request honami framework - Sony Xperia C

if any developer can help us i'm really disappointed because always nothing new here in xperia c section, xperia 2011 the dead phones still have development and there's a new every day !!!!! if any developer can port honami framework it would be great.thanks

That's true I'm waiting for new android version until September and then if nothing happens I'm will buy another phone and leave Sony behind.Sony's company doesn't even think about their costumers.

In general, all we have is the wait

You're right but it's the only light we have in the darkness of Xperia c development

it's just like my older samsung galaxy core, the development is stuck...
i can't imagine if it's happen too to my Xperia C

Still waiting for my country's rom, but probably Samsung will roll out the 4.1.2 for all countries at once. And then there was a post that 4.2.2. will be available for our device anytime soon. I don't believe it though, probably we will wait half an year or maybe it will be as a Christmas present

I noticed the source for Kitkat was released on the SourceForge page, but interestingly they disabled the page. You can still download the files linked in the RSS feed though:

Ports anger a lot of devs cause it take a lot to build a ROM from source and a port is ripping off their work. And its the easy way and its to quick to put the effort in and make sure its quality.

I think we will probably get KITKAT!!! There are more chances of kitkat than 4.3 as AOSP sources of KIKAT have been alredy released by sony....
Come on brothers !!!! If Xperia M has got Android 4.3 it means our device will get 4.3 or higher(most likely) .
And remember Sony has us in AOSP project so KitKat sources are already ready , just wait till all Sony devices start getting 4.4 ,in that very timeline we will get ours, bcoz it doesn't make sense updating a mid-range device before flagships. (ZL, ZR,Zetc).
But also I don't think that you know , XM was updated before us so , even we may get ours before flagships

Firstly, the good news is there is an update coming for Xperia L which seems to be a bug fixing update. 15.3.a.1.1.6
It hopefully will be last try from the Sony to clear bugs from the current stock ROM.
Xperia M was announced in May2013 compared to March 2013 for Xperia L.
Usually a mid-range device receives updates for a year from Sony so it seems unlikely we might be pushed to 4.4.
If Xperia L KitKat was coming, they wouldn't release buggy premature source for Kitkat. The source code is always released after the ROM has been completed and is sent out to devices !
Doing that, they not only kept many people quite to show how friendly Sony is to developers but in the mean time, it bought them time so they can come up with an excuse later that 'a year of spupport' has been given!
I am sorry to disappoint you and I hope I am wrong, but a KitKat update seems very unlikely especially with their new devices being released so naturally they would be looking to discontinue support for many others!

KitKat is much better , and we r no kids with that mentality, and bro no one downgrades quality in an incremental update get ur brain right and if u know KitKat has new drivers so most problems get solved!!!

Talking about all this is waste of time!!! And be content as there is no big change from 4.2.2 so Sony doesn't probably want to waste development time for Android 4.3 , remember 4.2.2 UI was first seen on Xperia L , before SP , M ,V,T etc.
So we can even think a higher version is already in development
Sent from my C2104 using Tapatalk
Xperia L will get Android 4.4 Kitkat update directly..
In May 2014, Xperia Z series will get 4.4 update, after that Xperia SP and after that Xperia L..
Lol I don't think so. I doubt it'll be 4.3, just maybe 4.4 but I really can't say. Like Hnk1 said, it's '1 year period' is over. It would be surprising if there's another major update, but i wouldn't expect it. All I can ask for is that the '1.16' update clears out all the bugs for us.

Please add Cyanogenmod for Xperia Z5 E6683

It's been 6 months since Z5 released. and yet there is a CM but on Development status.. i really felt this phone is disappointing because of not so good battery life, heat problems, etc.. compared to Nexus 6P, these phones are actually almost the same.. just different software. if only There's a CM for Z5, it'll be like Nexus 6P, which is better.. please add CM for Z5 as soon as possible :crying: it's pointless if marshmallow doesn't have Stamina Mode :crying:
If u think porting cm13 to a phone is easy, think again oh and for the record the 6p and the z5 are TOTALLY different phones hardware wise
Please don't be so rude, demanding CM for a expansive phone which isn't rootable on locked bootloader (which is a big issue for a lot of people, because of drm) and is released just half a year ago.
You'd better build it yourself for Z5 or get another phone..
BTW, for me, battery life is excellent. It's just how u configure the phone..
Also, this is the wrong forum to post questions. Questions belongs in Q&A so I requested a thread movement for u.

Well, there's AOSP which is stable and already has superior battery runtime than Sony's stock with heavy modifications - lol
So you could use that instead,
the camera's quality isn't the "best" and FM radio doesn't work,
but access to microSD, data connection, mic, sound, etc. all work
Everyone is welcome to join the effort to get a perfectly working CyanogenMod (and other ROMs) on the Z5 series to work

The phones been out for like... 2 weeks and they pushed an update the day of launch. Are you really expecting a faster update cycle than once every month from any phone?
"Still no proper Android P Beta" - For starters, Android P is a buggy mess on Pixel's right now. Hard for them to make a stable beta when Google isn't even there yet.
"No June Update" - It's 7 days into June, I'm not sure if you're aware of this but there's still like another 3 weeks left in the month?
"Treble A/B partition makes it hard on devs" - This is literally a treble problem though, not a OP problem.
Android P beta was just rushed out so that they could use it for announcements..
