Hi
Recently I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 with a Cyanogenmod 11 based ROM (Android firmware 4.4.2).
When I've caught up in a boot loop error, I went to recovery mode and instead of wiping data or a factory reset I've wiped cache !!
(by mistake or lack of awareness).
.
After that my phone is not booting up.. when I'm trying to turn on, it got stuck at the first screen which displays like
'Samsung Galaxy SL GT I9003'.
ROM : Cyanogenmod.
Android Version : 4.4.2
This is the first time I'm doing this kind of stuffs with the phone, So guys please please help me out to get over this..
-Arjun

I flashed the phone with stock rom, i.e GB 2.3.6(I9003DDMF1) for SL i9003 with Odin3 V1.82. After flashing, the phone was trying to reboot, but its stuck some where and showing the animation continuously instead of moving into the language preference option.
I guess it may be a boot loop error and i went to recovery mode and tried to do a factory reset, but while resetting it shows some error..
after that i wiped the cache partition too..
Still the phone is in the same condition as mentioned above
So, should i need to flash stock rom once again, to resolve this issue ?
Thanks in advance
-Arjun
I think you have the same issue like me. Your internal memory is maybe broken.

You have to flash a Full firmware paqage(ddlf2,xxkpe) with pit and the other files included(modem, code, csc)

Thanks for your reply.. !
Actually what happened in my case was, I've lost some boot files due to an improper factory/data reset
and the same issue can only rectified by flashing these files PIT, PDA, Modem, CSC with OdinV1.85.
In some cases flashing with a single file(PDA Only) will not works at all.
Thanks
-Arjun.

Ohh but why did u selected update.zip.. U hav to navigate to the razodroid rite.. Anyways not booting means.. Bootlooping or not powering on at all..
Just try to go to download mode once if its not wrking tak out the battery leave it for sometime then try again... If its stil not wrkng.. Then therez only one way tak it to the service center
I tried instaling update.zip i.e. Razodroid v4.0 and even partitioned my sdcard with a ext3 partition and then it booted successfully.... Thanks all.....

Its a bootloop. Boot in recovery and make a data wipe and factory reset. What recovery do you use?

if your phone is dead (no lights, activity etc) then only consider it as Bricked else you can revive it by flashing firmware via ODIN for stock ROM or CWM for Custom ROMs
I have a big problem // sorry for my bad english, im spanish //
i have a samsung galaxy core I8260
Yesterday I followed this tutorial, did not read well the part that said it was for the I8262 version ...
I tried the 1st & the 2nd method os the post.
Then, as I could not start CWM (power + home + volume UP) android decided to restore factory data (factory reset) from android preferences.
And surprise! CWM worked !! I did a backup, then install 2 roms for galaxy I8262 core (I made that mistake... my phone is I8260), but did not initiate android (infinite loop of reboots ...) then restore my backup and is still with the loop of restarts ... .
How I can fix it? Thanks brothers :good:

Flash cwm again..
if cwm did already work then cwm is not the problem here.. the problem is when you flashed 2 roms of I8262.. you could always flash a stock rom of I8260 via odin.. hope that helps..

Question 1: before you flashed the rom, what wipe options did you select?
Question 2: can u get into the bootloader?
I wiped cache and dalvik. (and I did factory reset to)
and yes, I can even start CWM, but I can't find my backup

So it's not in a bootloop anymore? I use TWRP not CWM but I wouldn't think that updating versions would change the source destination path of the backup. Sidenote: after I rooted and backedup my G for the first time, the auto generated name (which was that time/date stamp) had a weird date of sometime in the 1970's and I wasn't able to use that backup because it didn't backup the /system data for some reason. I could still see the backup tho, just not use it

Nope, no bootloop, I hold the powerbutton for 5 seconds. But that I can't find my backups is the real problem, I really can't find my backup anywhere (I can use a filemanager in CWM)

I can't say where the backup went but if u freshly unlocked and rooted it before backing up, there can't be that much data lost! You would need to just reflash the stock firmware and backup if that is your intent; to have a stock backup  and I'm happy it's no longer in a bootloop. I would suggest going forward to save nandroid backups to usb-otg storage device so it can't be wiped from the phone.
I flashed the stock rom with this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219) but I am still stuck in bootscreen..
So flashing roms doesn't go well.. What now? (thanks for helping!)

When you downgraded to JB did you also wipe the internal SD or did you just flash system and kernel via fastboot?

I had same problem.
Never could get twrp to stop rebooting during a flash.
It's issue is with twrp noone would help.
The fix is download philz touch recovery.img file Not the tar file from xda links flash that with flashify app. It's the smaller size file.
Then boot into philz and flash arter97 kernel v11.0 zip
All fixed

I already did that, but now it gets stuck in the part to say samsung.
Sorry my English is bad
If its getting stuck at Samsung logo after flashing stock rom then try this :-
1. Go to stock recovery
2. Wipe dalvik / cache
3. Restart your phone
