I've created an app to view and slightly modify Google Tasks from the smartwatch! Here's a link to the description. Post here with any problems or suggestions.

Purchased straight away as was wanting this type of app. After installing on my note 3 message "Sorry but Tiny Tasks has closed", the purchase got automatically refunded by the Play Store (???), tried installing again but same message and no longer possible to get refund as 15 min had passed.
Any ideas?

I got your crash report. I'll look into this. For now the app is removed from the store.
The problem didn't show up in my daily phone that I developed with, but I found an old phone and installed smart connect etc and was able to reproduce and fix the issue. I've republished the app and it should be available again within a few hours.

Fine updated app and is working perfectly!
Thanks for the quick fix!
I just installed this and it's really nice and quick. I like that it lows to power mode screen so I can see the task or list when it goes inactive. A couple requests from my initial use:
- Multi-account support. I have tasks for work and personal accounts I'd love to switch back and forth between.
- It appears to be pulling in completed tasks as well. Could you have an option to hide completed tasks?
I'll post more ideas here as I keep using it. Thanks!

These are good ideas. I'll put them on my list.

When you open the App it would be a good idea to open the last Task List that was used previously.
Otherwise one has to always re-select the task list, of course this also means adding a menu to go back to the task list

Also a good idea. The back button takes you back up the hierarchy.

I've added 2 requested features:
*ability to start at the last task list or item visible before exiting
*hide/show completed tasks (toggle from watch menu)
The new version should be available in a few hours. Let me know if there's any issues.
Just wondering if it's possible to sync the tasks more frequently than 2 hours?

Accessing the Google Tasks API involves a server request to Google which allows the app to synchronize your tasks on the phone. Google doesn't let just anyone make too many requests though or it would bog down their servers. They give developers a "per day" limit on the number of requests their apps can make. It's a large limit (thousands), but each synchronization requires multiple requests and changing a task from the watch sends another request etc. I'm not sure how many users this app is ultimately going to accumulate, but maybe in a few months I'll add an option to sync more frequently. So far not many people are buying the app every day.
Just out of curiosity, why are you guys needing a smaller sync time than 2 hours? Maybe I can come up with a solution.
Hi,
It is the app I am waiting for a time and it is very nice to have Google task sync on the SW2. I have also Everwatch for Evernote but not same use than task and todo list.
I have a little problem with task list. I have not all my task list on the SW2, only few ot them but not those I want..... Is there a limit ? and how choose task list we want on SW2 ?
I ordered my task list on Google server but SW2 not show them.
Exemple on server I have
and on SW2 I have :
On the other list on watch I have not my list : "04 - A Chercher" even after manual sync.
I choose order "server" so my list and task are same than those on server.
I think font on SW2 are too big and not show sufficient text from list or task

I'll take the font size suggestion into consideration. For the most part I tried to stay similar to the other stock app font sizes.
This may seem a little too obvious, but have you tried scrolling down? I have about 10 task lists myself and they all show up fine. Please email or PM me if this doesn't work and we can debug further.

Yes of course
But, as you can see on the second picture (SW2) it show "15" task lists (status bar in blue), and I have effectively 15 item on the Sony.
As you can see on the first picture (task list from Google server) I have "21" items list so there are a difference between the 15 on SW2 and the 21 real.
If I scroll on Sony I see the 15 but not 21 and not the "02 - A chercher" wich is the fourth on server list as you can see on the snapshot

