Developer options - Verizon Galaxy S 5 General

For those curious or coming from non Samsung devices, you can enable developer options by going to settings> about phone> and tap build number. You will see a toast message appear telling you to keep tapping. Follow instructions and enjoy.

Here is what ive found:
On Androidâ„¢ version 4.2 and higher, the Developer options screen is hidden by default. To unhide the Developer options, press Menu Menu key > Settings Settings Shortcut > More Settings More Tab Icon > About Device Settings About Icon. Scroll down to Build number and touch it seven (7) times. The menu option will then appear under Settings Settings Shortcut > More Settings More Tab Icon > Developer options Settings Developer Icon.

Thanks.. I will try it later..

Private/hidden calls

After I've reset my Nexus S a few days ago... It makes all my calls shown as private number to others. Does anyone of you fellas know, how to change it back so my phone number is shown?
I'm using A.V. 4.0.3.
In advance thank you.
Open up contacts and go into settings. You'll find it in "Additional Settings".
It's no longer in the contacts settings with ICS, it's now in the Phone app settings.
Open the Phone app, go to Menu > Settings > Additional settings > Caller ID.

OK, I messed up (Voicemail)

I just installed CM9 (Eagles Blood) and I got my 1st voicemail, it said there was no number set, so I mistakenly put in my phone number, instead of the +1805..... and now it asks for my pin each time, where do I change this at?
Settings, call settings, voicemail.
Edit: I may have spoke too soon. That's how you do it in GB. Although ICS should be similar.

Default camera change, 4.4.2

How would I go about changing the default camera app, tried going to settings, apps, camera, but defaults is grayed out. I open the app I want to use as default but no camera picker, is there a way to force a default
Running stock kyocera hydro icon 4.4.2 rom, not rooted and using art runtime

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Scroll down until you find your current default camera app > click it > scroll down until you see a 'clear defaults' button > click it > then perform an action that requires a camera and select the one you want to use by default. It should look something like this.

Enable Download booster ( Stock, No Root, Need Confirmation )

Ok I think I stumbled on how to enable Download Booster without root or anything. This is on a Verizon Galaxy S5, running Android 5.0.
Basically it seems like I am pulling up a menu that was supposed to be hidden. Oddly enough, now, when I go to Settings and look under "Wireless and networks" and click on "More networks" the "Download booster" option just shows up for me as if it was supposed to be there.
Anyways here are two different methods that may have made it work:
NOTE : Before doing these steps, I had "Hangouts" set as my default messaging app.
Method 1
1) Settings > Applications
2) Go to "Messages"
3) Click on "Default Messaging app"
4) When a prompt comes up saying "Change messaging app?" choose "Yes"
5) Click on "Default Messaging app" again
6) This time it takes you to a "More networks" screen
7) Click "Download booster" and turn it on.
8) Set your default messaging app back to Hangouts if you prefer it
Method 2
1) Open "Hangouts"
2) Go to "Settings" and then "SMS"
3) Click on "SMS enabled - touch to change your default SMS app"
4) It takes you to a "More networks" screen
5) Click "Download booster" and turn it on.
6) Set your default messaging app back to Hangouts if you prefer it
Basically I am just looking for someone to give this a try and see if they see the same thing. If it works, great - if not, I will remove this post (or at least update the title) so people don't waste their time. It definately seems to be enabled on my stock S5, and when I tried downloading a large file it seemed to kick in.
On lollipop 5.0 all you have to do is go to settings more networks is on the top

So on Lollipop, the Verizon S5 has it enabled / available by default? Wow.. I feel stupid.
Can you guys confirm that it actually boosts the download speed? It should show the icon at the top and show activity. Think there is a display in the pulldown add well when it is active

One UI 2 Navbar "more options"

Anyone else on vzw unable to use the more options feature under navbar settings with todays update?
Not quite sure what you are referencing. I am running on VZW with the 10.0/2.0 update so let me know and I can check it on mine.
I got the same on international version.
Settings - Display - Navigation bar --> "More options" -button is greyed out
Edit: Side gestures are disabled if you are using custom launcher. Set default launcher and you can access those settings.
I'm on a Note 10 US on Verizon and I just updated a few hours ago and I do have the option for the new swipe gestures.
I tried it and didn't like it and switched back to the 3 swipe zones at the bottom.
