Anyone know if a way to get the TV app to list premium channel programming (HBO, Stars, Cinemax, etc)? All the other Chan bells are listed correctly, but the premium channels don't show up at all. It would also be nice to be able to get it to list HD channels rather than SD by default.

There is an option within the app to add manually the premium channels. Wish there was hd by default too.. or at least that it would show you option to choose between sd n hd

I've looked all through the app and cannot figure out how to manually add channels. I'll Google it but if anyone wants to spell it out here I would appreciate it.
Edit: I figured it out. Going to Settings > Rooms let's you add the premium channels which are there but hidden by default. There's also a check box to have it list the HD channel by default.

Has anyone noticed old news feeds displaying over and over? The news feeds don't come close to matching my pc, ill see a post from several days ago at the top, followed by a resent post than another old one. Its getting annoying.

I installed friend caster which seems fine but I hope there's a fix for it soon. Mad annoying.

I've since switched to friendcaster.
how do you change the default? maybe I should have been more clear. When you do that it does stay as the default. So you have to change it everytime. maybe I'll try friendcaster

I noticed I had to change it everyone. The only think I've noticed about friend caster in the negitive sence is that I don't believe it had a chat option.

Man this is one of the hardest things to figure out for me. I just want it to do simple things, Like screen off no data. Certain tomes turn on Bluetooth, certain times vibrate. Anyone good at this? I have wasted some money on this so far. Need to redeem myself!

Adding here, updated version should be attached. You should be able to unzip, then import the profile, tasks and scene.
I tried importing from both zips that you provided and the profiles won't load, some error loading. The scene and tasks FC's. I know this is a pain in the seat cushion, but can step by step it for me?

Try this attachment, you will have to download and unzip it on your phone somewhere, then in Tasker, delete any of the stuff you imported from my previously posted tasks, then under Profiles, there is a faint triangle at the upper middle of the screen, press and hold near there, then drag down, it should highlight, then you will get a new row at the top of the window with a 'house' icon. Long press on that then select 'Import'. This is actually a rudimentary flie system browser, but it's not obviously such. The triangle in the lower right means to go up a directory, use that to navigate and find the 'DataManagement.prj.xml' you unzipped, and import it. That should be all you need to do.

Have you tried Atooma beta? Similar to Tasker but very easy to setup. Find it in the Play Store.
I use it to turn off wifi/turn on data/launch navigation and Pandora when I plug in head phones. Also set it to read SMS to me when I am driving and send auto reply telling the sender I am driving.

Same problem. Living in a third world country makes Google Play suggest the worst apps you can imagine, just seeing the icons in my phone is a torture.

Only way to do it now is to use a VPN. This will fool the play store into thinking you are in another country.

Tried disabled location services.
Cleared data and cache in playstore.
Even after that it still find outs my location.
One more thing we can try is use wifi only & put the network radios in off state.

Hey everyone I just wanted to share an app I shared with the htc one crowd called showbox. It has been only available to jail broken iPhones for a long time but they have finally brought it to android. The app itself is like Netflix without a subscription and it gets updated daily with the newest movies and TV shows. Download the apk from show-box.me and check it out definitely the best app out

There was no link, just had to go to the website listed near the end of the OP. It is a nice app, some good movies are listed on there, if you download it can take time (even on WiFi) but they have been very good quality.

Herein lies the problem folks, these apps are violating copyright laws in most instances...therefore, this thread is closed as XDA does not condone piracy.
If I set a default share app in another app, like twitter, Chrome will also use that as a default share app, not giving me a choice in the matter. Why this change?
Same issue here, but I haven't even chosen a default share app. I chose to share to gmail in my twitter app and now most apps are sharing automatically to gmail.

Yes, I have to keep clearing app defaults in settings, because chrome is remembering share settings from other apps for some reason and using it for itself, with no choice.

Same here. Each time I try to share a page with chrome it opens "import to Google drive". The only way I found to get the share choices back is to deactivate Google drive

Alright I fixed it. You need to go to Apps I. Settings and go to the 3 dot menu on top right and reset apps preferences like so. Yay!

Is there a way to set an app as the default option for sharing? I only want to share to Pocket in Chrome and Twitter etc. Is that possible?
