I noticed the source for Kitkat was released on the SourceForge page, but interestingly they disabled the page. You can still download the files linked in the RSS feed though:

"Porting"? I don't think that's what we want or need I think we need a device tree not a "port" dhacker had a really nice build already so I am sorry but ports shouldnt be alright or normal.

Ports anger a lot of devs cause it take a lot to build a ROM from source and a port is ripping off their work. And its the easy way and its to quick to put the effort in and make sure its quality.

Would it be possible to compile a rom for the Dual Sim versions of the Moto G with these sources? I suppose so, but I'm not certain.
I don't see anything mentioned about the supported hardware in the readme document..

Who asked for manual?
It's not as easy as you all may think. Let's wait until October for HTC to drop 4.2 for our device. I hate to say wait as I'm a go get her done guy but Simon and I have been working really hard trying to get CM compiling for our device but can't do much until htc releases 4.1 source code for the k2cl I'll start working again but I'm mainly waiting for HTC to release 4.2 source as it will make all our lives much much easier. Also, porting sense>aosp(miui) is difficult where as aosp/cm>sense is much easier

We appreciate all work you will do for this phone!
Waiting for kernel source is and was always a pain. It will come, but they take their time...
Hi everyone.
I am willing to donate $20 for someone can help me using MIUI rom on htc one sv
Ensure!
What model phone has support MIUI and has the following parameters:
screen resolution - 800x480
ro.build.id=JDQ39
ONE S and ONE X and some others are supported, do they have such other parameters? I dunno. So I'm fine with the 4.2.2 update and the Sense5 - Toolbox, works well.
But its a pitty that the development-sections for K2_U(L) are as empty.. It's a really nice and cheap phone, I don't get it.

You have read my previous post???
ONE S - (960 x 540)
ONE X - (1280 x 720)
ADD.
Anyone, who wants to try their hands in the implementation of MIUI for our model, should read here.
ADD2.
However, in the manual used CM, but the current version for HTC phones using HTC framework.
version 4.2.2

It's been 6 months since Z5 released. and yet there is a CM but on Development status.. i really felt this phone is disappointing because of not so good battery life, heat problems, etc.. compared to Nexus 6P, these phones are actually almost the same.. just different software. if only There's a CM for Z5, it'll be like Nexus 6P, which is better.. please add CM for Z5 as soon as possible :crying: it's pointless if marshmallow doesn't have Stamina Mode :crying:
If u think porting cm13 to a phone is easy, think again oh and for the record the 6p and the z5 are TOTALLY different phones hardware wise
Please don't be so rude, demanding CM for a expansive phone which isn't rootable on locked bootloader (which is a big issue for a lot of people, because of drm) and is released just half a year ago.
You'd better build it yourself for Z5 or get another phone..
BTW, for me, battery life is excellent. It's just how u configure the phone..
Also, this is the wrong forum to post questions. Questions belongs in Q&A so I requested a thread movement for u.

Well, there's AOSP which is stable and already has superior battery runtime than Sony's stock with heavy modifications - lol
So you could use that instead,
the camera's quality isn't the "best" and FM radio doesn't work,
but access to microSD, data connection, mic, sound, etc. all work
Everyone is welcome to join the effort to get a perfectly working CyanogenMod (and other ROMs) on the Z5 series to work
The more the better

Been waiting for this
https://github.com/SonyAosp/ source build the option to build ota-updates for the current AOSP,
so you can flash it from TWRP without losing app data, etc. (it's afaik patching the system up to newest state)

I've searched through XDA, trying to find OMS Nougat ROMs. I found ROMs for the LG G3, LG G2, Galaxy S4, Moto G 2015, and Moto X 2014, but all Nougat ROMs I found for the OnePlus One use RRO/some partially broken RRO-CMTE hybrid. How come a phone with the exact same SoC (LG G3) has an OMS Nougat ROM, and even phones as old as the S4 have them, yet all we have are RRO Nougat ROMs?
Did anyone find one, by any chance?

