TWRP 2.2.2.1 for ZTE Warp and Samsung Prevail

I hope it is OK that I have posted this here, there is no ZTE Warp or Samsung Prevail section, if it is not OK, please remove

I have created a port of Team Win Recovery Project v.2.2.2.1 for the ZTE Warp
This zip can be flashed with Clockwork Mod or Stock Recovery
Restore of Data requires you have a ROM that has the JBrd400 Data fix in it, same as CWM, I have attached JBrd400_data_fix.zip that you can flash while you are in TWRP that replaces the ext4check.sh file and make it so you have the fix

There is a tar file you can flash with Odin or a zip file you can flash with Clockwork Mod
There is also a zip file that has Odin and the OPS file you need for the Prevail, you will need to install Samsung USB driver to your system to use Odin
If you are on a stock ROM and flash a custom recovery, it gets overwritten when you reboot, I have attached stick.zip that you will need to flash, while you are in TWRP, it will delete the scipt file that overwrites recovery

Works awesome man. I tried to build it myself and couldn't get the color issue plus a doubled screen fixed. Super happy you got it working. My test phone does not have volume or power buttons :beer:

it look me like 8 hours to get this thing to work right today, i have a fricken head ache now
and i still have to do some work for one of my clients

It didnt't have the plastic covers/ rocker that goes over the actual button on the circuit board. i would have to use a pen or combination of two pens to boot into cwm when off.

The zip I had in here would not flash with stock recovery, I have created a new one that does

I got it to flash and played with it for a bit I'm loving it thanks for your hard work

They can do such, but they better give some credit to Team Win and me in there OP
I really do not recommend flashing a recovery and a ROM at the same time, but that is just me

that is fine with me, but please also mention TeamWin, they are the ones who did all the hard work bringing TWRP to Android devices

This might take some effort to resolve. I would try to connect it to a PC with kies and restore it. Or boot to recovery and do a full wipe/restore. As a last resort you could do an Odin image load, but I think that will wipe the data too. Good luck. I had tried some other custom roms, and had a hard time restoring mine, but got it done. Hang in there for a more knowledgeable member.

Yes i accidentally install Chainfire3D.
my tab is not yet rooted and dont have a custom recovery.

Well, the best thing to do is restore using Kies, Just google "samsung kies" for download link.

It needs to be in download mode I believe. Turn it off, hold down the vol- button and restart, then hit the vol+ button when prompted, then plug into PC.
I had to work at getting a connection after trying unsuccessful ROM exploration. You may have to chose some emergency tools from the dropdown menu.

I'd flash the factory firmware from sammobile to the device via Odin, you can put the tab into download mode by holding power and vol down, just have the tab plugged in , look for a guide on how to flash the stock image to it, your device is fine, just needs to be odin flashed and it should be just fine

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 not working

I am using rooted samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P-3100
I have download some rom from goomanager & now my tab is now useless becoz when I am starting my tab getting msg that buildding apps & when it will start nothing is working. After 1 min tab is saying Touchwiz home dosent responding, when I am trying to reset my phone using clock word mode there is getting following msg

öhmmm.... you booted into Download Mode not into recovery you used the wrong button combination
Kies won´t detect your device because of your flashcounter: "CUSTOM BINERY DOWNLOAD-YES (1 COUNTS)"
Don´t use Odin if Kies is running in background! No other Samsung / Kies process running in background too!

There is root for the D838.... and I'm running this great rom now on my F350S. I will upload some video proof of this.

Does this fix the sd card issue? Need to wait till I get home tomorrow to test this rom

How did you brick it? I flashed this no issues. You just have to go slwo step by step. It will just be a softbrick, boot.img will be intact. Download mode: Remove the battery or power of the phone. Hold volume up while inserting your USB cable that is connected to your PC.

Thanks Hendrickson, I think either I forgot to copy the system folder or I put the img in a different folder. Once I am done with the get my phone up and running I will update you guys.

:good: Good to hear, unless you had no download mode. All G pro 2's can be recovered with that method. Even if you had the partitions all messed up.

*** This MOD is used for CN Mod V2 only ***
Unzip all the 7z and you will get below folders.
Connect the G Pro 2 with USB debug mode on, open the folder (A-I) and
execute .bat file, and your G Pro 2 will reboot after done.
You can also preview the battery icon first by opening the png file.
You can flash back to original style by flashing "原版电量".

Make sure you have a charged battery (75% minimum)
Installation procedure:
Turn off your phone.
Simultaneously press the buttons: Volume Down + Home + Power. Then press again the power button to start the Download mode.
On your computer, launch Odin in administrator mode.
Connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable. In ODIN, box ID: COM turns blue proof that your phone is correctly detected.

Today I will show you how to do the next few processes you are going to do today :highfive:
Now I am sure that some of you are stuck and need help and that kinda stuff on how to:
1.Root (this is the easiest step here )
2.install recovery (DISCLAIMER,THIS WILL TRIP KNOX)
3.Install CM11 or any ROM of choice
And all without a PC :good: .
Step 1:
You want to go to: https://towelroot.com,now click the lambada (big orange a)
It will download a apk called tr.apk, now install (DONT USE GOOGLE PLAY APP VERIFY)
Step 2: once installed you shall see this:

Download Rashr once your device is rooted! Here is a link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=en
Now click the tab that says recovery and if I were you touch philz or TWRP recovery. NOW THIS WILL TRIP KNOX,if it says success you are a-Ok :good:.
Part 4 (FINAL)
Now you wanna download a rom, if your note 3 is international LTE then download cm from here:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=hlte
Now find some Gapps (Google apps)
Here is a link for any note 3: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567713451 (click begin download and wait a few secs)
Now you wanna flash the ROM you just downloaded? Yes? Okay? Good!
Now reboot into recovery using rashr and click reboot into recovery.
Now do this:
1. Touch wipe data and reset
2.once done click install zip then choose your ROM from interna
Or external SDcard.
4.click okay
5.then find your gapps (Google Apps)
Do the same as before
6.now go back to root menu
And then click reboot system now!
Your ROM should now boot! I hope your enjoy your new touchwizz free experience!

You can find out what note 3 you have in settings/about-phone
All recovery in rasher work with stock

I think root works with exynos but the recovery app will find you a recovery for you. There is no (official) CM for exynos.

as i know Towelroot doesnt work on exynos SM-N900, anyone can confirm that its working?

Towelroot not working on last release Rom NF4. Confirmed. (9005 though)

I just have to thank myself for fixing my problem. NOOB-mistake by myself.
I know this might be the wrong place for this but I have tried to find the proper place to post (perhaps my english sucks)

I have rooted my phone using Odin3 v3.09 and CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5, and Root is OK.
Then I tried philz_touch_6.19.3-hlte and samsung-galaxy-note-3-smn900-twrp-odin, but I can't go into recovery mode.
Reebot Loop: Get this message:
Recovery Boot (Blue)
Set warranty bit: Recovery (yellow)
It must been something I've done wrong, but I can't find a solution. Read different guides, "how to" etc.....
Any help will be appreciated

To boot into recovery=
you have to hold down the- (vol up + home button + power button) then when Samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 logo shows up take your finger off the power button.

Got everything working except the recovery. After using rashr I got stuck on "recovery is not seandroid enforcing note 3".

Thx, but the only thing that got my out of "recovery boot loop" was going into downlaod mode and install a different recovery fil (n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.7-kk(0125))
going to try x-note now if I can download the file.........tried several times but cant download the damn file.
