I think U just need to replace the virtual keyboard app, there are many of it! Pick one U like ...
I never try it, but I think its the same like change our music player, video player, launcher etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong...

Hey Peeps ,
So i am trying to Mod the Touchwiz4.5 launcher to somehow make it better for our SGN ...
The things on my priority list are
1. ability to hide the status bar
2. getting bigger icons ....
I've tried to make the icons bigger (see attached pic) and now need to somehow change the code to be able to hide the status bar ......
Will share if i have any news at all....
Can you make an alphabetic sort possibility ?
One useful feature if possible is to lock desktop icons..I find this very useful as in apex launcher etc..another feature is to increase number of screens to like 15 ...some may find this strange but I like to have many pages/screens...thanks

You can do that with the help of an app from the Play Store/Market, called Appzorter.

Umm correct me if i am wrong but i think Appzorter only works with the stock touchwiz4.0 and not with 4.5 ....
Icon Size
Guys ,, the icon size(App Drawer) in the attached image on the first post ,,ur opinion ,,,, is that too big or just about ok?
Sounds stupid but coming to touchwiz. Biggest thing that annoys me is not being able to move the app draw icon to thr middle. And also the folders open massive. Even with 2-3 apps in

Umm u can do that even now with the touchwiz4.5_22 version of the launcher .... my app drawer button is right in the middle

I know, I mean for the mean time if h/she's using TW 4, they can use Appzorter to alphabetize the apps.
Any news on the modded TW4.5 launcher? Really loved it on all my android devices a port would be great .
I´m really missing the landscape mode on TW. Is there any possibility to apply an hack for it?!

Hi guys,i was wondering if there is any app or any possible way to change the keyboard layout to be like the blackberry one(not the storm touch-screen type,i mean to have the numbers on the WERSDFZXC,not on top on the QWERTYUIOP if you get me).I have the "Perfect keyboard" app but i can only change the way it looks,not the way the keys are arranged.I like the blackberry (hardware) keyboard and it would be nice if it could be put on an android touchscreen

Is there any way that these 2 bars could hide?
example: if i put my finger on the top of the screen and go it down it can open status bar, and if i put my finget at the bottom and move it, to open the dock bar.
Nova launcher will do this plus much more. I highly recommend it!

well i tryed with nova, but this isn't what i want. I want something like the computer. When you go your mouse at the taskbar it auto pop up and if you move the mouse away it will automatically hide again. So i want with my finger to make the pop up.
If you have a good phone try nova , a bad phone ( like galaxy ace , y ... ) then try ADW launcher cuz its fast

Idk really if its possible with the galaxy mini cuz of his low proc and ram maybe what you want can work on a dual core phone but not in this phone or else it will be super lagy

I am despreatly looking for a keyboard which has a prominent numbers row on top like the one note 2 has.. for my samsung s3... i9300 ... I tried the note 2 keyboard mod... it doesnt work with my rom... the samsung keyboard crashes...

swype is pretty great

If the number row of samsung keyboard is prominent enough for you try Turning off the Auto replacement i have a hard time using it anyway.

Auto replacement is horrible... I can never text with that being on..
Nehow i cant do without the numbers row... Use numbers a lot...

For some reason Google Keyboard improves my accuracy. Maybe it's just coincidence.
I un-installed it though. Aesthetically it was horrible, and it took up too much space and used too much ram for my liking. Back to stock SJB 8.0 keyboard. Loving it.

I had a look at Google keyboard... and to be frank i dint like it this much .. look wise it is too simple thus too boring .. and functioning wise it is just average.. so nothing good about it ..

I managed to port and install 3 very useful apps from my friends Galaxy Note 3.
1. Morning App
- This is a very nice alarm app best if used only for morning alarms. It will read out weather for the day and traffic information as well as read out new emails if you like. Give it a shot.
2. Sketchbook for Galaxy
Full featured app comes stock on note 3 Works great without the S Pen.

I love it too. i use it everyday.
Would it be possible to include more languages in the morning app? Atm it's only english, usually it's not a problem at all. But at the morning, right after waking up my native language (german) would be a lil bit suitable for me
