Is there a link to this section of the board using tapatalk? I've searched everywhere and can't find this section other than using the Web browser.
There doesn't even seem to be a link in the browse section. I can see every variant of the original One but not the m8. help please?
When you sign into the XDA forum, click top left to bring up the forum menu, click on "browse" and the Verizon M8 forum is towards the very bottom.
Hope this helps

Anyone else notice that stickies don't show up? Kinda disappointing since we have that off topic thread now.

I've always used my browser. Never used the app but I'd recommend emailing dev. See if they can fix it. Sounds like a bug somewhere

Isn't it a radio button "sticky topics" when viewing a category?

Yeah....
Right at the top Once you are in one of the subforums there are 2 radio buttons. One is for Topics and the other is for Sticky Topics
Ha ha ha I'm a moron! Never even noticed those.

I have noticed that moderators are frustrated with questions posted in this section, and I thought I would share my take on why this is the case and a little suggestion.
I think one of the reasons why people don't go to the Q&A section is because of its very title "Q&A."
When we go anywhere to get help (AT&T, Apple, nVidia, etc), we are often first redirected to their Q&A page, which is often NOT helpful (we've all had this experience, right?). So, we've developed a habit or subconscious avoidance of Q&A, thinking that it is not where we can get "real" help but rather a page that contains information that is too basic.
Now, I am not saying our Q&A section is like that. However, the title Q&A is associated with this negative experience we've had, so that makes it less likely for us to go there if/when we want real help.
So, my suggestion is that we use a different title for that section. I don't know what would be a good title, but maybe we can brainstorm here to come up with a good name for it?

That actually makes a lot of sense when I think about it. Maybe just being called the "Help" section would be good.
Yea, I also noticed that the current Q&A section is not very well-organized. I mean, if you go there, the first page is filled with a bunch of stickies. That's not very user-friendly. It made me wanna just close out the page rather than reading down too many stickies.
Instead, they should create one sticky that holds lists/links to those stickies organized by topics.
+1. Something to consider.
I definitely agree the Help section is a better name.
I would call it support.

I agree with this. This would sum up the section perfectly

Ya that's my opinion too.
BTW, I changed that op and title on that other post, cuz after RE reading it, it sounded much more incendiary than I meant.

I apologize if this has already been posted; I searched and didn't see where anyone had posted it.

if you followed the SOURCE in that article, you would see it came from our very own dev section.....
Sorry, I didn't see that link in the article, and I did scroll thru the Dev section.
Perhaps the moderator can remove this thread.

Wow, that's really great new.
Seriously, though. The link to the article is useful in itself, if just to confirm that its being reported. Even if we knew it was inevitable the various smartphone "news" websites would notice eventually!

Does anyone know where I can find this now? After choosing to stop development on it, I guess Scott decided to completely remove the one x forum section from his site. I would ask about it in the thread but it's locked now.
My apologies if this kind of thing is frowned upon, but I really miss this rom. I tried Google and a couple searches here. I have no idea where else to look.

Anytime! The link kind of blends in to the site so I don't blame you for missing it at all.
