FAQ
Q: I saw you posted a screen shot of the AOSP lock screen, how can I get that as well?
A: Use something like Root Explorer from the Playstore, and navigate to system/priv-app and re-name HtcLockScreen.apk to HtcLockScreen.apk.bak - then reboot. To remove rename back to .apk
Q: Will you do so and so MOD for this ROM? Will you add this or that?
A: I don't know. Feel free to ask and I will give you an honest answer. As I do aim to please the users, I can't please everybody.
Q: Does this ROM update my firmware, or radio/baseband? What about PRL?
A: No. No. And No. This, much like most ROMs (can't speak for everyone..) does NOT update your firmware, your radio/baseband, PRL, Hboot, or any of that. This is simply the ROM, nothing more. You need to flash hboot, firmware, recovery, radio, etc outside of this ROM and thread. Please do not use this thread as a how-to for these things.
Q: What is the Odex Test ROM? Ex. Bonestock_v1.3-OT.zip - Depreciated! Do NOT use - Android 4.4.3
A: Sense 6 started packaging their applications differently. Before, you had the classes.dex held within the .odex file, hence when you deodex you combine these two into one .apk, removing the .odex files. With Sense 6, although there is an .odex file, their is also the classes.dex held within the .apk. What does this mean?
There is talk of just physically deleting the .odex file will simply result in a deodexed ROM rather than using say, the Android Kitchen as has been done since.. I've been making ROMs and far far longer.
Why did HTC do this you ask? Possibly for ART, I am not sure.
So the Odex Test is just that, I simply deleted the .odex files rather than the tradition deodex route. If you want to use the tradition deodex method you can use the provided ROM.
Only the ROM with the label "-OT.zip" will be done this way.
I am offering both ways to see if any ROM has better results.
Please feel free to try both methods as OT is what I personally use and haven't seen any issues, so I consider it stable.
@scrosler filled me in on how and why it ART works the way it does, and was correct, the OT-test IS the correct method for deodexing Sense 6.0. This is how you can be on a Deodexed ROM and run ART. I edit all my applications by hand hard coding the MODs/tweaks which break ART - so ART will not work on v2.0. There are ways to go about editing the applications and keep ART, but I am not sure if this has been done, and if it has, I don't know what needs to be done to get ART working, so if you NEED ART, I apologize but this ROM will not be supporting it at the current moment. (9/20/14 -- v2.0 -- 2.21.605.2 OTA)
Q: What do I do with the Harmon/Kardon .zip if I don't flash it!? - Depreciated! Do NOT use on Android 4.4.3
A: As this MOD requires flashing a new ADSP.img (Advanced Digital Signal Processor) you are required to do this using fastboot and ADB. You should be familiar with ADB from using Firewater to get S-OFF as S-OFF is needed for this to work. Download the .zip to your computer, then extract the contents using your favorite extractor, I use 7-zip personally (on windows). Within the contents you will find a "How-To.txt" file, open that up and it explains what to do from there. Basically you have 3 files within the .zip, 1. the how-to.txt 2. a flashable.zip 3. a fastboot .zip. As explained in the How-to.txt one of these you flash in recovery, and the other is installed using fastboot

Sorry about that.
Yay, bnestock on the m8! Loved your ROM for the s4, can't wait to flash it.
I haven't run this (yet) but I know this guy does excellent work. Check this thing out, you won't regret it. If his s3 and m7 ROMs speak for anything, there's few ROMs more stable than this (if any, after all this is stock with hardcoded MODs).
Yay! You responded to my pm a little late! ?

Wow flashing in a few. Download

Well this looks very promising. I think I'll wait till the V1.1 update though. I hate having to set up my phone every time a ROM updates. Running Viper one right now. The customazations in that ROM are real neat but I like simple, super fast, and stable. Although I will admit I like my ROMS with as much black as possible it's easier to see the contrast and saves on battery life. Black pixles use almost no power. I can't belive the amount of developement for this device already.
I think I'll hold out and wait until 1.1. I loved your work on the GS3! Looking forward to flashing this. One thing though is I like how the status bar color changes depending on what app you're in like green for BlinkFeed etc. Any way to add that in if we like that? Thanks again!
1.1 will be a patch my friends. flash away
for now though, in post #2 you can find fixes for MEssaging in Extreme Power Saving Mode, and the updated Prism.apk

Sounds good, thank you.
Task Manager - missing? Nothing, Gaining? A stock Task Manager, allows you to see how much free RAM and the ability to kill running applications.
It does not show up in the app drawer (I need to look into this, it may just be because it needs to be installed with ROM, rather than later, so to open it, hit menu button on home screen then task manager. if you don't have this installed, when you click it on home screen it will simply say app not installed.

