I have the Motorola Fire XT rooted and deleted the build.prop file in the system. I have a back - up of the file on my computer but not my phone. I need to figure out a way how to put it on my phone. My phone is in a boot loop. Any help? Thanks.
You could push it to your device via adb. This can be done manually or you could use a tool such as this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599332.
You need adb. Install adb and put the build.prop file in the same folder as adb and use the command "adb push build.prop /system"

What can one do if this action is needed (running ADB) but the user haven't turned on USB-Debuggning, nor can enter the recovery mode.
Considered a bricked device?

No. Do you have this issue? If so, are you able to boot into fastboot/bootloader?

Hello,
Yes I do.
I can't get into recovery mode because the device gets stuck at the logo.
I know it's the correct buttons being pressed as I do have another same tablet which enters recovery without problems.
If you mean fastboot via USB-Debugging? Well I can't do any ADB because I don't have USB-debugging enabled.
Any idea how to rescue this tab?
Thanks

If resetting the device doesn't work, you don't have access to recovery mode/bootloader/fastboot or even download mode (depending on your device), then there is pretty much nothing you can really do to fix it yourself. The only other possibility would be to try to run the stock ruu (if it has one).

Thanks for the suggestions, but that would suck
Must be something I can do.
It's a Chinese brand tablet, the quality is good but this is the only issue.
However, if I plug in the tablet to the computer, something called "WinDroid Linker" shows up on the PC and I remote to the tablet while I'm on the screen that says I need to do a factory reset. From there I can reach keyboard settings, but that's all I've figured out so far.
Due to the fact that I'm able to remote the tablet, shouldn't I be able to do something from there?
I'm not, however, able to reach the storage as far as I know.
Thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have already tried adb but it says my phone is offline. I can get into recovery but idk if that will do much. Idk how to get my phone into fastboot. Thanks.

I can get into recovery mode but ADB says my phone is offline so I cant do anything with that. Idk what bootloader is or fast boot but maybe that would be a solution. Thanks.
If you can get into recovery mode, find the mount options. Mount /system. Then adb push the file to your phone.

Ya but if im in recovery my phone wont show up in the listed devices. And now my device wont show up as its booting up. If there is a way for adb to recognize the phone in recovery that would be great.
If you have adb properly setup it should see it in recovery. What recovery are youbusing? I do this stuff in clockwork all the time when I'm porting roms.

Ok so within 20 minutes of doing a nandroid backup and restore my phone freezes at the main loading screen after i press reboot phone. Is there anything i can do to fix this. Please someone help.
Do battery pull, then three button combo to get to recovery, clear both cashes , factory reset , wipe the system, remount the system, reinstall your from fresh from the SD card. Sorry but you Android back up is some how corrupted, you can try to do an advanced restore of just your data from it, only if you are coming from the same ROM.Good luck.

Since you're in download mode, flash a one click file with a modified kernel with cwm. I think eollie has a thread for it somewhere. That'll get you back to stock GB plus CWM.

Well i was able to do the one click but now when I go to download an app it says error package file is invalid or something like that
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
If you are having problems using heimdall you could always try Gremlin Remover just download it make sure you have the right drivers installed, install GR then run, the plug your USB in , wait for the top left bar to turn yellow the press start. Then eat lunch or read a book, watch a good show when it says completed. Then you'll have a stock GB with CWM ready to go.

Now is when you're going to have to do some reading. You will need to odin the stock firmware. Go to the development forum and look for the stickies by vincom. They're you'll find one that will tell you how to return to stock. That's a good thing, because you should never flash if you don't know Odin.

Were you able to get into download mode and connect to Odin and did Odin recognize your phone? You do know how to use Odin?
Were you able to access recovery as suggested by using the power button and volume button combination and maybe restore your back up? You did do a backup before starting?
I don't remember where it is but their are well written steps on how to do both. As someone else suggested read and research. As someone suggested to me "Don't trying to flash custom ROMs until you know how to use Odin to be able to get out of trouble."
Just a suggestion you probably know more about this than I do please don't take it the wrong way

Still, after all this time with the device and people don't know you don't have to hold the keys that long. Device off--->hold power and both volumes until you see the Samsung screen... You can then let go of everything.

For what its worth when I have a problem I can't find the answer to I Odin back to stock when phone settles I do a factory reset to remove everything on phone. If it reboots okay I start loading everything back into it.
If I run into problems I go into download and Odin back to stock and start over. Sometimes it takes me more than one attempt.
I'm sure their is a better way but I'm no expert. For the most part going back to stock has been the answer then go from their. Hope your phone is not hosed. Good luck.

You don't have to go into recovery to do a factory reset you can go into settings.
A hardware problem is something that will have to be answered by someone way smarter than I.
I use CWM recovery and when I first started flashing I installed it using Odin.
Sorry I have run out of ideas Good luck.

Yes but nothing. I erase an app and don't know haw to fix it. I must do a recovery with Ron manager but a don't have access
So full reflash (reparation and every thing) is recommended.
If you don't already have full backup, making backup of corrupted rom is not a good choice.

Your phone being rooted has no effect on accessing it. In order for ADB to be able to communicate with the phone USB debugging must be enabled on the device as well as the correct drivers installed on your PC if running Windows.
Unfortunately for your situation I cannot offer a solution.

Hi,first of all you did not tell which app you deleted. When did you deleted, before flashing or after through any root explorer. You should always provide full information.Which rom you flashed?
Before i tell you what i faced i want to tell you that home button problems do occur sometimes then you have to trim the rom,i mean remove some unwanted apps then it works. This is for future if in case after reflashing again home button does not work or some thing like tht.
Now to enter recovery which even i faced is that it does happen, in LG after pressing home+volume down+power button you get into recovery but when you press this LG logo will come then just after one second of that release just the power button and keep holding the other two buttons and you will enter recovery.
