i am maintaining openpdroid for cm11 / android 4.4.4. its here:
https://github.com/Lanchon/OpenPDroid-patches
you have to build your own cm with it, then use pdroid manager:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.digitalfeed.pdroidalternative
or if you use a nexus 5 you can use my builds:

You need at least an unlocked bootloader to flash the kernel with fastboot.
You can find a howto in the description of the youtube video.
But you need to backup your data, because unlocking the bootloader will delete your data

root it and get twrp make a backup of the stock flash a custom rom( I recommend slim 6 )
download gapps
btw this will most likely trip knox
Trimming the storage could help, but check your emmc first if it has the brickbug. If the bug is present, don't try to trim it as it will break your tab. Trim requires root on your rom because android supports trim natively on 4.3+ and our rom is on 4.1.2
can i fix it without root?
because i want keep the original rom.

TWRP shouldn't affect your device's performance. Maybe Placebo...
And if you're up for the task, by all means install a custom rom. It contains the latest optimizations and security patches for android so it should be faster than the stock rom. Although there are some bugs on 6.0, they're minor http://andi34.github.io/known_bugs_tab2_6.0.html
Good luck!

Putting aside that it's really moronic for you to bump across tens of forums sections just to gain post count, I hope you best with this.
Just, it wouldn't hurt if you could once and for all explain what "ALL-ON-NAND" even mean, since in none of your past account lives you ever specified it.

Possible, but too hard. We need new kernel device tree sources with new android versions. Than we must build it from sources Than boot it. After this we must fix bugs. So we need more developers in this Pico forum
But Google will release a new Android edition (Android Oreo Go edition) for low-end devices like Pico
Maybe we have this in the future.
For more info you can go here: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-go-news/

[ROM] [FLO] Stock Pure Official Unrooted/Unmodified 6.0 MRA58V Flashable

Hello everyone this is a purely stock flashable official marshmallow ROM for the nexus 7 2013 Flo version! It is based on the official stock 6.0 RAZOR MRA58V build, ROM and image for our nexus 7 2013 edition with nothing modified or removed in the ROM. I was trying to look for something like this but could not find it so i decided to make it myself. This ROM is always compatible with multirom also! The ROM base is not mine it belongs to Google and ASUS those are the people who made the ROM and the device. Hopefully this ROM can benefit you in some way so i hope you enjoy
Link to nexus firmware here:
https://developers.google.com/android/images
If someone could link me to the rom and kernel sources that would be great thanks
ROM Details:
Completely Stock
Unrooted
Unmodified
Pure Official Stock 6.0 RAZOR MRA58V
Flashable through twrp or other recovery such as cwm or philz i hope
Of course you can flash latest supersu and xposed
