastmode for the source code he left with us. At one point he was the only active developer for this phone. I still miss seeing his contributions (Proton Kernel anyone?)
@bhundven , @jeffsf , @m4xm4n , @AntonX , and @RaverX3X for all the time and effort they put into this phone. We're still using their source code to this day
Features:
Missing non-essential apps such as wallpapers to free up space in the /system partition
Android KitKat 4.4.4 built from source with the latest updates
Compiled with Linaro 4.7 using -O2 optimizations on both the THUMB and ARM targets. This means that most of the ROM, not just the kernel, receive these optimizations
Debloated, removed a bunch of wallpapers, the NFC, Torch and Video Editor apps
Issues:
All of the Aries bugs still plaguing this phone, including:
Charging animation broken
No smooth HD video recording
TV out not tested
Won't make your phone have a quad core processor
If you're still on Gingerbread or older, follow lumin's guide here. You need CWM 5 with the blue text:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21953878&postcount=2
Once you have blue CWM5, just flash the ROM. It will automatically continue flashing using TWRP once your phone restarts. After the flash is done the phone will continue to boot into CM11, no need for a 2nd flash.
If you're already on any ROM newer than ICS, just follow the instructions below.
Download the ROM and optionally gapps and put them on your SD Card
Make a backup of your current ROM and apps using both Titanium backup and with TWRP/CWM.
Do a factory reset (full wipes for safety)
Flash the ROM and gapps
Wait another 5 minutes after you see your phone boot fully. This will let all the dust settle.
If you are upgrading from an older build of this ROM, you can probably get away with dirty flashing (not doing a factory reset between flashes) but if you run into any issues, do a full phone wipe (wipe system, data and cache) then flash the new version of the ROM.
Team Acid strives to remain compliant to the GPL. We provide the full sources to our ROMs here:

To build CM11 follow the official Cyanogenmod guide for the vibrantmtd here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_vibrantmtd
MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE vibrantmtd FOR galaxys4gmtd WHEN FOLLOWING THE STEPS FOR THE GUIDE
You will also need the local manifests which you can find here:

To learn how to use a local manifest, check Cyanogenmod's guide here:

EDIT: Worked like a charm. Thanks FB.
All works perfect for me so far. I was running Beanstalk and that thread got shut down by the mods so I am glad you are developing for the S 4G. I still use this phone for my gym mp3 player (Wolfson DAC!!!)/wifi device/backup phone. It's nice to see old devices to get some love.

What is the button press sequence to get a screen capture (screenshot) on this ROM? TIA
---------- Post added at 10:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:55 AM ----------
One minor bug to report: When I went into "Settings" then "Display & Lights" then "Advanced Settings" I received a blank screen for a few sec then "Unfortunately, Advanced Settings has stopped." Had to force close "Settings" after that.
For the screen capture go to Settings>Buttons>Power Menu
Thank you for great ROM :good::good:
Yea, this ROM is bada**. It has brought new life to a worn down tired old phone. By far the best ROM that has ever been made for our little SGS4G. Mine had become stagnant as an every day daily, but now with this new life injected into it, I'm going to just keep rolling with it till it actually dies. Thanks Team Acid!!!!

2 things, are you on the latest 0623 version? (I had issues with previous versions) Also, did you flash the new version 5 Play Services? I found that it is a battery killer. I flashed the updated services and then downgraded back to 4.4, and have insane battery life. Not sure what it up with services, but the new version just drains terribly.
If all else fails, do a factory wipe and reflash both the ROM and Gapps and see if it fixes it. Take a look at your Battery Profile and see what is using your juice. (Also install Greenify if you have not already)

Kernel source
Kernel Source for flo[/CENTER]
Notes & F.A.Q.
Q: Can I use the Screw'd kernel with other ROMs?
A: Technically yes, but why would you do that? The Screw'd kernel is a lightly modded kernel and was implemented specifically for the Screw'd ROM. It will work on AOSP ROMs, but not CM-based ROMs. I feel if you want a custom kernel, then go all out and flash ElementalX or Glitch or faux123's kernel. They have more mods than Screw'd kernel will ever have.
Q: Can you add (insert feature here) from (insert other ROM here) so it can be more like (insert other ROM here)?
A: If they have their source posted, then probably. If I feel it's needed or beneficial to performance then I'll consider it. One thing to remember is that I build this to suit my needs first, and it's release to the public for those who want to use it, but take it as it is. If you want Screw'd to be more like (insert other ROM here) then maybe you should use (insert other ROM here). Screw'd is.................different.
Q: How can I build this myself for another device that I own?
A: Screw'd is completely open-sourced. If you want to build for another device then you can start at my Github manifest page. Remember, it'll be up to you to make the source work with your device, and any device related support from me will be somewhat limited. If you want to be an official device maintainer then let me know.