Welcome to the ClearDroid ROM!
Code:
This ROM is a first from me, ClearD.
While it should be stable, I am NOT responsible if you
lose data/damage your device/cut yourself on sharp
edges/turn your device into a thermonuclear explosive/
melt kittens/create brain-hungry zombie Ronald McDonalds/
anything else bad that I forgot to mention. That said,
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
The purpose of this ROM is to give you a near-stock experience with a few added features. It is not going to be loaded down with everything under the sun, and if at all possible, I want it to remain so that you won't even have to wipe your stock ROM before installing this. However, should something not work as it should (for example, app sideloading), make a full Titanium backup, then do a full wipe before installing again, then restore the app data you need through Titanium. Beginning with version 1.0.3, the need for a full wipe may become more necessary, as more system files get changed. In order to use SetCPU with the stock kernel (ClearDroid versions before 1.2.4), make sure you press "menu" and select "Disable PerfLock" first.

-Green Gradient Smooth Circle Battery Mod
-Extended Power Control Menu (or Power Control Widget)
-Extended Shutdown Menu (contains recovery, etc)
ISSUES:
-The Modpack is currently based off of the Desire HD framework, and thus removes the H+ icon and also turns your 5-bar battery signal meter into a 4-bar meter. It does NOT remove your 4G, nor does it change your signal strength. This is a work in progress to port over the Inspire framework next.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Post below!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Before Installation:
-Make sure that you have cleared cache and dalvik cache in clockworkmod.
-Make sure that all covers are back on the device (MicroSD and battery door).
-Make sure you are formatted into EXT3 (the format that came with the Inspire) and not EXT4, which some other ROMs use.
-Do NOT use any Task Managers, Task Killers, Task Murderers, or Task Rapists applications with Android!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Also, if you feel a need to run an AntiVirus application on your device, BE SURE YOUR ROM WORKS PROPERLY BEFOREHAND. I have had numerous reports of users with errors that are Task Manager and AntiVirus app related. Also, READ THE PERMISSIONS BEFORE INSTALLING APPS. If a game requests to view your phone book, DON'T INSTALL IT. IT'S SHADY.
After Installation:
-Make sure you do NOT reinstall all system apps and data through titanium backup. The system apps change from build to build, and if you're installing the old data to the new apps, it will only cause problems and force closes.
-Once again, I reiterate, do NOT use any Task Managers, Task Killers, Task Murderers, or Task Rapists applications with Android!!!! IT'S SHADY.
Questions and Answers:
Q: I flashed the FroYo ModPack, and the "+" is gone from my "H+" icon... did I lose my 4G?
A: No, it is still there, but some of the framework-res.apk files in the modpack had to be taken from the Desire HD in order for it to function properly. Since the Desire HD doesn't HAVE the H+ icon, it is missing, however your 4G connection is still there.
Q: I flashed the new radio and latest ROM, but my battery seems to be draining faster than ever. Is this normal?
A: Try flashing the radio one more time AFTER you flash the ROM, then charge battery to 100%, go into the "advanced" menu in clockworkmod, and "erase battery stats". Reboot the phone, and give it a couple of days to recalibrate the battery and you should be golden.
Q: I tried to flash one of the ROMs, but I keep bootlooping... what's going on?
A: Make sure that if you're coming from another ROM that you first install the proper Radio that ClearDroid uses, then do a full wipe along with a dalvik cache wipe (in advanced menu). This should guarantee a successful boot. If you've installed the A2SD version, make sure you have created an EXT3 or EXT4 partition on your microSD card using ROM Manager before installation.
Q: I flashed the new ROM, but my GPS is not working, or sporadic at best?
A: Try flashing the preferred radio a few more times after you've flashed the ROM. Also, try powering down your phone and removing the battery for around 30 seconds, then placing it back in and powering back up. For your first GPS lock, go outside in an open area so that the satellites have the best possible line of sight to you. After you gain an initial lock, subsequent locks will be faster, as your phone "knows where it is". Double and triple check that your battery door and MicroSD cover are on the device tightly, as these contain small contacts that will affect your radio signal. Take off any cases (such as OtterBox) from the device for your first initial lock.
Q: I have an app that is force-closing, what should I do?
A: Go to the market and update the application. If it doesn't update, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If this does not work, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All, select the application that is messing up, and clear its data and cache.
Q: Why won't my device go into bootloader when restarted holding volume down + power?
A: Make sure USB Debugging is on and Fastboot is off. If these are correct, on your phone, hold the power button and press "Restart", and hold volume down as the phone is restarting. It will vibrate as the screen goes black, then boot into HBOOT as the screen comes back up. If this does not occur, there may be a hardware problem with your phone.
A (alternate): Download and flash the modpack through clockworkmod, then boot the phone. Hold the power button, select "Restart", then "Bootloader". Your device will reboot into bootloader. If neither of these methods work, your device may also have a corrupt bootloader.
haha nuclear war. No but seriously once my phone charges I'll flash it and give it a drive down the block and back.
Will flash and post results.

