I just installed Slim Rom build 6 which comes with latest Gapps and have Hangouts. I know it suppose to replace the gTalk but is there a way to get back the gTalk?

OK I can remove the hangouts but the where can I find a gTalk version previous to hangouts?

isnt gtalk included in gapps?just download an older version of gapps(4.1.2 for example) and extract gtalk from it. That should work

UPDATE: NEWEST UPDATE on market version 2.1.0.216852 is available I recommend you UNinstall this and install the update on the market its nicer and looks similar to this but works better.
Android-police has found a Google+ app from ICS that has been leaked.
If you want to test it you can find it here: http://db.tt/RbDVdfu6
If you have Google+ installed you must first uninstall the old version before you install this.

well it is just an apk so I mean it should be fine.
it is the same reason it makes infinite view forceclose on x10, installing it breaks the link to your google+ contacts

yeah it's any rom that the contacts link to it I think.

Just FYI, this breaks my contacts on CM7.1 on Nexus One. Had to uninstall, then install market version to fix. Acore kept crashing when viewing a contact.

I just googled file name. That's why I was not sure
by the way just downloaded and tried, not working. Other device forums talks about some lib files are required. Now Its too late for me (3.30am). Will check it tomorrow.

Thank you for the apk. Quick question.. In the playstore it is still showing a previous version installed but titanium backup shows version 4.5. I made a backup of 4.5 so should i delete the playstore version and restore the backup of 4.5 in titanium?

Yes. That should work.
Has anyone been able to get this update to go into dual panel/tablet mode using PA's hybrid settings? It worked fine on all previous versions but I can't get this one to change no matter what settings I use.

You have to use an app to change the DPI of the Gmail app so it will go into tablet mode. It will work for any app that has a tablet mode. Some ROMs, like Vanilla RootBox, has PA hybrid settings built in. That allows you to change DPI on a per app basis. If your ROM doesn't have hybrid settings you will need to download xposed. It can do the same thing and be installed on any ROM. Just so you know, you can install xposed on a Sense ROM and use it but I couldn't get anything to ever change to tablet mode. I don't think there is a tablet mode in Sense. Best to use an AOSP ROM. The problem is, I can't get it to work on the newest gmail update.

I need to uninstall and wipe data of the version 4.1.8. Afterwards I can install this but as long as I launch v5.0, it installs the previous twitter from the play store and then starts force closes...
Edit: Didn't know that I should disable Auto-Update from the play store. Cancelled that and now it works..
This one is Beta 8 apk and Beta 13 is the latest one I think. Anyone has it? Please to share if you have.

The AOSP music player hasn't changed since like 2.3 or something, GP is the default