It looks nice, will have a look at it!
Nice one man, let me know what you think
Wow, this application is fantastic! The options are endless and cover any config for looks or device. I am definitely going to purchase this one.
Great job!
I've been using this app since a long time and I really love it. Before a few weeks, I've bougt the pro version to support the developer.
Everything is working fine, but one thing:
It's terrible to change the theme. It's great to have that function, but I really don't know, what I'm doing there.
Click here, click there, look - no changes. Click there, click here - changes. But why?
The settings are really hard to use. I hope, that you can makes this theming easier for us^^
This is one of the few app I have never uninstalled. I think because it is so darned customizable. and that it has always been actively developed. Glad to be able to check out the newest features. Thanks
One of the few true "must have" Android apps. Thanks for all your hard work!
I've also been using this app for several months. Keep up the good work!
So am i,
I thing i would is like a button on the button or top thats opens agenda,.. or does it have it already and that is missed it?
Keep up youre good work
Gr.
I have compared a bunch of calendar widgets, and I this was the best one . I have been using it for kind of a long time now. I love how efficient it is about space, allowing me to see as much as possible in a limited amount of space. And of course scrolling.
Good job!
I've been using your app for a long time and I love it.
Here's a screenshot of it on my Nexus One:
There is problem with the time on my device. I get tasks from Google Calendar and they start one hour too early. If I got an appointment at 8 it shows as if I got it at 7.
just wanted to say ive been using the pay version of your app for some time on my G2 and I absolutely love it. ive tried almost all the calendar/agenda widgets out there and none come close to yours in customization. big thanks and looking forward to future updates. no bugs here for me so far.
This App has become my new homescreen calander/agenda. I use to use calwidget (great app by the way) by came across agenda widget and fell in love. Love how you can scroll with ADW.
Only complaint is the UI needs some cleanup and tweaking. Took me an hour to get it to look the way I wanted it too.
Example:
Wow that was a lot of replies in no time!
First, thanks to everyone for the kind comments!
I'm glad to continue working on an application people use so much and the positive comments give me motivation to fix the bugs and add new features! I will now reply to the "support" questions in reverse chronological order:

It has this function, you might need to override the date click action in settings->buttons and toolbars. This will become more automatic and easier to set in one or two releases as I have a nice little wizard half written which forces you to choose settings for click actions that will work

This should be fixed in the new version with a preview in the settings?
I was planning to release the free version to the market today (version 1.6.3), if anyone has time to check it doesn't break anything by upgrading the the dev version from the current market version it would be much appreciated!

Nice, that fixed the problem!
I've tried the developer version now and I like the preview setting though i still find the whole color/transparency settings a bit confusing (now you can set the transparency inside the color setting?).
I also think I found a bug here - when you change something "error compiling widget" begins popping up at the top but you probably know.
Keep up the great work.

Yep, someone told me about that.
I am going to change the way the preview works so it can also preview scrolling widgets, once I do this I hope it will automagically fix the weird error compiling widget problem.
I've been using this widget for some time and it is the best agenda widget out there!
Thanks!
I would like to have a separate tasks and agenda widget. This is completely possible except that calendars are global whether 'use global settings' is ticked or not.
I updated to the dev plus version and I've encountered no bugs that haven't already been mentioned. The preview is brilliant saved exiting settings for every change

Hey man,
The calendar list is stored in a database (rather than preferences like everything else) so there is a separate preference to handle the calendar list per widget called "widget calendars independent" in the calendars preference branch. There are some instructions on the wiki that should help.

Great news everybody TimeSwipe now supports tablets!
I created TimeSwipe as a simple way to use timers in a new intuitive way!
TimeSwipe is easy, fast and reliable. Now with support on all tablet sizes, at least 7" and 10"
Well what does it do and how does it do it?
You can use it as a countdown timer or as a stopwatch. You swipe the seekbars to set a time and press start, and now you have got your self a countdown timer. If you dont set a time by using the seekbars, it will start as a stopwatch. Simple? yeah I know.
The timers run in a foreground service and the timers is visible in the notification bar. If you would turn off your phone, or the app craches (god forbid). Then everything is stored and ready to proceed like nothing ever happend on your next launch.
Feature list:
- Phone and tablet support
- Countdown timer
- Stopwatch
- Get notifications in your status bar
- See current timers in your status bar
- The new Android design on all devices from version 2.3.3 Gingerbread
You got pro?
If you get the pro version (which is awesome) you can save and reuse timers, this is really sweet and well worth 1$, since you support me and the development.
With pro you can start multiple countdown timers and stopwatches at the same time, save them, name them and reuse them. It's also ad free, phew.
You got a widget?
Nope.
But it would be a cool feature to add in the future.
Get the app
Download free version on Google Play here.
This is a lite version of TimeSwipe limited to 1 timer.
Website
Please tell me what you think about it and possible enhancements. I'm up for everything
I'm working on it constantly but at this point I'm starting to need some feedback.
Hope you'll like it

I would post in the new thread but it's not up yet. I've been using this app for a couple days and it works great, clean simple interface and easy to use. I love it. I would like it if in the notification bar the timers could be separated out and not say "two timers running". Also the ability to name them would be awesome. I'm always having to set multiple timers at work and this works great.