Any idea where I can find this? I do enjoy black themes...
EDIT: Also guys... this is my first ROM ever. So if you have input, please let me know. Anything you want added/changed/etc.
I'm also looking for a nice ClearDroid logo boot screen, if anyone is good with making graphics.

Assuming it works, it will be going in version 1.0.2 tomorrow. I'm also adding Adfree Android, but not actually ENABLING it in the Rom, so you guys can choose to enable it or not. It messes with Words with Friends, but it nicely takes the ads away from everything else.
And a splash screen is what I need to make with a logo of some type.

It will work just has to be renamed ATT_bootanimaition.zip and placed in >resources>customize.
Let me know what you want for a splash screen and I can try and make one. From what I have read it has to be flashed like an .img, but I'm not entirely sure.
Finally ... some ROM action not based off of the Desire HD. Thank you, I will be downloading this tonight to try out.

There are 2 ROMs by TPC that are based off stock Inspire as well. Those work great, haven't tried this one, but may if I get bored with the others.
ClearD, just wanted to wish you luck with your new rom. Nice job.
Thanks guys Version 1.0.2 will be out tonight, if all goes well.
I like it because there are no patches, no APNs will be needed, no modifications at all. It will work right out of the box.
Anyone having any issues so far? Likes? Dislikes?
I'm having a lot of trouble getting the boot animation to stick. Definitely not stored where it should be... It's now booting to a black screen instead of showing anything at all, then loading into the ROM as normal. =/

Alien ROM provides a concocted stew of TouchWiz, and Gingerbread for your Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Samsung's TouchWiz functionality stays intact, but the Alien theme brings a slight hint of traditional Gingerbread to the party. There are very few theme changes with this ROM.Official Beta Tester signature:

