[Q] AT&T KitKat bloatware list to remove? - AT&T LG G2

Does anyone have a list of the bloatware that we can remove on KitKat? Same as the old list?
AT&T D800 stock OTA to KitKat, then rooted with ioroot25.

I've been wondering the same thing......

I've seen the old list and was also wondering if there is an updated one. I have used Titanium to freeze a few that looked like obvious bloatware and have not had any issues. I haven't been adventurous enough as of yet to delete them.
I deleted facebook, twitter, and life square.
I have froze AT&T code scanner, locker, messages, smart WiFi, beats music, browser bar, city ID, device help, W games, LG setup wizard, and my AT&T. I've had these frozen for a couple weeks with no issues and I'd imagine they can be safely deleted.

Can anyone link to the old list?
Also these screenshots are the bloat I removed and have not experienced any issues

[HOW-TO] ROOT (fre3v0) + Titanium Backup - for Sensation

Hi everybody,
I just want to say:
This How To: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1150926
Works also for HTC Sensation!! Titanium Backup is running on my HTC Sensation.
I'm just a reader of this forum, so I can't post it in the developer Forum.
Just do it how it says in the How To for the EVO 3D and you get Titanium Backup running with superuser.
Greetings
MoDDe
Won't this get reset on a reboot? "This" being the /system folder?
Sure it will.
Since this is all temporary, you will only have access until the next time the device decides to clean house! Then, you will need to reboot, reroot, and rerun the script. This is only if you want to kind of fool around for a bit.

Hangouts is a system app and you will need to be rooted and use something like Titanium Backup to uninstall it. I do not know if it is safe to remove this app or if will cause problems or not.

Can't uninstall any app

Hi, I can't uninstall apps on my Moto G, and by uninstall apps I mean any app, not only mods, also the apps I downloaded from Google Play, when I try to uninstall an app the phone reboots but it doesn't uninstall it.
I have this custom ROM installed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2624111
I don't know what I have to do. Please, help me
That is probably a bug from the rom, but you can unnistal the app using root explorer, just delete the app's apk.

It also happened to me with PA RC1 and that was the only way. Install root explorer, go to data->app, delete the apk from the app you want to uninstall and after this reboot phone and the app is no longer there.

Yes, because you are only blocking it and not altering the file system or bootloader. Even if you could delete files Knox should be good. I didn't even bother to look until you posted.
Knox app in phone is used to secure phone with pass even on factory reset. It's the only way to save those settings. Disabling is not an issue unless you want to use that feature.
You must be rooted. I can't disable Knox. It's grayed out.

You can use this tool to disable any app on the phone with or without root. If you use it be careful not to disable anything you do not know the function of. If in doubt Google the app to get a description. Yes it is Knox friendly.

EDIT: i take that back...i just read further...and it looks like it might work. i will give it a try later tonight.
Thanks!!

Sorry I meant disabling. So how does this tool disable an app without root? Don't you need to have access to the system files to do that?

I figure that is what you meant, but others reading might not Capt.
No doesnt need root.. you can go into your app folder and disable a bunch of apps by defualt. But not all.. They (Sammy) block certain. The app issues the disable adb command. That that works..

What do the ant plug-ins do? I've only had them on Samsung phones

When not rooted, the app is basically a GUI for using "pm hide" command, which is the new version of "pm block". Hide does not require special permissions as it's not modifying the file system.

How Do I Uninstall a Wallpaper APK from my Pixel?

I downloaded an early version of Pranav Pandey's Pixel 2 wallpaper launcher for my phone, which is a Google Pixel, when it was in its' early versions. Now that the launcher had been updated, I wanted to get the new version so that the wallpapers would work instead of crashing. The first step says to uninstall any previous apk, but I can't find a way to do that. Is there a way to remove the old version in order in order to make way for the new version, and if not, is there another way to do it?
Here is a link to the post with the instructions and application I'm talking about:

If it's a user installed app it should be listed under settings apps

I faced a similar problem but the best I can do is disable the wallpaper app( since I have a pixel ) and that does not help. I still see the live wallpapers section in the app but when I open any live wallpaper it crashes.

I found the app when you search in the settings for "wallpaper". It shows up as "Pixel wallpaper 2017" uninstall that and install the new APK and the live wallpapers will work. At least they did for me.
Problem is solved for me thanks.
