There was a bug in M6 so don't update until M7 comes out or your mobile data will skyrocket.
I'm running M7 but I seem to have a bug in Exchange/push. At least I think so. Email crashes. This morning I saw Exchange service stopped and email just quit on me. Deleted data and only configured my IMAP accounts. If it works for the next two days I'll add the Exchange accounts and see if if it crashes again afterwards.

I've been running M6 until today and from May 20 'til now I've only used 1.35GB. I don't think our Photon Qs were eligible to download that update and chew up tons of data.
Has anyone updated to the newest M7 snapshot? I'm on Sprint and couldn't seem to get a stable connection (texts wouldn't go through).
M7 working for me, no problems on Sprint net work.
Updated from M6 using ART.

WIFI problems on CM11

I'm having serious WIFI problems with both M6 and M8 both on my Photon Q and Nook hd+. I'm running two routers at home: A wireless G (from my cable company) and my own Wireless N router.
Running Stock Android (4.1, 4.2, 4.3 or 4.4) or CM10.1, I have no problems connecting to either router (from multiple devices: Nexus 7, Galaxy S3, Photon Q, Nook HD+)
I have been yet to get M6 to connect to any WIFI. (This after multiple installs of CM11 factory clearing rom, factory reset, clear data, whatever I could) and was finally able to get M8 connected to the Wireless N.
Spent yesterday afternoon searching forums for _any_ idea on why WIFI wouldn't work and have not seen much discussion or indications anyone is addressing the problem.

Hi there!
The SW version of my PhotonQ is 77.8.10 and I'm using WCDMA(UMTS)network,
When I tried the hotspot function yesterday, I find that as long as the Data usage/Mobile data switch is on,the hotspot will constantly turn off and on,and everything's fine when the switch is off (connect with my ipod, retrive IP address and so on)
Dose any one has any idea about this problem?

Ah, you mean Android version is 4.0.4 mate.
Kernel version is probably 3.0.31 or smth, but that's neither here nor there.
Regardless, I don't think the built-in hotspot works (on stock).
It also sounds like you are using one of the SIM hacked devices. Why not install CM10/.1? Wifi hotspot should work fine there (it does for me on my less-hacked CDMA device....)

It's not mine, and if you are using a SIM modded device use Skrilax's!!
You know, I'm willing to bet that this is related to the issue in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1885600. Just on a whim, I tried turning off mobile data before turning on my wifi, and sure enough, my wifi connectivity problem went away.
That being said, and the fact that I have two q's, one which works perfectly, and one which exhibits this odd behavior, I think I'm heading towards a hardware problem, and a warranty exchange. But, if your new rom seems to fix the problem, then please share that here. It would indicate that there may be a software solution to the problem.

New thread for CyanogenMod builds (currently nightlies) for hlte devices. Previously, Note 3 (qualcomm devices) builds were separate, but now they are unified. So, hltespr, hltetmo, hltevzw, htlexx are now all in one build: hlte.
Download page can be found here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=hlte.
FAQs (please read before asking any questions):
AlecRobertson said:
Does this build work on the 4.4 bootloader? Yes! It works on the 4.4.2 NA6/NA7/NB3 bootloaders.
Is this build stable? No. There will be issues (see known issues below)
Where can I get the latest recovery that is compatible with this ROM? http://d-h.st/users/xiaolu/?fld_id=31963. You can also use the latest version of TWRP.
Can I update OTA from an hltexx, etc. build to an hlte build? No.
Is there any advantage to upgrading to the 4.4 bootloader? No, not really, unless you call not being able to downgrade an advantage .
Can I downgrade from a 4.4 bootloader to a 4.3 bootloader. No (you can thank Samsung for that)! The only exception to this is if you have a Canadian variant of the Note 3. Then, you can downgrade
Can I install this on an Eyxnos device? No!
Which GApps should I use? I would recommend the Paranoid Android GApps. You can them from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942. If you want the Nexus experience, get the GOOGLE STOCK PACKAGE.

Setting provider settings causes com.android.phone to crash, unless using English (United States) as the system language.
Sensors (e.g. humidity and temperature) stop working after the phone goes into a deep sleep (for some minutes)
Time settings are lost after every reboot.
MNVO network names are not shown correctly, e.g. Virgin is shown as Orange or T-Mobile UK,
Sometimes, after using the phone for a continued length of time, the screen becomes multi-coloured and the only fix is to reboot.