It's not working when I install! I'm receiving force closes, sitting at bootloops, etc.
Make sure you're installing the ROM correctly. Remember that kernels, MODs, radios, and carriers can mess with your phone's performance and workability.
I'm not on AT&T and this ROM is completely broken!
This ROM is not necessarily designed for international compatibility. Please wait for future updates or attempt an install with a proper international kernel.
Why is my device running/booting slowly?
Your first boot will take an unimaginably long time. After that, your device will continue to run slowly until the application cache is built up. Don't worry, the speed will increase as you use the ROM!
Why is my battery life bad?
Your battery life is often killed when flashing ROMs in CWM. For the best battery life, you must drain your device’s battery until it turns off. Plug the device into the AC adapter and let it charge until the image says 100% charged. Then turn it on and use the volume buttons to boot into CWM. Click Wipe Battery Stats under the advanced menu. Then you should charge to 100% and install the ROM. Battery life should be comparable to (if not better than) every other ROM.
Where's my bloatware?
Alien deletes unnecessary bloatware that can be replaced by better applications in the Android Market. If you'd like the bloatware back, you can download the "bloatware.zip" from here.
Why isn't there a battery mod?
You can cook your own battery mod using the UOT kitchen. If you'd like the one I use, you can grab it here.
I thought Alien ROM was by KennethPenn, what the...?
Unfortunately, Kenneth is currently not able to continue development of Alien ROM for the SGSII SR without a phone to develop on. This is an authorized continuation of his work. Please show your support for his work by visiting BriefMobile.
Changelog:
Alien #6
Reverted brightness changes.
Added "Internet call settings" for SIP settings in Phone options.
Added "Network mode selection" (will not stick across reboots with AT&T modems but will stick for the current session).
Added "Stay Awake" development options (will not stick across reboots).
Alien #5.5 (full wipe required due to NFC and BT fixes)
Fixed NFC FC. Breaks Google Wallet, but that didn't really work anyway.
Hopefully fixed Bluetooth.
Added Roboto FlipFont (Settings -> Display -> Screen display -> Font style)
General file cleanup.
No change to frameworks, so the PDroid links in first post and any battery mods you've already cooked will still work fine.
Alien #5 (full wipe recommended if you use NFC)
No more Carrier IQ! It is still technically embedded in framework, but it is completely disabled. This allows MMS to work fine! After the first boot, you should wait about 10 minutes and then reboot. You can then verify there is no iqd process or Agent running. See known issues below if it somehow re-enables.
All system APKs have been re-packed. This solves a problem that occurred with Alien #4 and the "Android System" using more battery than intended. For the nerds, it was constantly running a garbage collection process for ~1 hour after a reboot.
Updated to use my stock kernel. This allows you to use BLN by simply installing the app from the Market. If you have no desire to use BLN, that's fine - no extra battery, etc is used by default.
Bluetooth fixes for HID devices (may fix other issues too).
NFC APK was resigned. This allows you to install the Google Wallet attachment in the first post. Unfortunately, our phone does not have a SecureElement so its unusable. But I have made this change in case some people have SIM cards with SecureElements in them (this is how ISIS will work).
Other minor changes and tweaks based on feedback in this thread.
Known issues:
Flash player seems finicky when installing the ROM. Uninstalling and re-installing through the Market seems to fix it.
Changing the Wi-Fi sleep policy increases battery drain. This is common across many phones and ROMs.
If choosing power off from the Power menu just reboots the phone, you have the first version of Alien #4. Apply the update zip from here in CWM or update to Alien #5+.
If Carrier IQ is re-enabled, simply reboot the phone which will trigger the NoCIQ script again. Wait roughly 5 minutes and reboot once more and Carrier IQ should be gone again. I've never personally seen Carrier IQ be re-enabled, but it is theoretically possible for AT&T to do.
If you are having FC bombardment issues after a reboot and you have ever installed Alien #3, then you will need to use stock recovery (3e) to factory reset, reinstall CWM and finally flash Alien #4 or newer. Wiping data in CWM, factory reset in Settings -> Privacy, etc will NOT work!
Miscellaneous:
If you want to enable "Preferred install location" in Settings -> Applications, run the following through an ADB shell and reboot:
Code:
sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db 'update system set value="1" where name="set_install_location";'
Sweet will try this. Thank you

I think so. I was able to reproduce them on build 3. They occur because /data was read-only due to filesystem errors. I've changed the install script in an attempt to fix the problem. You may have to wipe data once using stock recovery if you are currently experiencing the problem, but I'm hopeful it won't recur anymore after that.

Thanks, I'm looking into this. I noticed it on my phone, but I have a custom kernel (soon to be published as well) and thought maybe it was my kernel. Are you using the kernel that came with the ROM (which is stock but a custom ramdisk)?

No, wipe data through stock recovery (flashed via Odin). If you aren't having the FC issue, then you don't need to worry.
Nice work. Any plans to nix ciq?

Thanks for getting this to #4!
I'm getting the FC bombardment on restarting the device for the first time after initial successful boot.
prior to #4 installation while running #3, I wiped data from OS privacy menu, then flashed #4 from CWM. FC bombardment on restarting the device for the first time after repeat #4 installation.
Going to stock recovery now to wipe data, then I'll try again! I wasn't sure if you expected the same FC problems or not on this version, so I thought I'd report!
*update*: in stock recovery factory reset.
Alien #4 booted w/o issue, restarted twice. Headed back to Odin for some more CWM.

