[Q] Keyboard app that allows app specific settings? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a keyboard app that allows specific settings or layouts per different apps?
For example, if using Gmail, I'd like to have specific keyboard settings / layout. If I use Facebook, I like to have a different layout / settings.
Thanks in advance.

T9 as default for text messaging only

Hi folks great forum.
Is there any way to set T9 mode as the default mode for text messaging only.
I don't want it as a default for any of the other applications that require input.
TIA

Weird, not all apps appear to be accessible from drawer.

On the Vibrant, there would be multiple icons in its drawer to access the same app, only approaching it so that you land on different tabs. On the MT4G, for instance, the Peep app is entirely missing. It appears you can only access the built-in Twitter app via the widget?
There was also a nice 'quick find' app that you can't access from the drawer. In it, there were multiple entries along the bottom where you could use the same search term in various area of the web, such as Wiki, youtube, google, etc. It reminded me of the Dragon search on the iphone.

yes I realized that too and on the other hand plain android 2.2 applications like the genius news widget is missing completely.
The 'Quick find' app appears when you select text within the default web browser. It's very nice!
There are definitely apps present that are not accessible directly from the drawer in Sense. Install LauncherPro or ADW and you'll notice about 20 additional apps (approximate by a quick scan) in their app drawers. I think these are apps accessible via other apps/functions in Sense so atte hidden in the app drawer. For example, the FM Radio is not available in the Sense app drawer, but is in LP. In Sense it is accessed via Media Room. We should be given the option in Sense on what to display -this is one reason I'm using LP+.

[Q] Enabling AOSP 4.2 Gesture Keyboard Corrections/Suggestions Bar in All Apps

Is there a way to enable suggestions for the keyboard in all apps?
For example, the Google search bar/Google Now, Chrome, IMDb and parts of Gmail (Search, To field) all lack the corrections/suggestions bar. Without the suggestions, using gesture typing (with Google Now especially) is impossible if you're not going for the most common word.

[Q] Android-Shortcut installed as app? Shortcuts in app drawer?

Hi,
Is there any (easy) way to create/install shortcuts in the app-drawer?
That way I can create folders with apps, shortcuts to webpages, shortcut to a emailaccounts, shortcut to a contact.
I'm using SSLauncher as launcher, it can be customized in many ways
- It has a application page (app drawer) that supports folders
- Also application group pages (then you can choose apps from app drawer).
BUT i can't use shortcuts on this pages.
Workaround:
I can create shortcuts with Tasker and then install them as an app but that is much work...
I've searched arround but didn't find any answer (only programs to make shortcuts to homepages).
THANKS!

[Q] Change between multiple lockscreens

Hi,
I have a (rooted) Nexus5 and I want to have multiple lockscreens, which I can change based on various condition (preferrably within Tasker using a copy or some sort ?)
E.g.:
- At home, I have a Sonos running, so I would like to have the sonos widget on my lockscreen so I can stop/pause/play from within the lockscreen
- At work, I would like to have my agenda on my lockscreen
- etc ...
I don't mind creating multiple screens using the 'stock' lockscreen app, and switch between them using file operations.
Has anybody done this before ?
Thx in advance !
