I installed the leaked JB Rom (LJ1) and I'm wondering about a more stock Jelly Bean experience, without Touch Wiz or the Verizon bloat. Is it safe to root/unlock and then install the CM10 stable version?
I'm new to this and still nervous about it, but the LJ1 install was absolutely seamless.

It's not to diss the cm10 Rom but when I had it I experienced a few bugs. Battery Life was ok and signal strength was terrible. if you are using a GS3 go with a touchwiz Rom.

I was wondering what rom do people think is the most stable JB for our S3 and also what roms have NATIVE WIFI Tethering enabled? I'm trying to flash a rom with stock touchwiz
Beans 5 or synergy work good for me

Cleanrom 5.0 is super stable, same goes for Synergy Rom. In my experience the TW roms seam to be more stable. I always use nova launcher so I can move the app drawer button back to where it is supposed to be, along with other customization's.
I'm thinking about using Beans 5, does anyone know if the AOSP text supports emoji in that rom?
I find CleanROM 5.0 to be very stable. You can have TW or use another launcher. I use Nova.

it is there but i don't know what it is.
Bean's roms are all really stable and run with little to no issues. His latest build is by far his best.

Are we able to flash the stock Samsung Camera on an AOSP ROM?

I believe that's a no, since the TW camera is basically tied into the framework, etc.

A lot of the AOSP roms are adding the option of flashing the TW camera now. Beans build does and so does Synergy I think. Make a request in the thread maybe

Beans and Synergy are both TW based.

You can install one of many camera apps from the playstore, a personal favorite of mine is procapture https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neaststudios.procapture&hl=en
Do you have to be on the same update version that you are flashing? In other words if I'm on VRBLK3 can I flash a custom rom based on VRBMB1 or vise versa?
You can flash anything. I mean I'm running 4.2.2 AOSP which is nothing like what came on the phone.

Yes you Can flash any Verizon Galaxy S3 custom ROMs based on jellybean.
K3 vs MB1 is the modem.
theyre unrelated to the ROM.
I have been using a Skyrocket on T-mobile using the Tmobile Embryo rom and blaze radio and it works fine. But now Im getting tired of the messed up Auto-Rotation on the phone so Im thinking of just using a standard stock skyrocket rom with the no ril Tmobile radio I have been using.
Can anyone recommend a skyrocket rom that is closest to Stock Touchwiz OS that is rooted that I can install using TWRP ?

Thanks. Then Ill just install Embryo 7.0 for skyrocket and then the tmobile radio.
Or, just flash the cymbaline kernel from the embryo thread.
