[Q] Random files in android OS is deleted - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys, I am new here so sorry for any mistakes (if any)
Coming to my problem,
I have an Indian origin android mobile named "CELKON A9+", It had a strange problem of rebooting by itself in the middle of something some people online suggested for "Factory reset" I did it to my amazement it rebooted evem while undergoing reset!
So I rooted it using "VRoot" application and opened the file that hosts the android os and deleted files i thought were suspicious along with a file caled ("boot..." something like that) now when i restarted it, It is stuck at the LOGO screen no further booting takes place
and even hard reset (power button + volume down) is also not working
Please help I am only a student and I am not in a position to buy a new one
Awaiting for answer
Once again sorry if i was Not polite etc

If i use "volume up" nothing happens
but if i use "volume down" an exlamation mark" ! " appears within a triangle
Other info: This device is rooted and i had also deleted a file required for booting, dalvik cahe accidently
coz i thought they were responsibele For "random boot loop" (which was of course my irresponsibility and lack of knowledge"
now leaving that aside pls suggest whether there are any ways.

What happens if you hold the Vol+ and THEN plug in the USB? (Hold the Vol button while you are plugging it in)
Does your PC detect the phone?
If that doesn't work try the Vol- and THEN plug in the USB.
That should put your device in fastboot mode. You can then proceed on installing a recovery and hopefully being able to flash a ROM.

I followed the link and it directed me to a file"Celkon a9+ stock firmware.rar"
Is it the file i am supposed to download?

Thnx

Yes, i booted into the bootloader and hit reboot, but since then i cant enter again the bootloader which is why i started this thread..
I press these buttons the right way ..i'e tryied all the combinations with battery re-insert each time but nothing...
Leave battery out for some time (10 min.), then while holding vol- pres power key, DO NOT release vol- it should get in the bootloader, then simply just flash some rom from recovery. The important thing is to leave it 10 minutes first.
Or try something else, while the phone is off, insert the usb in it, with me it's turning on, it's cwm recovery bug, but a good one .
not able to acces recovery mode
i am using htc explorer with jaggy rom 3.after few months when i tried to go in recovery mode my phone reboots.i tried re flashing CWM recovery.it says successful but still i am not able to access??????????
Hey,
Are you able to go to bootloader? If yes don't worry you will have to reflash the recovery. Download twrp or yannous recovery. And flash it,

I'm not sure at what condition is your phone right now. But the most common process I'm telling you is,
Take out your battery. Reinsert.
Hold down power button and volume down button all together until you get your screen emits light. This will take you to the fastboot menu. There select Recovery mode(no matter which recovery you're using). Like if you're usin ClockworkMod Recovery. In the menu, select wipe data/factory reset. Then go to mounts and format option. Mount /cache, /data, /system, /sd-ext(in case you're having a second partition). Remember NOT to mount sd-card. Right from the same menu, format boot, cache, system, data, sd-ext. This time again remember NOT to format sd-card otherwise you'll loose all your data. Now go back to main menu and select advanced option. There select wipe dalvik-cache to not to face low memory problems. Now go back. Select install zip from sd-card. choose zip from sd-card(choose the zip folder of a custom ROM). Install the package. Wait. After completion, reboot or you may have wipe data/factory reset before rebooting. These are the most common steps that works in almost every custom ROM. You can also follow the particular steps (if given) from anywhere you downloaded it. Wait for 2-5 or more minutes at the first boot as it take more time. The process may appears complicated but you'll find it easy when you'll do it.
Hope this thing will sort out your problem. Please hit 'Thanks' if I helped you or atleast do it for humanity that I typed that much for you.

I think he is having key combination problem.
@ S.alwaz
He should press volume down key first and then keeping the vol down key pressed, press the power as well. Now keep pressed both until bootloader appears. Enter recovery and follow the post above for flashing New ROM.
Pressing power first and then volume down key doesn't work. I checked here.
Hit "THANKS". It encourages me.
Does anyone know if the battery is charging even if the screen doesnt show anything (the charging animation) ? I m saying cause it might not boot at all due to a discharged battery...(although the battery was 50% charged when it broke down)
I've tried booting it connected to a usb but still nothing.

Hey , this was a problem for me when my pico went to recovery on connecting charger when phone was switched off..
then i flashed the yannou90's recovery and now it charges with the animation while its off...
not going into recovery when charger is connected...
And @cpgr
try this if it works...
1.)connect your phone to ac charger and leave for 30 minutes
2.)remove the charger and press the key combination as- press the volume down key and keep it pressed...now press the power key and keep both the keys pressed till the screen turns on... then leave the power key first and then the volume down key...
3.)now go to the recovery... [ is it working for you...??]....{ALSO, i recommend yannou90's cwm based recovery, you should try that as well if you already don't have it... }
4.)then wipe data/factory reset , wipe cache and install any Custom rom you like...
....
...
.
After this all.... give a detailed reply on whats not working for you...in the above steps...
i think these should work out great....
best of luck

[Q] Fake Galaxy Note 2 not loading

Hi guys,
I've got a replica of a Galaxy Note 2 5 months ago. It worked alright till today, when I turned it off to replace the battery and it never loaded back.
It's rooted. When I try to enter recovery mode, only the dead droid with the red triangle appears.
I've changed the battery again. Waited for a long time, but it never passes the samsung logo.
Can someone help me with it?

