I've downloaded it twice from two different sources, and both versions just freeze up. Has anyone gotten the new Hangouts to work?

EDIT: It appears XForceEnter was the culprit. Make sure you disable it in Xposed if you use it.
I downloaded from here with no problems.

Facing the same problem.
Can provide logcat if needed
Update:
@TheBiles

I bet you are using XForce Enter module.
Disabling it fixed it for me.
Anyone not able to merge hangout/sms with the same contact ?

Same problem. I was using MIUI 1.6.4 and it gave me an error once it finished downloading. Had to switch to CM6.1 in order to get the update. Hope they fix it because i'm addicted to MIUI.
I read somewhere that rebooting your phone or killing the process would solve the problem, yet neither worked for me. I need a solution!

Thanks to @hidea MOTO X is supported in my app.
UDN now has 2 navbar-hiding methods(v0.17):
-Safe via xposed (works everywhere except x86 devices)
-Dangerous way(by modificating build.prop). <-- this doesn't work on lots of devices including MOTO X, but does work on x86.
If you interested in trying it out, check these links:
Community Edition on XDA
PRO version in Google Play
LITE version in Google Play
P.S. Note that as of moment when I posted this message latest PRO and LITE versions are not yet appeared in Google Play, it will take ~2 more hours before v0.17 appear there.
Community Edition v0.17 is already uploaded to it's thread.

Hello guys! I'm the developer of Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. That's awesome app, but curently it does not work on MOTO X
Theoretically I found the way to make it work with your device, but I need to test it
So I creating this thread.
Is here anyone interested in helping me?
To help you need have cwm(or similar installed) + superuser on device.

Ok, cool
Since this method is individual yet, we need to go private:
mail me: pavel.sikun(at)gmail.com
I'll tell you what to do there
P.S. I just tested this method on several nexus-devices and 1stgen kindle fire - it works well.

works great, disabled navbar completely and using pie controls now via GravityBox =)
cheers
I really want to try this... But I don't want to break my phone
I followed the instructions and the app kind of worked, but it didn't remove the existing navbar. It instead made a new one on top of it. I read the FAQ and didn't see anything on this.

Guys, don't use dangerous method on moto x, cuz it may Brick the phone. Hide navbar through xposed module, that's safe.
P.S. BusyBox is required only for dangerous method. I forgot to remove checks after I added safe way.
I did the safe method. And it works fine. You just have to mess around with xposed and soft reboots for everything to work.
what is the easiest way to install busybox? i have framework and stuff running right and SU lists UDN as having root rights. so i think busybox is the only thing im missing?

Nevermind, I'll remove this message for this, who use xposed to hide navbar. BusyBox is needed only for dangerous method.
Update:
This app is working well now. I had to soft reboot exposed after enabling the module instead of reboot... After I had enabled exposed again. Noob problems.

Hi all I tried searching and googling and couldn't find the answer or someone else having my problem. When I try to add a new contact I get the error "Re-enable the people application to use this feature" simple enough right? The only issue is I do not have a People app in my app settings or app drawer. Any ideas? Can anyone post the apk if possible? Really clueless as to how this happened. Phone info: rooted 4.4.2 w/ busy box and xposed framework w/ gravity box.
Thank you,

Hi,
You have deleted or disabled the contact app...?
In Settings/Apps/All see if you have Contacts or go to the disabled tab and see if the Contacts app is there, if yes re-enabled it...
If deleted, take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50542791, I posted some flashable zip file for the Contacts app.

Having the same problem. Never had this on my other devices only on the N5. Uninstalling/Fresh Instal doesn't change a thing. It's like it doesn't get a connection at all. Like it's blocked

same here ;(
The same issue. Any ideas?
same here for more than two weeks now...nothing works only thing left is a format and reinstall of OS perhaps to make it work!
Am ready to give up on the stupid tapatalk app forever!!!
wonder what the alternatives to this app are?
Bump!
Still stuck on this error. Reinstalling didn't change a thing.
No solutions yet?
hi..
same error with me..tapatalk is not working because of any dns changer..? like set dns or oneclick vpn..?
Disable Ad Blocker
I was getting this error as well. What worked for me was reverting the host file in Adfree. Looks as if Adfree was blocking access to the Tapatalk servers.
Hope this helps!

I do not see an option in adfree to add directories to white list..,,
I had to install Tapatalk v 2.4.1 to be able to use it..the new one will not connect...even if I uninstall adfree and clear cache, it still won't connect
You manage it in adfrees web GUI:
http://adfree.bigtincan.com/
Login and manage your whitelist
Then you have to update the hosts file using the app.
