[Q] infinite reboot loop in CWM ( I8260 ) - Samsung Galaxy Core

I have a big problem // sorry for my bad english, im spanish //
i have a samsung galaxy core I8260
Yesterday I followed this tutorial, did not read well the part that said it was for the I8262 version ...
I tried the 1st & the 2nd method os the post.
Then, as I could not start CWM (power + home + volume UP) android decided to restore factory data (factory reset) from android preferences.
And surprise! CWM worked !! I did a backup, then install 2 roms for galaxy I8262 core (I made that mistake... my phone is I8260), but did not initiate android (infinite loop of reboots ...) then restore my backup and is still with the loop of restarts ... .
How I can fix it? Thanks brothers :good:

Flash cwm again..

if cwm did already work then cwm is not the problem here.. the problem is when you flashed 2 roms of I8262.. you could always flash a stock rom of I8260 via odin.. hope that helps..

Maybe it's an update error and you're stucked at recovery . Try flashing a new firmware through odin or root it by using hemidall suite with the help of odin and after rooting install CWM and then flash a custom rom

Need help with simmilar problem
Hello guys. I have similar problem. tab2 is literally looping between start screen that is asking for update and recovery. In recovery I tried from sd card to flash new rom or cwm but he is giving the same message: signature verification failed and he just restart and first screen is just asking for update and code. I instaled all drivers for samsung and tried on another comp but neider of them recognise tab so I don`t know if there is any help since I can not use odin and from sd he is just looping without solution. Please I am desperate. Sorry for English. Not my native language. Ido have some knowledge of rooting and working with odin but not with adb and now I am reading about it but also I see that even for that he needs drivers and recognition from pc. Please is there any option? Apreciate any help. Thanks

Reboot to recovery, Wipe cache.
I did it no use...
What about sending it for repair again, then when it comes back do a nandroid restore of your data only (not system and other partitions), see whether that works.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 not booting. !

Hi
Recently I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 with a Cyanogenmod 11 based ROM (Android firmware 4.4.2).
When I've caught up in a boot loop error, I went to recovery mode and instead of wiping data or a factory reset I've wiped cache !!
(by mistake or lack of awareness).
.
After that my phone is not booting up.. when I'm trying to turn on, it got stuck at the first screen which displays like
'Samsung Galaxy SL GT I9003'.
ROM : Cyanogenmod.
Android Version : 4.4.2
This is the first time I'm doing this kind of stuffs with the phone, So guys please please help me out to get over this..

I flashed the phone with stock rom, i.e GB 2.3.6(I9003DDMF1) for SL i9003 with Odin3 V1.82. After flashing, the phone was trying to reboot, but its stuck some where and showing the animation continuously instead of moving into the language preference option.
I guess it may be a boot loop error and i went to recovery mode and tried to do a factory reset, but while resetting it shows some error..
after that i wiped the cache partition too..
Still the phone is in the same condition as mentioned above
So, should i need to flash stock rom once again, to resolve this issue ?
Thanks in advance
-Arjun
I think you have the same issue like me. Your internal memory is maybe broken.

Actually what happened in my case was, I've lost some boot files due to an improper factory/data reset
and the same issue can only rectified by flashing these files PIT, PDA, Modem, CSC with OdinV1.85.
In some cases flashing with a single file(PDA Only) will not works at all.
Thanks

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 not booting

So I have this Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, GT-P3100 with Jellybeans 4.1.2. I recently rooted it using Kingroot. It worked fine until I tried installing a custom kernel. I installed unofficial miui v5.4 using CVM Recovery v6.0.7 I think. I clicked install from sd card and installed the .zip file. It said installed after a few mind. I then clicked reboot device now. It started booting and showed a new boot image, which I thought was normal. But the image wasn't fitting in the screen. I waited full 30 mins and it stayed there, a light coming and going as a logo. Nothing happened, so I pressed the key combination of power button + volume up button for 5 seconds and it started again, showing the new symbol. It has not booted after an hour and half.
Please help, I don't know what to do.
I admit I am a little new in this. But I saw a website to tomsguide.com and followed the steps with pictures.

So I think you flashed a incompatible Rom on your tab 2, well the only way to get it back booting is to try restoring it back to stock firmware, just Google how to restore tab 2 to stock, and follow the video on the channel droid cheats but yeah if you have got pretty fast internet and don't want to spend entire life downloading that 1GB file go the general discussion of the tab 2 7.0 forum here and scroll down you will find a thread named fast download link stock firmware I think it should be something like that and download the one made for p3100, want more help comment below

hello sir,
i know how to solve your problem.
the problem you are facing is a boot loop .i.e you get stuck in the boot logo
and your device never goes further.
the common reason is not clearing dalvik cache before flashing a new rom in recovery.
so now solve this problem follow these steps.
1. charge your device fully and go to recovery.
2. do the following-
do a factory data reset.
clear cache and go to advanced and clear dalvik cache.
now flash the kernel and rom and the gapps(if you have).
now reboot and see you will go through the boot logo .
HURRAY YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY FLASHED YOUR NEW ROM
NOTE: all the steps above are only to practice in CWM Recovery.
if you still have any problems let mw know.
thanks
