Google Now Launcher has been made available for all GPe devices.
But for the S4 even after running 4.4.2 it ain't avilable on the PlayStore.So follow the link to download it on your device !

I have runned the app my self on my s4 running 4.4.2 stock Touchwiz ...
And it ran wothout any error ... I'll be posting Screenshots within some time for your concern

actually u dont need to install it on your phone... i provided this file because he demanded for it
First install the actual launcher itself and then if it doesn't works u could give this file a shot...

Hey man, the same happen to me. I just reinstalled the apk and worked fine =)

When you use a third homescreen and restart many of the apps are scattered and others are missing. You have to drag them again.

google service keep awake my device and I have stopped the sync, GPS

I Think I find the reason, Google play service's System Upgdate Service keep awake my device, when i go setting> about phone to check update
force close at this time.......any solution?....
I flash the minimal GApps, is this the cause?

What ROM are you using, and what Google Play Services version do you have?

I'm on graviton with PA micro gapps ... Location off unless I'm actually navigating..... Never had any issues.
Tho.... I think with location off.... There is no issue. I could be wrong. But I haven't had it on any rom or gapps. Always with location off. And gnow off actually.

Check your build.prop. Since you're on 4.4.4, do you see this?

build.prop is in /system not /system/app

Okay, that means it isn't trying to download the OTA
If autostarts didny work you'll have to use a wakelock blocker, or a permission manager to block android.permission.WAKE_LOCK on Google Play Services

Pretty sure there are some that require root but not Xposed. Can't think of one off the top of my head

from what I know, Google photos is installed with google +. Have you tried to install Google + or upgrade what you already have installed?

I installed it, but cant use it as photos editor, so I need separated Google Photos app.

I can't fins the isolated app... Searching in play store, I find picasa tool... You would test it

I know in Moto E/G/X rom i s that app, but I dont have that phone, ane dont know anyone who have it..

I dont know how but I got that app installed -.-
Yesterday I've installed Google Plus and upload a photo, then use edit to check how edit photos. Today I cant believe my eyes that I have Google Photos
in my app draw ...
Maybe if U try to edit photo using Google+ app it will automatically install Photos app in phone... hmmm

About gapps, I never instaled 4.4.4 in 4.4.2 ROMs... You would teste it... And about cwm, witch modelo is your phone (like i9505, i9300..).. With model, is more easy find in cwm website

Google dialer app on EU s7 question

Hey all,
I just saw that now you can have the Google dialer side loaded and working on your s7 without root, and I did just that with the latest version on a EU s7, but it just gives me after installing : "app not installed" and I can close it only.
Any suggestions or advise how I can put the Google dialer app on my phone?

Works perfectly fine if you don't install it as a system app.
I've had it installed from the time it was available from the play store for a very short while.
I used package disabler to disable stock contacts app from samsung.
Rocking google dailer without root ever since. You can also just install the apk (if its not available on xda labs, use apkmirror?)

i have the same problem with contacts.. some contacts are shown with name others only number (like they weren't saved)..
i think it's something common with google dialer, but still i can't find any solution

No I have not disabled anything, just made those apps the main apps to be used when using dialer or contacts, do I have to disable anything?

Yes I did, and I am using it, I even installed it before the phone app.
I gave manually access to google phone, contacts, photos and calendar apps to all things they wanted, will see if that changes anything when ppl call

Sadly that did not work either, I'm open to suggestions honestly

Try disabling the samsung contacts app. Cause its working perfectly like that for me. Don't know what else is different.

Uncertified Device On A Custom ROM Fix

Hi guys!
Well. as you know the available ROMs are GSI, so in a certain way, they are not official for our device, The main problems are that ROM turns laggy and when you try to access to your Google Account it is shown an advertisement saying that our "device is not certified by Google" then it shows some links to "solve" the issue but the explanation given is not working, then I'm going to explain how to fix that.
This explanation works for all the ROMs available for Moto E5 that I've shared and it's working!!
Well, you have recently installed the rom, then you need to skip the whole setup and not getting access to Wi-fi, because you won't be able to skip the setup.
Install this app

Open it, and select: Google Service Framework (GSF), then copy that code
Now go to this page: https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter
Paste the Hex Value and convert into decimal, then copy the Decimal Value
Go to this page: http://g.co/AndroidDeviceRegistration.
Login into your Google Account and paste your Decimal Value
Finally install this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/udfsp2su5c5m6h8/GSM.apk?dl=0
Reboot you device, and it's done
Maybe your will need to wait like 5-10 minutes until your device is registered and then you can access to all Google Services
*NOTE: Netflix is available from Play Store even having root with Magisk*

No, if the gapps are already installed don't do that, if you install over already installed gapps, the apps will start to crash

Well, it's been a few weeks and so far so good, that certification message was driving me nuts and now I don't have that problem, nor apps crashing

the link works fine ..but i can't install at all the GSM.apk

It used to be said that XDA was Cyanogen. I guess that still applies.
