Any way to remove the Verizon 4G LTE tramp stamp on the bottom of the M8? Maybe rubbing alcohol/nail polish remover? Any brave sole care to test?

The point is to not use a case. Or use a clear case to show off the design language of the device. I love Verizon's coverage (and my unlimited data), but hate their obnoxious branding...
I tried just a little acetone and it had no effect. I immediately thought, "that was a dumb thing to do" was thankful it didn't do anything to the finish and haven't tried anything since.
Maybe try some color matching tape?? lol

Just like the M7, its etched in not painted on. The only way to remove it would be to sand it out re-surface the entire back of the phone.

I put the name of the item in the title..

i like the kickstand cases but in my past experiences the clear plastic cases dont provide much shock protection if you drop your phone. if you can find a rubber case with that would be better protection.

you never said where, what it looks like, and never gave a link in your first post.
you should provide the appropriate amount of details in your post next time.

U said the name but u didn't say which one exactly. Its like saying "is this phone good" which phone? U need to be more specific.
Anyways, if it is a hard plastic like the other poster said there isn't much shock protection. Besides that if u do drop it the corners snap off, crack etc... also if you drop it in a strange way the kick stand mechanism itself...
If u are very very careful with your phone and u would use it at work or wherever a lot to watch movies to make the kickstand very valuable then I would say it would be a good buy for u

I mean for real how many times do you see people say "report post" if you dont like it, and its not even in the wrong section lol. I thought you were the OP untill i read the next post. I agree with bobsbbq let the mods mod. You dont want random customers trying to help you enter a new plan in the computer or sell a phone over at tmoble do ya? Is it really hurting you so much that you have to have it closed? wow.

Man you do the same thing. I got it from you guys. Thats the only reason I started it. The person above me said it and you didnt say jack sh*t to them. So GTFOH with that dude. Seriously and get off my nuts. you're being childish and i am sick of you. This is not kindergarten and you can't go around picking on people. All u had to do was PM me and I would have edited. Use better tact. sheesh.
I see hundreds off posts daily with people saying "close thread" and I do it once and you're all on my sack? Unless you plan on going through each one and correcting them you look like you're being a hater. You don't own XDA and I edited the post. Now stfu and stop cyber-stalking XDA.

I don't know or care who you learned it from. Just because others do it doesn't make it right.
As to the post above yours he was polite and pointing out there was also another thread of similar topic. He made no moderation comments.
This is not your first time, and it's not the first time someone has made a similar comment as mine to you. AKA this is not the first time someone has called you out on this issue.
Just because you see others doing it, does that make you want to copy their actions?
At most I was trying to let you know in a polite way how you are coming across to other members. And an easy way to report the post and save being known as a wannabe MOD.
Your right I don't own XDA and as such everyone has their own views and opinions.
You can take the comments I made however you want, but the intention was a little friendly advise from a very experienced and long time member of XDA
Peace

I'm torn. I love the sleekness of the sensation..but it feels a little slippery to me. My main reason, and probably most other users main, is protection. The thin and barely there cases only really help with scratches. i've dropped my phones on occasion so that is why i'm torn. I've tried to dedicate a pocket for it but that isnt working out lol. Always ends up with keys, lighter or my benchmade I've already had it replaced for damage and asurion only gives you 2 replacements so i gotta be careful. If they get this thing worked out and the bugs fixed, i'll probably put a case on it. If i gotta deal with bugs for months, i'll probably go naked and kinda hope (in the back of my mind) for it to get damaged a few more times so i can jump ship and get a better device
I want to root my Tmobile USA Sensation but I am clueless. I have never done this before so I was wondering if someone can give me a step by step guide.
Also, once I reboot the device, will it go back straight to stock version and not have any side effects?
You cannot perm-root at this time. Check the dev forum for temp-root options.

How to root sensation:
1) place in washer with light colored clothing. Darks will bleed and cause screen discoloration.
2) add mild detergent, no bleach.
3) do not use spin cycle, this may damage phone.
4) run washer. Phone should be rooted upon completion. Post results here.

In order for your post to be classified as "humorous"... wouldn't it have to be funny? I agree with him, your response was asinine. It's not about hurt feelings, it's about wasting the OP's time by responding in such a way that contributed neither substance nor helpfulness. If you want to work on your comedy skills, go to amateur night, not a thread by someone looking for help on XDA.

so, i got my One S, and i love it. except for one thing. the sim cover didn't come fully off when i got it, and i couldn't figure get it on again when i finally got if off, and now it's a little wobbly. not alot, but i can definitely feel it. sometimes i can click it in a bit. should i try removing it and then put it back on? i'm afraid it will only make the situation worse. thanks in advance. cheers
send it back just in case
I'll bet you can easily get a replacement cover piece either from Tmo or HTC. If it was me, I'd try that first.

I'm not sure if it is possible to create a higher capacity battery while still keeping the same dimensions of the original battery. If it was that simple, shouldn't HTC have done this themselves?

So what? Seriously, why does it matter? I use a lot of dots....................does it affect my content or intent?
People who feel the need to scold or correct others is a bigger problem here than any caps IMO. Been here at the One S forum for less than a week and had my fill of it. Wasn't this bad at the G2X side.

OK so to answer your question there is a way to change the battery say it becomes unusable, (Direct from T-Mobile tech support ) you can bring in the device to a service store and they can replacement it for you or upgrade it with an extended version that's made for it and there is a battery / case you can buy that fits over the device and doubles the life of the existing battery and protects the device at the same time.
Once I get mine in the mail this week (buy one get one free, I got two) I'll pull one apart and try to change out the sdcard to a 32gb (I guess it's gotta be cut on the left side to fit) and I'll report back with how I do.
But for the short answer, No and No with a side of lost topic abuse. Good luck...........

Actually it's been done already but I'm having a hard time finding the read through on it again but it shows you how to cut the SDCard ( along the side , it has to match the one taken from it.) so that it will fit the holder it locks into, it's not like the standard slot it actually has a plate over it.
If I find the breakdown again I'll post it but it actually doesn't look that hard to do but I think it didn't matter what kind of card it had to be as long as the casing was cut correctly.
I'm just not going to let this 32 gb SDCard go to waste even if I ruin one in the process I'll try anything once. I have pretty good hands though and because I'm use to soldering boards I think it shouldn't be too bad.
(If the information I got was correct too, you never know with the Net though.)
The information about the battery is valid though a tech at T-Mobile did say there is a battery that is made that will fit the case that you can upgrade it too but I didn't ask how much.

I'm very curious about this. I did a search last night, but couldn't find anything. Saw many interior pics but nothing w/ a card visible.
Any idea where you saw it?
The speeds from the internal storage are way faster than a typical micro sdhc, I'm not convinced that someone will find an sd card slot in there