Your first link takes you to your Hammerhead build. (easy enough to find the Flo builds of course and I've downloaded both anyway as it would be rude not to!). Also, does this have the advanced reboot menu? (its the only optional extra I'm actually bothered about in a rom) Ta.

Sorry about that, tried making 2 threads at the same time.
Links are fixed, and Advanced Reboot is added to the features list.
Don't think I've tried any of your work before, but most impressed with this ROM...
No video playback issues (using chromecast as I'm typing this), afaik the first lollipop rom with full custom init.d options etc.
All in all, very good work...?
at the moment runs great, smooth and fast...

Thank you.
I came out of retirement in July when I released Exodus. XDA will not acknowledge me as an "out of retirement" dev yet for whatever reason. But with two ROMs w/ custom kernels, supporting two devices, and 6 months of development, i think it's safe to assume I'm out of retirement.

Finally! An official AOKP! I was just wondering if a custom kernel would work here? synergy kernel perhaps
I can't guarantee that it would, but this rom uses the exact same kernel as lineage, so any kernel that works with lineage should work here. If you try it out, let me know
wow thanks

Currently there are no custom kernels that do work with LineageOS, because of changes in RIL libs location on 5.11, so any build after that date will only work with stock kernel.
please add the rom screenshots and tell us the features of rom,

Ah ok. I haven't looked into any custom kernels on the hlte. I use my wife's phone for testing, so not a lot of chance to test stuff like that.
[Clarification]
Another point that I just thought of (it's very early lol); If you DO find a kernel that works with Lineage/AOKP, I don't accept bug reports from people running custom kernels. Too many variables to account for in debugging.

There are a few screenshots, if you click on the screenshots tab at the top. I will add more later. As far as features, it's AOKP. AOKP's website can give you a decent overview of the features. I may add a feature list later. If I have time. As far as s-pen support goes, not yet. S-pen currently only works on stock to the best of my knowledge.
[Update]
It appears that Lineage has added at least partial s-pen/stylus gestures support. I'm looking into pulling that support over to AOKP. NO ETAS!
[Update 2]
I added a short feature list. And more screenshots. For further info, refer to the AOKP site posted above.

Currently there are no custom kernels that do work with LineageOS, because of changes in RIL libs location on 5.11, so any build after that date will only work with stock kernel.

Would you have any idea on which changes exactly we're looking at?
I'm on RRN 5.8.5 CHN version but with "no sim" issues since the last 2 releases even on stock kernel, just wondering if AOPK has the same issue. Note that my device is a China model SM-N9008V Qualcomm CPU
Thanks for the feedback

I gave up on hlte for a long time before I began working on AOKP for hlte. I use my wife's phone as a guinea pig (I own an AT&T LG G4), and I was compiling LOS for her. Around May or June, all of the LOS builds started giving me "no sim" grief. I pored through LOS kernel and device tree changes, and couldn't come up with anything. Then, about a month ago, I started digging again. The "no sim" issue, at least in my case, was caused by LOS upgrading the firmware that they build in to their ROM. The new firmware requires a modem update. Flashed the latest modem, and problem solved. I can't guarantee that your "no sim" issue is the same, but it is a good place to start. Also, please note that I have NOT tested these builds on anything but an SM-N9005 International unlocked GSM variant, as that is all I have access to.

