Hello, I have a HTC Trophy that supports 802.11b/g/n wireless.
With "Advanced Configuration" you can select the box that says Enable 802.11n mode and use it. (well this is what it says).
However what is the best to use on your phone? Leave it default or enable this option ?
I know the differences between g and n protocols but is the 100+mbps the n supports is useful to the phones?
Thank you for your opinions.
basicly you asking:
if i have a faster internet access is it in any way better for me?
simple awnser yes
as long as your router supports it...
Also depends whether you are surfing the net (no point) or doing something on your home network (could be beneficial)
Hello and good day,
I have a Nokia N75, Nokia N95 and Nokia N900 that I am trying to use for a field test of emergency communications using ad hoc networks. Basically I am asking if there is an engineering mode available that would allow for me to turn off A5/1 encryption (use A5/0 or A5/2) on any of these phones so that they can be used with the other equipment that we have?
Thank you and regards,
Eric
Does anyone know why the Nitrous ROM switches from 4g to 3g connection when you turn on hotspot? I've searched and can't find any info on it. I start out with a good 4g connection, switch on hotspot, and connection switches to 3g (but hotspot works). Great ROM otherwise though!
Is possible to connect to Ad-Hoc network use Photon Q, THX for your anwser
Is there a way to display the used GSM mode of the Nexus 5?
E. g. GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, etc.
There was / is a GSM service menu in Samsung devices (*#0011#). So, Android should be capable to display this.