I cant post in that forum yet since havent been member that long. But I'm glad you like it and are using it daily
I have thought about showing two notifications when running but it cant be done unless I start up two foreground services, and that wouldn't be good for battery, if its even possible. I'm gonna try a workaround to this because I see the benefit of this feature.
I'm thinking of two renaming options:
1. The ability to set a name on a timer just like that.
2. The ability to save timers (with name) and get some history, though this solution would only work for count-down timers.
Thank you for your feedback, this keeps me going for a while In the next update it's possible to change to the dark theme, gonna be released tonight.
The new theme looks nice :good:. Is it possible to kill the alarm sound like a regular alarm? For example, you set the alarm time to go off for 30 seconds it'll keep ringing no matter what for 30 seconds, even after unlocking the phone and deleting the alarm. Sometimes the default 3 seconds isnt enough since it doesn't loop, and you're not in the room. Or if its in your pocket and it keeps ringing for a long time.

Yeah I know about your concerns and I have tried to figure out a good solution to this. Unfortunate you cant create a alertdialog like the built in alarm, since it has to be inside the app. (You dont want an alarm dialog to popup during a game) but maybe I could view a alertdialog when the user is in the app. Or add a stop alarm button.

New version
Hi all
I have updated TimeSwipe free with a few fixes.
I removed the guide when you run the app for the first time.
The alarm should work better now and you can cancel it if you set an alarm interval greater then 4 seconds. This is also better explained in settings now.
I also added the option to not view the current timer in the notification since this updates the notification every second it can start blinking when used with other apps. So its now possible to disable that feature.
I also did a big updated of the paid version.
You can now save and rename your timers, and its super easy to access them from the side menu so you can reuse the timers over and over again. The fixes in the free version also applies on the paid version.
Hope you like the updates, and please give me feedback.
Btw, do you guys think there should be the same functionality in the free version as in the paid, but with ads? What is a good practice here?
Great news everyone!
I just added tablet support which will work on 7" and 10" displays. I also fixed the layout for phones, or rather, people with big phones
I realy hope you will enjoy TimeSwipe on your tablet as much as on your phone.
Keep me posted with feature requests or bug reports.
I updated the thread with a cool image on a tablet aswell

Just some personal options, I would like to see control on font sizes on the views (Month, Day etc...), I just think the day numbers could be a little larger and bolder or at least give the user the option. I would also like to see a method of switching from Month, Week, Day and Agenda other than having to reach to the top left of the screen, if anything maybe because of my laziness . I just found that I had to use two hands to switch from Month to Agenda as opposed to one handed as if I was walking and had to check it or was carrying something in my other hand. That is the only thing I would say felt awkward to me. Again these are just things that jumped out to me for my personal preferences. I think it seems solid and I know it is a first release, as as I said in the review it is worth keeping an eye on. Thanks.

I use GTasks before, but one thing ever annoyed me is how complicated when you want to indent a task (I love indenting tasks...). In my app almost all operation can be performed more efficiently (maybe the most efficient way is put a lot of buttons, but I really cannot stand the ugliness of this). I know there are a lot to be done such as touth to move tasks (instead long press to move), and a sub-menu for task item to delete. I will certainly do this in future releases.

I'll add a font setting in future. About the button at top left, I once considered to put them all in the side panel, but I find that there are to much in it: the different views, the mini-month calendar, and visible calendar selector. I'll think about this method again or try to find another idea.

It is just a tool to record what you have done in you 24 hours, and I do not think most people need it, so it is disabled by default.
i noticed that when you are creating new task from widget, it displayed a wrong "create time", this is a bug right?

i'd like to have a postpone function and repeating tasks (repeats every 5 days), and a preference for your tasks as to when they are due without you having to manually set it....
anyway, enjoying this app. well done
Thank you for this great app, i was looking for so long.
I think we do need no second Calengoo, so please keep it simple and clean.

Integrate Tasks
Could you have integration with to-do list apps so that they'll be displayed at the top before the events? And allow us to select whether to add a google event/task when pressing the add button. That'll be awesome imo! the UI is beautiful. Also, does it come with a refresh button/auto refresh when I add new events?

Hi Bernardyip,
thanks for your feedback!

Does the beta version contain ads? If yes, there a version without ads?

New Version 1.0.6 now available!
looks not that bad. i could see all my events, also the events from third party syncs like davdroid. It would be great if the tasks could be also visible in the widget.