Thanks for the feedback, problem is i'm already on the latest modem (China ... :crying: not the most updating country around). Anyway i keep hoping and checking also with Lineage OS devs, so with a bit of luck We need to stay optimist here. If i doesn't get solved then maybe i turn to a non lineage based rom if they are still around.
Thanks a lot!! Good luck with AOPK :good::good:
sm-n900p (SPRINT) user here. I've run AOKP on my galaxy nexus before my note 3. I always enjoyed the built in options and smoothness of AOKP. And once again AOKP knocked it out tha park on first nougat build for us! It even works on my picky n900p without needing to set any APN or network settings. Full LTE, SMS, MMS access upon first boot after flashing ROM + nano gapps! That's a rarity these days! I can't say thanks enough. I seriously have been thinking about getting a new phone since all other ROMS I have saved or even "new" ones were all starting to have little quirks or data was near impossible to get to work (mainly those ports) even after flashing apn setting .zips in recovery (I have a few mvno zips and one I made just for sprint).
However, after the magical pink unicorn boot animation closed and the system began running, I instantly had LTE service. Thanks so much! I haven't upgraded because honestly I don't think a better over-all device has been made since the note 3. Features keep disappearing with only marginal increases in performance that for a while (gotten a lil better lately) was negated by bloated ui overlays.
I can't believe I finally have official AOKP on my n900p and it ran flawless on 1st try. =)
Awesome! Glad to hear man. I'll update the op to reflect a confirmation for n900p
Considering how hard I've been both working followed by partying hard (i work retail....everyday that I survive is a miracle), I'm sure I'm just overlooking these features. I apologize if I just overlooked these. If they're not there, is there a way to request it/them to be added to AOKP chain?
1. Is there a way to turn on battery bar on home screen especially since my battery % icon I've been using occasionally disappears (weird one, never witnessed that before). Not a big deal but I always preferred a thin battery bar at the top. 1 less thing in my status bar.
2. Am I just missing it or is there a way to set a specific app launch to long press of left capactive button or better yet for consistency reasons, ability to choose specific apps for long press on any of the 3 buttons on the bottom? I only see options for pre-set android actions, not an option to choose an app to launch.
3. Is there or ever will be a theme engine or maybe substratum support?
I'm gonna rock this ROM regardless, just 3 of my top fav features that I haven't found yet. Figured I'd ask since knowing me, I just missed the option somewhere.
For the first two, I'm honestly not sure. I know that they are not implemented. As far as getting them added, I'm just getting my feet wet on maintaining a device, and I know that TeamKang is working on Oreo bring up, so I wouldn't hold my breath on them getting in any time soon. Maybe once Oreo work settles down a bit it can be looked at.
OMS/Substratum support is already built in. Just download the Substratum app from the play store, and any themes you want as well. My wife is running J-Ice Substratum theme on her SM-N9005 right now.

Thanks man. Ya, I ain't holding my breath that this device will get Oreo builds but I'm happy since this is the most stable/feature packed nougat ROM that I've been able to run on my n900p without jumping through hoops.
Thanks again for everything. Wasn't trying to add requests to your plate. I also didn't even think about the fact Oreo is here so of course all the larger teams have moved their focus to that build. I just thought maybe I missed the first 2 items I mentioned since almost any aosp/cm/lineage/sammy based rom have those features nowadays. No biggie. I can survive without.
Can't say thanx enough man which is why i maxxed out my "thanks" button on you today. =)
Well, again, no promises or ETAs, but I am going to work on getting Oreo for hlte. I already let TeamKang know I would work on the Oreo bring up when they made me device maintainer. But I have a few other things I'm trying to get pulled in first (s-pen), and I'm waiting a bit to see how Oreo bring up on lineage works out for hlte. Anyway, thanks for the support! Its nice to be able to share my work (what little I do, lol) with someone besides family and friends.
Nice rom

Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now actually LOS based.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LOS team, if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't LOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
In the beginning we would like to thank:

We are now paying for servers that build nightlies/weeklies and everything that comes with it, so EVERY DONATION will really be appreciated and be used to cover those expenses.
Thank you!!
Download - https://mega.nz/#F!e5xE0LbZ!5ade0jdwiR_QKy1DFPwfNA (latest will always be marked LATEST in event of multiple same-day builds)
Download link contains a folder with 8.1 GApps, a working modded GCam and other files. They are there for convenience. You can find them all on other XDA threads.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it, and go!
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!
TWRP is the recommended custom recovery - This version is required
Wipe system/data
Flash ROM
Flash GApps (do not install the STOCK package)
Flash Magisk (found in the extras folder from the download link)
Flash the latest firmware (found in the extras folder from the download link)
Kernel
Device tree
Device common
Vendor files
Camera
This is a WIP UNOFFICIAL build of AICP for Oreo. I'm sharing it only until the official builds arrive. Use at your own risk. DO NOT send bug reports/issues to the official G+ page or elsewhere. Keep them all here please.
Note - I am not a dev. I simply built the ROM. Any fixes (aside from very trivial ones) will need to come from updates to Lineage/AICP themselves, which I can merge into any future builds.
Many thanks to Psy_Man. This build wouldn't be anywhere near as functional without his guidance.