Not recommended, is you really want to, use the one that came with the rom.(Lee would say, NO!)
Q 7: Backup? What is that?
A good idea is to back up all your data and settings from the phone before flashing a new rom with a full wipe. Best app available is Titanium Back up(included in the ROM)
The best way to back up the contacts is to sync it via HTC Sync or via your gmail.
Q 8: Are Nandroid and Titanium backup the same thing? How do I manage backups?
No, Nandroid backs up the ROM and Titanium backs up the applications. Nandroid is what you do using the recovery and it makes the exact image of your ROM along with the data.
Q 9: On what occasion will I lose my data (apps, contacts etc)?
Only when you flash the rom wiping data using the Aroma installer option. (see next question, Answer 3). When you just flash a rom or a .zip from recovery, it will not wipe anything unless otherwise mentioned.
Q 10: I was on stock (or another rom from another cook) and I flashed LeeDroiD ROM, now I am having some problems.1. Try to rebooting the Phone and see if it makes a difference.
2. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik, reboot the phone and clear data of the apps causing problem.
3. Reboot into recovery, reflash the rom choosing full wipe in the installer.
Q 11: How do I flash Full wipe or Superwipe and what does it erase?Reboot into recovery, install a zip from sd card option, select the rom, follow the Aroma installer and select "Flash with wiping all (or something to that effect )
Q 12: The screen is not very responsive and is lagging.
Let the phone settle down a bit after you unlock it. It generally needs a few seconds to kick up the CPU.
Q 13: The market is not installing anything. Gives error.
Reboot into recovery and select “clear cache partition”. And under settings - applications - Manage applications - under the Market app < Clear Data>.
Q 14: My battery is draining heavily.
When you first flash a ROM this is what happens. Give it atleast one full charge cycle and it should come back to normal. If required, reboot into recovery and clear battery stats. It is advisable to do so on 100%.
Common Opinion - Heavy battery drain is one thing that you cannot complain about on this rom, for sure. The battery life is much above average
It's NOT recommended to empty the battery, it may course a poorer battery performance and life cyclus.
Read what member Wolfraim discovered HERE
Q15: Should I run the phone battery to zero percent, and what if it does??
A: Absolutely not! Both the current recoveries are giving problems while pulling the battery up from zero percent. If the phones dies off due to battery being zero, try to reboot it into recovery, flash the stock recovery. If it doesnt, then plug it into the wall charger and leave it for as long as it takes for you to boot it. Then flash the stock recovery, charge it fully and do your stuff.
Q16: MMS Problem?
A: Please check your APN settings.
Q17: Some games that use the motion/G sensor are not working as they should.
A: Re-Calibrate your Gsensor –> Settings – Display – Gsensor Callibration
Q18: I dont like the animations. Dont want them.
A: Go to settings - display - animations.
Q19: How do I change the bootanimation or the downanimation?
A: System\Customize\Resource or System/Data/Local. Replace the boot/down animation.zip file with the one you want. The new file must be named bootanimation.zip/downanimation.zip.
Q20: Can I modify frequencies using SetCPU/System tuner or similar?
A: Yes You can.
Q21: GPS Problems?
A: Try faster fix app here from the market. Has helped a few members.
Q22: I am having difficulties assigning ringtones from my SD card on the 4.0 sense.
A: Go to contact, select ringtone. Select ADD where it shows a list of system ringtone - Now it should take you to your music and tones on the SD card. Select the one that you want and click OK. Back on the system ringtones, scroll to find the newly added tone and select it.
Thanks for kind assistance as always to my dear friend Senior Moderator PG101

A pretty annoying data bug (switching from utms to hspa and back constantly, losing signal during gps use) and no wifi calling to name a few.

Wifi calling is a must anyway and I can add it to a UK rom to be used with Orange signal boost..
The signal issues should just be a build.prop string mod relating to network settings.. but dont quote me on that.. will grab a US RUU and compare asap
This rom has it all! This will be my first LeeDrOiD ROM! I've always heard great things about it but have never been fortunate enough to be on the same device until now! After reading through your OP I can definitely see what all the hype is about! Definitely gonna be my DD! It's got everything included! Thanks LeeDrOiD!

Build date: Tue Dec 18 13:58:38 KST 2012Kernel Info:
Kernel release thread: CLICK HERE
Original kernel: savie4hyperion kernel build 1 - special kernel built by savie
Developer: savie The Hyperion Project for Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360Hyperion project began August 2012 with the aim of bringing better user experience for everyone. The first version
of Hyperion release was version 6 (Hyperion 6 GM Final Public Build) and that is because the previous versions isn't
much of a success. From then, Hyperion has become one of the most successful ROMS ever made for Galaxy Y.
In the past few months, XDA has become a harsh environment for Hyperion to grow so we decided to take a break
and re-think everything.
In my humblest way to say thank you to this community, I present to you the new Hyperion. Faster, Smarter and Better than ever!

