Screen Dimensions of The HTC One M8? - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Hello all. I bought a glass screen protector for my HTC One M7. It's being fixed by HTC. Best Buy has a great deal on the M8, so I went ahead and bought one.
Someone who owns an M8, could you share the dimensions of just the screen? I'm thinking of putting the glass screen protector of the M7 on the M8. I'm thinking that it will also work on the M8, and just cover the screen of it. Here are the dimensions of the glass screen protector that I originally bought for the M7.
Height - 4 and 5/8 in
Width - 2 and 1/2 in
Diagonal (Screen Size) - 5 and 3/16 in
I'm without both phones for about a week, so this is torture, and I don't want to go into Verizon and look silly with my glass screen protector up against an M8 display. This information will also help others out. Is it possible to buy full screen protectors for the M7 when they go on sale and use them to cover just the screen of the M8?

[Q] Sensation/Vibrant Screen Protector Help!

I have a Samsung Vibrant since July of last year. My screen protector just feel off today. I'm going to buy a HTC Sensation on June 8th. I've read posts about how it has the Gorilla Glass screen. What is the difference from this screen and the screen on the Vibrant?
Should I buy another protector for my Vibrant? And for my HTC Sensation when I get it.
I work at a Body shop and the phone sometimes gets dirty with dust, It's been dropped about two times since I got it but nothing on the screen. Obviously the screen protector had some scratches on it. Am I just over thinking it?
Thanks in advance for the help!
i recomend you buy both screen protectors for sensation and vibrant. just so you dont regreat it later on and its only 10 bucks or less.
does the bevelled screen on the sensation affect the application of the screen protector at all?
The HTC Sensation has a contoured screed display making it more difficult it to get scratched. "Supposedly" the Sensation will have Gorilla Glass. I had the Vibrant and I've been told and have read in several different places that it has Gorilla glass... I have also seen posts where Gorilla glass is still scratchable so I do suggest a screen protector just in case.
Depending on what screen protector you get the bevelled screen shouldn't be too much of an issue
I HAVE to have a screen protector on my devices. Although they say its really hard to scratch, little scratches do appear.
Anyone know if the official HTC screen protectors are any good?

Got the HTC screen protectors (2 protectors) then i applied the protector as soon as i got the phone. However the sides around the screen where the screen lips up dont seem to stick on (bubbles) however the rest of the screen is fine. not sure if its me but ive had many phones over the years and never had a problem applying screen protectors. i ripped it off any how after a day and stuck a spare desire screen cover on it for now, no air bubbles it almost fits the screen but missing about 2-4 mm at the bottom. will buy some non htc screen protectors on fea-bay and try again.

10 for £3.45 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PACK-10-SCREE...sesPouches&hash=item25640c6d8b#ht_2246wt_1139
Did you try and hold down the sides and rub it down for a couple of mins?
I'll probably use a case instead of a screen protector. I think this case looks nice! http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/...=0&searchstring=htc+sensation&urlrefer=search

screen protector - what is the right size?

I ordered a tpu case + screen protector for ebay , great price only £1.95 delivered.
I am not bothered about the screen protector, as i have a pack of seven full lenth ones on order, it`s more to get the seller to send the right screen protector for other buyers.
Now the tpu case is great, but the screen protector is too small, in both leanth and width, It`s only 110mm x 55mm , and the top and bottom are slightly rounded, as are the corners, I emailed the seller and this is the reply, see below.
Also is the sensation screen not totally flat?
Thanks
John.

Hi
Thanks for contacting us. We have been informed by our suppliers that we have been supplied the correct size screen protector for the HTC Sensation. The screen protectors are designed to be smaller than the screen. It is due to screen on the Sensation not being completely flat, it is slightly raised at the edges, a bit like a plate. If the screen protector were the same size as the screen it would not stick correctly.
The size you should have been sent is 107mm x 55mm. If you have a different size to this it is possible that you have been sent the incorrect one, in which case we apologise and will send the correct size for your phone.
Please could you let us know so we can resolve this issue for you.