I've been using for 24 hours now, as with other Oreo build's the battery life isn't quite up to nougat standards, great for an early build, all the aicp tweaks are working flawlessly, no camera problem front or back, keep up the good work will donate when I get home, thanks Gavin.

Good news - I heard back from the official maintainer of the Nougat builds and they said they'll be migrating to Oreo very soon.

Yeah I donated when the it was the only ROM with working speaker switching, used it ever since, so had my money's worth.
Thank you very much . Seems everything is working so far. Great Job!

Great job, thank to Gevin for his efforts and Psy for help. We finally get good Oreo builds for Mix, it's make many people happy.
Awesome!! I can confirm that this is great! Hopefully the proximity sensor issue gets resolved shortly then it will be perfect. Also is there a Dolby Atmos compatible with Oreo and this device yet?
Also I can confirm that I dirty flashed this over the Nougat AICP, flashed GApps and Magisk and absolutely no issues whatsoever apart from Proximity.

If you follow the download link you'll find a link to an Atmos there in the extras folder that works. I tried several different ones and none of them would flash or if they did, they'd crash. The only caveat is that you'd need a USB mouse and an adapter to hook it up to the phone. The reason is that it will only flash properly (or at least for me) with TWRP 3.2.x (again, in the extras folder), but touch is broken with that version, hence why you need the mouse to start adb sideload mode in TWRP.
The method is
1. Connect phone to PC/laptop
2. Open terminal and run 'fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-lithium.img' to temporarily boot in 3.2.1 without flashing it
3. Disconnect phone from PC and connect the mouse
3. In TWRP, go into Advanced > ADB Sideload and start it
4. Disconnect mouse from phone and connect to PC
5. Run 'adb sideload [8.0-8.1]DolbyAtmosOreo-20180205.zip'
Messy, but it works. Maybe there are some Oreo Atmos zips out there that will flash (and work) in TWRP 3.1.x but I couldn't find any.
@gavin19, thks for delivering this ROM to the community for our Mi Mix. To confirm, I know you state in the OP the ROM has everything needed to flash along with the Gasps but in the "Extras" folder does the firmware need to be flashed in addition to the ROM or not? Just want to be sure I understand since with the Nougat AICP it requires flashing to fix the No Sound, Lag problems that occurred.

That specific firmware isn't required but something 8.1.4 and above I believe is. I keep a bunch of firmwares here. I had 8.1.25 installed already before I started playing around with Oreo so I can't confirm that anything else than that will work 100%.

Excellent! I'll be sticking with 8.1.25 firmware to flash then. Any recommendations on a good compatible kernel to go along or rather all is well in battery and performance out of the box?

I believe Psy_Man and the Floppy kernel author are working on Oreo kernels. There are Floppy ones already out there but they are still buggy (at least those I tried). I'm keen for an updated Psychedelic kernel too but I'm sticking with the stock one (Lineage) for now.
Performance is a bit sluggish initially (Pixel Experience users have reported similar) but now it's as smooth as Nougat AICP, having used to for ~48 hours. I'm amazed at how well it runs with practically everything working. I have made the same kernel tweaks as I always do (within the bounds of this kernel), and I've deleted the thermal-engine file from /system/vendor/bin (I do this regardless of ROM as I find it lets the device perform better).
Battery I haven't really monitored because I've been flashing different ROMs. In general, I don't care about battery life with my phones as I'm almost always near a charge-point, but I don't believe it's quite up there with Nougat yet. There are some changes in Oreo related to power-saving but I don't know if these are Oreo-specific or ROM-specific, like no more battery profiles (saver/balanced/perf etc) and no ability to set auto-start for apps. One other thing I didn't try was xposed, but I assume it'd work fine (it does in Pixel Experience), so Greenify should be an option to help with battery life.

I went back to ViperOS w/Psychedelic kernel because I simply love the stability and features of it. I am going to give this AICP Oreo one a try and test it out for a couple days. In regards to the Oreo kernel, I will stick with stock until something comes out stable and sufficient. Thanks again @gavin19 :highfive:
