Hi all,
I flashed my phone with the Tsunami Techvanced Rom which i got from one of the threads on this forum and used the extreme rejoice kernel. At first there was no issues with the rom but after rebooting the phone, there is google play services issue. It shows an error message saying. "Google play services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported by your device, please contact the manufacturer for assistance". I cannot connect(sign in) any game to google. I've even flashed my ROM again but the problem still occurs. This happens only after rebooting the phone. How do I resolve this issue?

Flash the gapps package for 4.2.2.
Solved this issue for me.
And BindassBoost kernel is suggested.

umm, need to be a little more specific please - which apps?
also general rule for FCs (forced closes) is to try one of two things:
- clear the apps data via manage apps, and/or
- do a fix permissions via recovery

I think it might be because the apps are not yet compatible with ICS?
I installed the same ROM yesterday, and I'm having the same problem. For now, I just noticed that Viber and WhatsUp are doing it. May be there are some more. I did full wipe before installing.

Those don't have ICS support yet, so you'll just have to wait.

Hi all,
I encountered this to my friends' tab, as he did not have the Play Store app after flashing.
I've followed steps and also flashed gapps as well. But still nothing happened.
Not sure what to do?

I have some issues with the USB..it seems that the usb could not be connected to PC/laptop.
the above issues has been settled eventually by re-flashing the rom..
but the usb issue still have not been resolved.

I think flashing the latest Google Apps zip will fix your problem.
A while ago I flashed Adi's Sungsonic Hd and installed the oc kernel by psn. There was no lags and I supposed everthing was fine until I installed asphalt7. I tried buy8ngnsome cash within the game but everytime I try to by some..I get an error telling me the app is not connected to the play store so update it or try again. Nothing worked thus far and im very frustrated anyone can help?

May be more of an app issue than a rom issue. I'd go to the apps website and see if anyone else is having the same issue and if so go from there.
If not I'd contact there support for the app

Hello everyone,
I've searched like every post/thread on Xda-developers and other Android forums, but I couldn't find a solution to my problem. First of all the WiFi icon is grayed out. Solutions to this were: adding/removing Google accounts, resetting/restarting router, restarting phone, factory data reset. I tried EVERYTHING, but it wouldn't work. The second thing is, I can't add Google account after removing it. Solutions were: logging in via YouTube, cleaning data of: Google Play Store, Google Services Framework and Downloadmanager app. Resetted phone for the second time. But nothing works. I'm able to browse the internet and receive WhatsApp messages. The only that doesn't work are the Google apps. I hope someone with knowledge of this can help me, because i'm getting really frustrated and nothing helps.

Try to flash your ROM again and be sure to use the right version of GApps.

I just flashed a new rom and have all the recent Google Apps, but it's still the same.
I now have the same problem on my Nexus 7
The rom I flashed is PACman version 19.0.0, Android version 4.1.2
I hope someone can help me.
OK, everything is good now, because I flashed cyanogenmod 10.1.2 on Nexus 7 and Alcatel OT-995.
No help needed anymore
Hey, I'm currently using CM13 on a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 (jfltexx) - Google play store, in app purchases (and Snapchat) just suddenly stopped working - the google play connection error came up every time I went on the Play Store. Usually deleting the etc/hosts file does the trick, but this time it didn't work. I thought I'd just factory reset it since I was going to be flashing an update anyway. Now, I've got an error of 'There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later'. I've had this version of gapps for a while and never had any problem that couldn't be quickly sorted out. I've tried all the clear data, cache, reset app preferences, change time/date, tried on Wi-Fi and LTE networks etc -I also factory reset a few times and re-flashed both the ROM and gapps just in case but still no luck. Any ideas?

Probably cant be fix
Only if you try another rom
This happens with unofficial builds of CM and sometimes official ones also
In most cases happens with samsung devices.
I also have CM7.2 right now

But surely it wouldn't be solely down to CM? I was running the same nightly of CM13 for the past month or so without any problems. Anyway, I might as well try a different ROM, I'll let you know if it works as soon as I flash it
Still don't know why it stopped working randomly, but just flashed Dirty Unicorns, everything works fine now