Hi Lifear,
thanks for your feedback. Can you elaborate on the tasks? Im not familiar with tasks on android. What kind of app you use for them?
Best regards,
Manuel
Tasks or Todo's are part of my Calendar. Im using CalDAV as Calendar Provider and sync these via DavDroid also to Android. On the Server, Task's are very similar to Calendar Events. The Main difference is, that a Calendar Entry is a vEvent Entry and a task is a vTodo. DavDroid syncs to the normal Android Calendar Storage, thats why i see these Events also in your Widget. For Tasks, i use OpenTasks. With these App, i see the synced Tasks from DavDroid on Android.

New version 1.0.10 now available
I've been looking for something like this. It looks amazing compared to what I've found.
I'd pay for this.
The unused space when the widget is small is quite large though.
Been using it for a few days and couple of things I would like to request are:
a) An option to customize the colour / font for weekends. Here, I would also like to add that weekends are likely to vary based on region (in the middle east, it is Friday & Saturday) and therefore allow the user to choose the weekend. Also, some may just have one day as a weekend.
b) An option to save the settings so that it can be re-used.
c) Under General>Appearance>Text Size, why don't you just allow the user to increase it by whatever size they choose instead of forcing them to choose in multiples of 10?
d) The Day and date that is displayed on the widget, can you allow the user to customize it as in allow it to appear all on a single line as in:
Saturday, 8 July or
Saturday July 8, 2017
or in multiple lines, like
July 8, 2017
Saturday
Basically, give a user definable box where the user enters dddd, mmm dd, yyyy or whatever they choose.
Thanks
Thanks for your feedback. There are very valid and good points. I will add them to my todo list
Best regards,
Manuel

Its possible to have a transparent background. There is a indicator on the "Background Color" settings for degree of transparency.
you could add a 'Add New Reminder' button at the bottom, where the app would open a floating window rather than the application itself and take in the data as it should
Hi there great widget. I second the suggestions by Paparasee above, especially point c). I'd also like to see an option to eliminate the horizontal lines in the weeks views. Also, is it possible to get Google Reminders to show as they do in the Google Calendar widget? Thanks!

Notifix
Content Aware Notification Management!
Hassle free categorization of notifications based on its content and type.
Notifix uses app type and processes notification content using machine learning to automatically group notifications into their respective categories - not just based on the app's name. Not just another notification manager!
You can later check those grouped notifications without losing content and the link that the notification carries.
It is powered by TensorFlow™ and is continuously being developed. Feel free to pour in your suggestions!
It automatically categorizes notifications into either of the 5 categories: Primary/Promotions/News/Messages/Social, and they can be separately viewed without losing the deep-link that the original notification carried.
Download: Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grenadeguy.notifix
Feel free to drop in your views, recommendations, and suggestions!
Screenshots:
Permissions explained:
I have given a brief explanation in the Play Store listing.
Notification access: To read incoming notifications and categorize them.
Usage access: To see last used application and clear old notifications.
Contacts: To skip processing SMS/Messages if the sender is in contacts.
Phone: To find the default dialer and skip processing/grouping its notification.
I store the already determined app type and live notifications locally to make it easy to sort. There was also a plan to display an archive of cleared notifications (not carrying the deep-link). So storage is also needed (SQL databases basically).
Hoping to find alternate ways to accomplish those requirements so that those sensitive permissions aren't needed.
Sounds interesting!

Just installed, very good idea!
However, I found a bug, google play app updated notifications get lost.
Nice app, Just installed. A black theme or forced black text would be nice, see screenshot.
I use substratum Swift black (i guess that's the problem why text is White).
Thanks for the app!

In the screenshot, it's saying updated 1 app Google Docs on the first line, the second line it's saying updating Google Docs, which was supposed to be disappeared after the first line appears.
And once this happens, newer notifications from Google Play will not be grouped under this group anymore.
Hope you can understand what I'm saying.

Oops....Thank you. Will check that.
why is the "Read contacts" permission needed?
and if possible, could you elaborate on the following 2 permissions as its the first time i saw them in apps?
- "run the application's scheduled background work"
- "update component usage statistics"
thx..
Sounds interesting, but any chance of making the account linking optional? The app won't even start unless you provide a Google account, which is something i'd rather not do until at least after i test the app to see if it's for me or not.

I know that feels strange (being a user myself). I have given a brief explanation in the Play Store listing.

I can make it. But logging in is currently needed for the app to function properly (it's also used for easy categorization inside the app other than just saving your preferences).
I'll look for ways to do that. Hopefully within 1 or 2 updates I can do that.

Hi!
I'm testing your app, it looks quite good. But I have a problem: it doesn't show the message category. It hides all the mails and messages of Telegram and WhatsApp without showing anything. The rest of categories are right.