[DOWNLOAD] Mod edit: link removed until kernel sources can be posted.HOW TO INSTALL - FOR NEW USERS
Requirements:
Odin Communicator v1.85
Stock Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360 ROM for your region
USB Data cable
Temporary CWM by Doky
Before you proceed, you must ensure that:
If you have a SD card with EXT partition (EXT2/3/4), you must remove these partition to avoid problems with apk installation later on.
If you are coming from another custom ROM, you must revert to stock ROM first.
USB drivers are properly installed on your computer.
NOTE:
If you will not remove EXT partitions, some apps that we're moved to EXT partition may show up in your phone but may not work properly. Perfect example are launchers.
Step 1: Prepare your phone
Backup all your contents to your computer
Sync all your contacts, calendars and other data to you Google Account
Remove all EXT partitions in your SD card using Mini Tool Partition Wizard
Step 2: Revert to stock ROM
Flash stock ROM from your region using Odin. If you need help on how to flash stock ROM using Odin, read my Guide to Flashing ROMs and Kernels in XDA-Developers forum.
After flashing, leave your device for 1-2 minutes to completely boot up.
Connect your device to your computer and put it to USB Mass Storage mode and copy TempCWM.zip and Hyperion zip package that you want to install to your SD card.
After copying, turn off your phone and proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Flash Hyperion
Boot to Android System Recovery mode by pressing volume up key + home button + power key for 3 seconds or untill you see the Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360 screen.
After that, immediately release the keys and press it again until the recovery shows up.
In recovery, select install zip from sd card.
After that, select TempCWM.zip from the list.
After that, you will then see ClockWorkMod Recovery with texts in yellow color.
In ClockWorkMod Recovery, select mounts and storage.
Mount /system, /data, cache.
Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.
Select advanced and debugging.
Select wipe dalvik cache and wipe batterystats.bin (optional).
Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.
Select wipe data/factory reset.
Select wipe cache.
Select install zip from sd card.
Select choose zip from sd card.
Select Hyperion zip package (eg. HYPERION-8.PRE-GM.BUILD.02.zip).
After flashing, reboot your phone.
NOTES:
Boot time make take 1-5 minutes from stock ROM
If coming from other custom ROMs, boot time may take from 5 - 10 minutes (specially if you wiped dalvik cache)
If you don't wipe dalvik cache, you will get "Application not installed" every time you install an app.
You know you are stuck in boot logo if it stays there for more than 10 minutes! Be real! 10 minutes is enough to cook an instant noodle and eat it while its hot!
YOU WILL GET BOOT LOOP IF
You flashed Hyperion directly from a custom ROM with a custom kernel.
You flashed Hyperion directly from stock Android System Recovery. That means you didn't use TempCWM to flash Hyperion.
YOU WILL BE STUCK IN BOOT LOGO IF
You flashed Hyperion directly from stock Android System Recovery. That means you didn't use TempCWM to flash Hyperion.

KNOWN ISSUE(S)
IMEI Number will not show when you pres *#06# - this is a minor issue, there's nothing wrong with your phone. You can still make call, receive sms, broadcast messages and data connections
Flashlight toggle will force close SystemUI when pressed - will remain until I can modify manifest.xml without changing signature. I found an article about it here in XDA before but can't find it.
CAUTION
Using other mods from other ROM(S) will cause system instability. Hyperion is using the original Samsung and Google signatures for all apks in /system.
In most cases, system apps like SystemUI, framework-res, android-policy.jar and framework.jar from other ROM(S) will not work. If you put .jar files from other ROM(S), it may cause you a never ever ending bootloop. Be warned!REPORTED ISSUES

2. Please complete 1 full boot before installing Magisk.
3. Users can run un-rooted if they wish, I can confirm that Android Pay and Pokemon Go both work after installing the ROM un-rooted.
4. All tweaks options requiring root access will be removed from tweaks if running un-rooted, 90% of these options can be configured in Aroma so you are only missing out on Kernel settings, as init.d is backed up and restored when flashing, your previous configurations will be retained, so you can flash with root, set up then re-flash un-rooted