I know, today's changelog is not very useful. But "Tomorrow is another day"
Seems like date and time doesn't work on the 18/02/14 build except when synced with carrier, but it will lose the time data again after reboot.
Success on Rogers SM-N900W8 ...
Well, I took the plunge … once again … with surprising success.
Installation was quite simple on my Rogers (Canadian) SM-N900W8, so I would imagine that all Canadian variants will provide similar results.
Prior to installing the 20140218 unified (hlte) version of CM, I had stock Touchwiz installed, with TWRP 2.6.3.7 as my recovery.
I first performed a Nandroid (always suggested), and then simply flashed both CM and GAPPS through TWRP. Yes, you read the previous sentence correctly. I flashed right from my existing TWRP recovery.
Prior to flashing, I wiped System, Data, Dalvik and Cache, which I did twice (moderate OCD here); however, I did NOT touch Internal Storage.
So far, so good. The device booted very quickly, much more quickly than usual. I then entered all the initial set-up information, and arrived, quite smoothly, at the initial home screen. I then went into Settings and set-up virtually everything.
As I said above, so far, so good. Wifi works very well. LTE works, although, I had to manually go into the APN settings and select the pre-configured Rogers LTE APN. It took a few minutes, but LTE finally popped-up on the Notification Bar.
So, that's it. I'm now installing all my apps. I'll let you know how everything goes once they are all installed (about 100).
Good luck everyone.

Hey op just some advice. The main user page should be in general section for everyday talk of the builds.
The dev section should be problem solving and log cats.
Are you the maintainer as per cm or just another user making another thread here??
dont forget the thanks button if I helped out!!
Can anybody tell me if this build will appear as an update to those of us already running CM11 for hltexx? Currently no Stable or Nightly update is showing since the 20140130-NIGHTLY-hltexx build.

I don't think so, as you've got an hltexx build, whereas this is an hlte build. I'll add this to the FAQ.

Thanks. The blog post earlier (http://www.cyanogenmod.org/blog/unified-builds) mentioned they would add server-side checks to present the unified build via CM Updater, but I wasn't sure if that really meant upgrading from hltexx to hlte unified builds.

I'd always do a clean install by downloading it on your PC and clean flashing it anyway. I know it's a pain, but you'll get far less issues like this.

The KK bootloader doesn't offer any benefit/new feature over the JB one, SS just changed it to give us a hard time with custom ROMs and prevent us from downgrading. All the bootloader does is to allow the device to... boot (!)
I like this new version, I haven't gotten the black screen of death yet, and things seem to run smoother (probably placebo), and the battery seems better

I know this is an old thread but I need some info. I just got the M8 and it updated to 4.4.3 which I had found out before hand that FoxFi worked on that update. As soon as it finished updating to 4.4.3 it asked and I downloaded 4.4.4. I'm reluctant to install it until I find out it works. I've been without FoxFi too long since inadvertently upgrading a previous Motorola handset to 4.4.4. Just got it back with the M8 and don't want to lose it again.

Not rooted. I haven't rooted in years. Hated having to keep up with all the latest ROMs. FoxFi kind of eliminated my major need to root.

Hi
I have a very annoying issue regarding WiFi. After flashing any custom kernel (Ak, furnace...), my wifi speed turns very very slow, it drops from 40 mbs to 2 mbs.
And the only way to fix it is with this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliapps.wifiandmorefixer&hl=es
As i said this happens after a kernel change. I changed thing on my router, like channel, security protocols, qos but no way, it´s not a router problem.
Also i restored the phone to stock ( including a bootloader relock, etc...)
Anyone else have this issue? How can i fix it permanently?
Thank you

First of all thanks for this great rom. Since the begining of the year, with the new radio my wi-fi reception is very weak, if I'm farer than 4 o 5 metres from the router my wi-fi disconect. I've tried everything, different roms, kernels, clean installs from 44s strock without luck. It works fine with 4.4. My security protocol is WPA2-Personal.
Now I've done a clean install from stock 44s to today release following the instruction, everything is great except wi-fi.

I have the same problem as you. the only solution i found is to use 5GHz band.
On blisspop builds (cm12 based roms also) older than 01/01/2015 i was able to fix that problem by using this tool: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliapps.wifiandmorefixer&hl=es
but on the newer builds it does not work. i think it may be some firmware related thing or something cm12 changed.
I have a thread open for it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/wifi-extremely-slow-kernel-flash-t2978780
And please, could some experienced dev tell us whats going on?

The issue seems to be solved for now.
What i did was resetting the phone to color OS stock Rom and then flashed back my actual lollipop ROM.

WOW ! INCREDIBLE !! I even went through the Technical Support, they replaced my device and still had the issue. I used this application and it works !! Went from 1-2mbps speedest to my full connection : 28 MBPS ! Using CM12.0S latest official CM ROM as today
I recently upgraded to the Nexus 5 two weeks ago, before this I was using a nexus 4.
When I first set up the custom ROM on the N5 (I don't think I bothered setting up the stock Lollipop, this may be a cause), the only options shown at the Restore page was from my Nexus 4 on the google servers.
The problem is, even after 2 weeks, setting up a new ROM only shows the Nexus 4, it looks like the Nexus 5 isn't backing up to the google servers (WiFi passwords and user dictionary etc), what's wrong?
My theory is that the backup only worked on the stock Lollipop ROM because if I remember clearly, when i stopped using stock on the N4, the backups never updated.