I got full size screen protectors from ebay, and due the curved screen it didn't attach correctly, and peel off very quickly.
If you want full screen protector, you need to look for the ultra thin and ultra clear ones.
they are very thin and can be molded to follow the curve of the sensation screen.
Yeah, I have a pack of seven of the recommended ones, coming from the US , the ones you heat up with an hair-dryer.
John.
Try to search up iShieldz, by far the best screen protector, wet apply but covers every inch. Try to find it on ebay or an online site ?
I got some from ebay which are a bit short and only cover the flat part of the screen. They do the job and the edges can only be seen when the the screen is off.
I also noticed that some supply protectors that are smaller than needed and my first one I got with case was same...
But later I got this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220921502767?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 from fleabay and it was correct full size. I thought it might be hard to apply at first, but it went rather smooth, after removing top protective layer I was able to go around the edges and it curved in perfectly, now is full size of screen.
I'm currently using the matte full screen
it is slightly smaller than the screen, I was only able to "curve" the protector in 2 corners, the other 2 now has bubble and won't stick to the screen at all (one at the search button, the other one a the HTC logo) it's not that bad, just ugly
I used to have the Zagg shield on it, used it for awhile, then got annoyed by the feel of it, not the best touchscreen experience... kinda squeaky, not as smooth as traditional flat protector, but it does the job well, cover every millimeter on it
are the official ones from HTC full screen size?
enjoy this one.
Genuine SP P540 Invisible Screen Protector for HTC Sensation
perfect size!
ishieldz is the same as CParmor™ and Zagg™ ones "Made from military grade material used for protecting helicopter rotor blades"
i've used Terrapin screen protectors - they're pretty good and the right size, etc, the only problem is they are not matte
The material is the same in theory... but ive used all three, iShiedz has a enormous difference. No rainbow effect after installing and orange peel effect. As well, no scratching. I got 4 Zagg's, all had that problem. Never again. Now im good
Try these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190552613736?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
You also get MATTE but only x3 not x6 same price

where to buy nexus 5 screen?

Hello!
I broke the screen of my nexus 5 white. Where i can buy the original parts or a replacement with a good quality ?
Thanks
The whole front glass, lcd, and bezel are fused. Just go to ebay.
I found a lot of screen with frame, the quality is similar to the original? I can take any screen or i have to buy from a specific seller to have good quality parts?
I bought one of these and it's a great screen imo I can't tell any difference http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221601297816&alt=web

Rig Screen Protector

Hello,
Was just wondering if anyone has used a screen protector from a different phone to protect the screen of your 6P? I am receiving mine today and my screen protector has yet to even ship, I was thinking maybe the original NEXUS 6 Screen protector would work if I were to cut it down to size a bit, and hopefully my verizon store has them in stock.

Galaxy S8+ vs. OnePlus 5t | Durability and screen protectors

Hi everybody!
Usually I'm only reading stuff here on xda, but I need your help to make a decision this time.
After I had an LG G4 for more than 2 years I decided to get a new phone.
Since the S8 is currently best in design aspects, I bought a S8+ nearly 2 Weeks ago.
Until now I wasn't brave enough to pull off the factory screen protector, because I haven't found a good tempered glass screen.
After reading certain reviews and threads here on xda, saying that there is no perfect fitting protector because of the curved screen, I think about sending it back and getting another phone, like the OnePlus 5t.
I also read that using the phone without a protector isn't an option either, because it scratches quickly.
There are 2 days left in which I can send the phone back without any reason, so I have to make a decision, but I'm not sure what to do.
The 5t has also a curved 2.5D glass, so those screen protectors also won't protect the whole display, but most of it and more than on the S8.
On the other hand my LG G4 had no problems with the tempered glass i put on at all. (Maybe I should keep that one for one more year.)
What do you think? Is it really that bad to protect the S8?
Thanks in advance!