F A Q
Q 1: After I flash your ROM and reboot my device, my device keeps rebooting/bootloop?
A: Make sure you flash the correct firmware
Q 2: Should I use a task killer on the LeeDroid ROM?
Not recommended, is you really want to, use the one that came with the rom.
Q 3: Backup? What is that?
A good idea is to back up all your data and settings from the phone before flashing a new rom with a full wipe. Best app available is Titanium Back up
The best way to back up the contacts is to sync it via HTC Sync or via your gmail.
Q 4: Are Nandroid and Titanium backup the same thing? How do I manage backups?
No, Nandroid backs up the ROM and Titanium backs up the applications. Nandroid is what you do using the recovery and it makes the exact image of your ROM along with the data.
Q 5: On what occasion will I lose my data (apps, contacts etc)?
Only when you flash the rom wiping data using the Aroma installer option. When you just flash a rom or a .zip from recovery, it will not wipe anything unless otherwise mentioned.
Q 6: I was on stock (or another rom from another cook) and I flashed LeeDroid rom, now I am having some problems.
1. Try to rebooting the Phone and see if it makes a difference.
2. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik, reboot the phone and clear data of the apps causing problem.
3. Reboot into recovery, reflash the rom choosing full wipe in the installer.
Q 7: How do I flash Full wipe and what does it erase?Reboot into recovery, install a zip from sd card option, select the rom, follow the Aroma installer and select "Flash with wiping all (or something to that effect*)
Q 8: The screen is not very responsive and is lagging.
Let the phone settle down a bit after you unlock it. It generally needs a few seconds to kick up the CPU.*
Q 9: The market is not installing anything. Gives error.
Reboot into recovery and select “clear cache partition”. And under settings - applications - Manage applications - under the Market app < Clear Data>.
Q 10: My battery is draining heavily.
The battery life is much above average*
It's NOT recommended to empty the battery, it may course a poorer battery performance and life cyclus.*
Q11: Should I run the phone battery to zero percent, and what if it does??
A: Absolutely not! Both the current recoveries are giving problems while pulling the battery up from zero percent. If the phones dies off due to battery being zero, try to reboot it into recovery, flash the stock recovery. If it doesnt, then plug it into the wall charger and leave it for as long as it takes for you to boot it. Then flash the stock recovery, charge it fully and do your stuff.
Q12: MMS Problem?
A: Please check your APN settings.*
Q13: Some games that use the motion/G sensor are not working as they should.
A: Re-Calibrate your Gsensor –> Settings – Display – Gsensor Callibration
Q14: I dont like the animations. Dont want them.
A: Go to settings - display - animations.*
Q15: How do I change the bootanimation or the downanimation?
A: System\Customize\Resource or System/Data/Local. Replace the boot/down animation.zip file with the one you want. The new file must be named bootanimation.zip/downanimation.zip.
Mine
Way to go Lee!!!
I will up a stock rooted odex build in the next few days along with an option to flash back to stock, probably an RUU or ARUWizard + rom.zip combo.
Could you please make clear if I can somehow flash this on my O2 Device.
I'm on 1.32.206.15.
Or do I first have so get supercid or s-off?

Hi
Check the install path mentioned just above the download links, HTC Dev unlock your device, flash TWRP, backup & flash the rom zip.
Providing the install path matches, O2 UK will work without issue
No supercid nor s-off needed?
That rom reads so nice. I'm downloading. [emoji4]

No supercid or S-Off is required, simply the latest HTC update... remember to backup your current install

Did /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name not work for you? It's the default path.

It didn't want to play & wasn't visible so I went with the direct mount, mimicking the m8 install bud, from the feedback i have had it seems generic, flashed 2 devices numerous times with test builds and all is well ?
Uploading the guts of an RUU as we speak, ARUWizard from the M8 along with an official signed 1.32.401.8 as a fallback, once again tested numerous times
Good to see first ROMs poppin' up!

Very strange indeed, which version of twrp are you using? And did you check the MD5?
I installed this build twice to 2 different devices prior to upload.
About to go to sleep so check the md5 , if it matches, full wipe & try again, if it fails, restore your backup & I will take a look tomorrow evening..
Love how quick backup and restore is in this beast.
Edit: I am running a slightly modified version of twrp, link below but as always, use at your own risk. Team win and all affiliates will not be held responsible ?

Get some rest, you deserve it
Firstly: thanks for the efforts.
And do we really need the latest ota update to flash this? As soon as I got my hands on the phone I immediately flashed TWRP, so I'm in a bit of a predicament right now as I can't update via OTA right now...
@LeeDroid
Here you go. 95J866217F9292610

I would say YES you need latest OTA before flashing this rom. Lee mentioned it for a reason so I would follow the instructions. Why don't you just restore stock and grab the OTA just to be on the safe side ?