So the problem is caused by the battery change? It never happened before. Anyway, thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately, when i'm on that screen with the red triangle, nothing happens. I've tried lots of combinations of the hard buttons, but no menu appears. Is there an specific order of pressing, or time? Can you give me detailed information on the process?

Well, no success. I turn on the phone holding v up + power. It starts with a "recovery msg" below. Then it enters the screen with the red triangle. On that screen, nothing happens. I did as you told, and tried the following combinations: v up + power, v down + power, v up + home + power, and v down + home + power, for 20 seconds each try, and still, the same screen, no menu, no msg.
I have to mention again that it's a fake galaxy note 2, not a real samsung one.
Any other directions?

HY,the recovery that you went in was the stock, you said that you are rooted, and i assume you also have a custom recovery, where you flash roms, kernells, etc.I suggest that you should press v up +power+home, and release all 3 when the device model appears(galaxy note 2),if you can reach that make a backup of the device, and after you did it delete cache, dalvik from recovery and restore he backup.

Well, I remember using only a windows software to root. "Super One Click" if I'm not mistaken. The process was really simple, and i didn't do anything other then some clicks to root. No rom, kernell, backup or other stuff. It was simple, so that's why I did it.
About the phone, releasing the buttons still takes me to the red triangle screen. Using the v down instead of v up takes me to factory menu. The volume buttons only navigate through the options, but nothing selects them.

Well, as I told the post before, nothing selects any of the options on factory mode. Volume just navigates, and that's it. Power or home don't do a thing. I don't have a "fastboot" option on the menu either. I'm starting to give up. Any more ideas?
Just one advice, dont buy fake phone

Yo!
I guess this should work.
First restore your phone to stock firmware. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 (follow the steps there and you would run on stock)
Most probably this will work.
If not then go to recovery (you will run stock recovery here so opening recovery is bit different). To go to recovery first as usual go to fastboot and to recovery. There you will see a lying down android logo with open belly and red caution sign. Then to open recovery, hold volume up and down bottom together for 5 seconds and while holding that hold the power button once and the recovery will open
Now there clear the cache and system data
Now your phone will be OK and working.
Please hit thanks if I helped!

I think you pressed the power instead of volume up key when choosing these options.

Indeed , don't forget that in the default recovery VOLUME UP = ENTER and VOLUME DOWN = SCROLL .
If everything else fails , restore your stock firmware and try to root the phone again .
Best of luck !

iRuLu Expro X1

I had been looking for this in order to fix an irulu expro x1 tablet with much difficulty
after weeks of searching and trial and error i figured it out with some help from the net piecing info together
so now with my success i share with you:
1. shutdown tablet
2. power + vol ^ (hold till green android man)
3. power + vol ^ (might need to tap both multiple times, but be patient) enter recovery mode
4. scroll thru recovery menu, factory rest, clear cache, restart
5. now on pc extract zip file open sp flash tools folder, run application as administrator
6. load scatter file of X1048 x1049 xxxxx...
7. select all including preloader, instead of download only choose format all and download
8. hit download, make sure you power off tablet, then connect usb to pc
should show the red progress line, and after a few seconds begin flashing the tablet, allow it to do its thing till
green ok dialog button appears, power on and voila!!!
mod edit: pay per click link removed.
Is that file you posted a newer updated rom?(4.4.2 or better ?) And what exactly does this flash "fix" ?

sorry for the late responce, but the fix was for a virus, a very toublesome one by-the-way, that seemed to stay on the device even from a system reset, or from the recovery even after a wipe of cache/data/dalvic and what not... had been looking for the rom and couldnt find anywhere, had contacted the irulu site and we had multiple back and forth thru email... it was only however thru trial and error i found the correct rom which i posted for benefit of anyone who needs it.
also the fix was for an in-law but i believe it it was 4.4.2...
expro x1

My Irulu tablet does not have volume buttons.
Only power & esc buttons.
How do I get it into recovery mode then?
Hi all, I downloaded the firmware from Irulu for the 8-inch Expand x1s version, but I can not install it in Sideload ADB mode can you help me?
***fixed for irulu Inc through Android reset method
While it is on hold the power button and hit power off and when prompted to have it boot in quick mode hit yes. Turn on and it power button. And when asked to power off or reboot hold the power off link and agree to have safe mode activated. (Even if it was already activated the process of the irulu is quite similar to down syndrome so must repeat for the second time). Once off hold power and volume up till it brings recovery mode into display.

am looking the irulu tablet expro x1 x9 pro firmware

Soft or hard brick ?

Hi guys, i need your help please. I'm in latest stock rom version ==> WW_18.0610.2106.156 and yesterday, i flashed omnirom (omni-11-20211010-zenfone6-MICROG.zip) using official TWRP and unfortunately i've bricked my phone
So, when I press the volume key+ and the power button simultaneously, I no longer have access to the fastboot menu. It gives me a black screen with red led when the phone is plugged into a power source. When I keep pressing the power button to turn on the phone, the screen freezes on "powered by android" as you can see from the screenshots. Anyway, i downloaded the firmware https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397969054
and extract its content to a folder. Then i executed the file called update_image_EDL.bat script to recreate the partitions on my device and finally flashall_AFT.cmd but nothing is happening. It's written in the PC <waiting for any devices>.
I don't know what to do. Please help me thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english.
