Q. What are the prerequisites to flash this?
A. You must be S-Off with TWRP recovery and on the latest Verizon firmware. Other recoveries may work but are not supported.
Q. Who is this ROM for?
A. Its for the Home-brew enthusiast that wants to make a ROM for themselves. Its for developers that want to build a ROM for the community but may not have access to a complete untouched file set. Its for that guy that forgot to make a Nandroid back up!
Q. Who is this ROM not for?
A. Crack Flashers. You will not get a flash high from this ROM. Its stock rooted!
Q. Why doesn't it have any mods? All the other ROMS have xxxxx
A. Its a stock ROM!
Q. Is the thether hacked?
A. No, Its a stock ROM!
Q. Will you do a de-odex version any time soon?
A. Probably but I don't like to be hounded about things!
Q. Can I still enable ART?
A. Hell yeah, on the ODex version. Dont recommend trying that on De-odex!

Oh, for sure man! I just got the basics out of the way. I always start with a share-able stock rooted ROM. Then everyone can play :good:
But I hope to have a prelim version of CleanROM out this weekend. Not sure when though.

Means that apps can read/write to your SD card without any issues.

No it means the system partition is writable so you can edit system files from within the operating system. You have full 100% root. See thread from flar2

Try a different mirror. I got two in the op. If that doesn't work then try a different machine or isp.

Check with your isp. I doubt that 2 completely unrelated hosts are sending bad bits.
No problems matching md5's via dev-host here.

Had an issue with one of the other 4.3 ROMs. Had to patch SU and do some cleanup to fix. Wiped it twice to use that ROM. Can't say I've ever had a bad experience with any of your ROMs so I doubt I'll find anything. Especially if it's stock.
You are all over the place man. Seems every device I get you are already developing for or pop up out of freakin nowhere. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

There haven't been any problems like root disappearing or tb issues or massive lag during the setup or running anything.

I havent noticed any lag, one time during the set up, on a full wipe, Google Services F/C'ed so I wiped and flashed again and it seemed fine...
I dont use TB and root is still here since I flashed / posted it...

Apologies in advance for the spam, I've posted this in a couple of different Nexus device threads.
This is a 99% pure stock Rooted ROM. The kernel is a stock built kernel but NOT the kernel that Verizon put it in that borks WiFi on the unlocked devices. Its a pure stock build from Samsung that I compiled my self.
The ROM has the following features...
Designed for people that did not take the 4.3 OTA update (and locked the device)!
Pure Stock, no mods!
Knox Free!
Rooted with SuperSU by ChainFire
Busybox and init.d support
Recompiled Stock kernel (To avoid the intentional WiFi bug that Verizon put in the ROM).
Removed Software Updater and Verizon CD ROM
Odex or De-Odex!
Notes..
Version 2 fixes exFAT support for those with larger SD cards
No Safe Strap Support at this time
Highly recommend backing up storage due to changes in how Android stores user data!

Yes flashes like normal from recovery. You should wipe and flash matching modem also.

Anyone else have trouble with messaging? Mine kept force closing. I flashed the AOSP messaging zip and then it worked.
Clean install, wiped everything (including internal by accident).
I didn't mess with it too much, I needed messaging to work, I use two-step verification for Google, I always get my code sent via text.

No, I actually only use DSI-XDA kitchen myself.
I did what I always do, grab the stock image from Google, break it down, add my own root and busybox (not the ones in the kitchen, they are older).
Then I use my updater-script that I hand built from prior releases along with matching binaries.
Pretty much that is it. I am going to look at yours in a minute and I will PM you what I find.

symlink: some symlinks failed.
E:Error executing updater binary in zip
EDIT: I redownloaded the file, and it worked on the 2nd try. Must have been a bad download.

Don't worry man haha, yours works better let's be honest so we might as well get people using it.
Interesting I did pretty much the exact same, added the updated superuser since there is a really old one in the kitchen like you said. I think my updater script was okay. I guess I had some weird binaries or something, I just grabbed them from a 4.4.2 rom, not entirely sure what there purpose is. Or how to view/edit them.
I'll probably have another blast at it tomorrow just for the fun of it, I want to try get it working so I know for the future
EDIT: though I had issue with root not working out the box, maybe I missed replacing something. What files did you replace?

This is an error with TWRP. Just reboot into bootloader then back into recovery and you will be fine.

Actually it doesnt require a log in.
Your seeing that message because the ROM is not fully uploaded yet.
Look at the line right above "Download" and you will see the words "ROM Uploading"
It should be done in about 10 minutes.
Once its done the link will be unlocked and open to the public.

Its part of setting.apk. can't be deleted. Last I knew

Q. What are the prerequisites to flash this?
A. You must be S-Off with TWRP recovery and latest 5.0.1 based firmware. Other recoveries may work but are not supported.
Q. Who is this ROM for?
A. Its for the Home-brew enthusiast that wants to make a ROM for themselves. Its for developers that want to build a ROM for the community but may not have access to a complete untouched file set. Its for that guy that forgot to make a Nandroid back up!
Q. Who is this ROM not for?
A. Crack Flashers. You will not get a flash high from this ROM. Its stock rooted!
Q. Why doesn't it have any mods? All the other ROMS have xxxxx
A. Its a stock ROM!
Q. Is the thether hacked?
A. No, Its a stock ROM!

This is actually false my friend.
(Not the base part. Scott makes one of, if not THE best bases)
Sense 6 VVM works.
Sense 7 VVM works only if you have a provisioned SIM Card. (Basically to do this you need to activate your SIM Card in an HTC One M9 then it'll work on Sense 7 on M8)
You can however use Sense 6 Messaging + VVM on Sense 7 without the SIM provisioning - Message.apk just won't be themed as is Sense 6.

No way? Really? I've flashed every sense 6 ROM and none have a working vvm. But I flashed this one and vvm worked just fine. So Idk what I'm doing wrong.