Or, that they've forgotten to take out the CMTE services.
The camera doesn't seem to function, either.
I saw a thread for Lineage OS even for the Nexus 4. When does it come to our Pixel Device? Isn't the support for this device not as great for the Nexus Phones?
Starting out slower here, there are challenges with the new dual boot and some other additional things. Plus I am sure they already pretty much had all the other phones done.
Okay, then let's wait and see. [emoji4]
I am anxiously awaiting LinageOS as well. I am a long time CM user and hopefully some there is enough similarity to keep me entertained. Well I have not used CM in about 2 years but thats because I've been using Blackberry. Man BB10 is pretty awesome but the lack of app support kills it. I loved the hub and that everything was a swipe rather than a push to click style.
I might try a DU rom or the Pure Nexus rom just because I think its going to be awhile for LinageOS to get a rom going on the pixel.
Nice to see there is a build up for XL users hopefully sailfish will get some love too?

Even if I see almost everywhere that marlin and sailfish are almost the same with only 1 difference (screen size), I can't find any working build. There were a few (like the one from invisiblek), but none of them was working. I guess the XL is much more popular (just like the opposite of my earlier thoughts). ? Until we get some dev support, we still have the Hexa ROM, which based on Lineage and works pretty well (even if the dev also does not own the device). ?
Sailfish builds resumed yesterday. Look in the XL thread.

It's in the XL forum and it's called lineage os
i am looking into getting sailfish (although i probably wont), but i can try and build lineage for it, for you to see if anyone wants to see if it works.
edit- seeing as a few of you have thanked this, i imagine you would want it, previously i had troubles, but im trying again.
i think i saw elsewhere, that there are already official builds, but ill carry on, i find this stuff fun!
edit- i can make the kernel, i can also build recovery (although no file is made ), but there is always an error to do with dependencies, probably because half the stuff is in marlin rather than sailfish, but im not good enough to know how to fix it, and i dont really have the time to enquire, but otherwise, you can probably find builds elsewhere.
This is just a cm poll , a minimum of 30 positive vote is required to start this project
please vote in the poll area.
edit: forget about the poll xD development has already started, you can find the device tree on my github account.

Good work! I know you must have been super excited!
Dude this is awesome! I would also love to know how you are doing this so if I could ever hop in and help I'd be able to.
Aha! Sweet!
In case there's anything of interest in my messy repos to assist, here they be:
device / kernel / vendor
I'm still sick. lol. Always sick. And my computer is sold today to pay bills, so this project is dead for me for a while.
Glad to see y'all have continued though! This phone deserves a solid Lineage build, it's going to fly so well on that.
My kernel is a mess right now, I was just in the process of adding back in the full spectrum of frequencies (just to see if I could do it). Device and vendor repos both are fat and ripe for pruning. I was going by the add everything in first, then fix each lib and shim on boot. Perhaps not the smartest method (definitely not).
Also ms330/k330 repos up there, which were almost booting CM-13 fully, just some small lib errors. Last I checked nobody had anything built for the LG M1 yet, which is also a damn shame! I was close before I fell into the hospital.
Anyway, kickass that y'all back on the job.

Aha!

Feel free to gank anything if you find it useful.
If you have any issues getting CM past that boot screen, I'd be willing to test and trawl the logs for solutions. I have *a lot* of experience in that specific situation, and love the diagnostics that come with it.
Once booting it'll be soo easy to get things running smooth.

.. Basically posting to say thinks... Are you flashing with the latest custom recovery or are you even more elete n able to flash with fastboot... I'm gladly reading that the Stylo 2 plus has one active dev and one dev offering refined input... Great to see. Do you think this will have adoptable storage enabled.... I'm on my ms550 as a daily driver but I have got root custom recovery n Xposed running with adoptable storage n all .... Pray this is the first official XDA ROM .... Thanks a million

Thanks for your hard work.
This appears to be a ms550 build as opposed to a k550 build. (metro v. tmobile).
Sympton: Wifi is unable to detect any hotspots and wifi will not actually turn on.
Can you provide instructions or any resources for replacing the radio/modem with the proper partitition from these files?
Is it nothing more than going into fastboot and flashing a modem partition or even simpler changing apns in the UI or in an sqlite database?
Thanks again.

Wifi is still broken on this build.
Where we with this project? It's been 2 months since the last comment. No rush, just eager to get to install the final build.

That thread was for lineage 13 and i stopped working on it many months ago after some beta builds that can be found in the recovery thread, atm lineage 14.1 is in developing.
So are you making a Lineage 14.1 rom that is compatible for the k550? And is the cyanogen rom complete for installations or is there any bugs? I really hate using lg's ui. P.S. I'm a newbie to this stuff
