I'm confused.
Your thread title says Verizon won't let you do something, but the attached graphic lists Alltel.
Are you in the right forum?
I'm going to guess it's a grandfathered plan from when Verizon bought Alltel, that's how I became a Verizon user. If that's the case then why don't you just call them. Don't plan on keeping unlimited data if you have it.
Not really sure why a thread was needed for this. It's obvious you have to call them from your screenshot.
Case closed.

That's the conflict, I've been a Verizon customer for six years and I just got this message when I tried to upgrade my data plan

Yeah do you think that moving to a shared plan is an upgrade?

Which had nothing to do with the fact Google purchased Motorola's mobile division.

That was a foolish rumor from the start. Google selected the hardware manufacturer for the Galaxy Nexus in a competitive bidding process way back in Q1-Q2. You have to remember, these phones are in the works for the better part of a year or even longer before they actually hit stores. The Motorola purchase came way too late to have any impact on this generation of the Nexus.
Epic fail haha.

Ugh...something certainly is. Is that the fastest you get all the time? Indoors? Outside? Do you live in a bunker?
In your status bar, it looks like you don't have a very strong signal. Are things the same when you have better reception?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk
If your speeds are limited, you'd be getting 1/10th of the speeds in your speed test.
Are you grandfathered into the old unlimited plan?
I don't think you're being throttled. People who have get much slower speeds. I still can't phathom how you people use that much data lol.

Daaang. I remember when that was a flagship on Tmobile, and now it's free? It was also back when HTC still made qwerty sliders (of course, the G2 wasn't really a SLIDER, but you get the point)

They have to get rid of the old stock, so why not sell the phones they have repaired and/or stockpiled.

Did you order online? Did you have to call to have them activate the new SIM card? Or did it just automatically work?

Maybe the sgs3 sim card is an older version than the note2 or sgs4 sim card? Ever think of that? Although they could be full of crap and it was just a coincidence for the op

Idk my att store said they only have one LTE sim card. I said I have an s3 and they told me I don't need a new sim.

I know people have asked about focusing on a specific tower and I can see how and why that would be impossible, but I have a slightly different problem so I'm looking to take the blacklist approach.
Basically, I have moved over to FreedomPop which is a VoIP service with free data. The problem is I keep connecting to a particular couple towers locally with no data connection, not 3G or 4G, which makes the connection useless. I want to blacklist the towers with no data.
My phone is rooted and Xposed is installed, if that can help. My thought basically is to identify the tower(s) and nuke them from the home list or PRL, wherever it's hiding. Is this possible?
Thank you.
