[Q] Bootloop + Error mounting /sdcard/ - HTC One S

Hello!
Silmply tooday i wanted to change my firmware to new Viper. I had old version of Viper 2.x.x ofc for S4 devices
After flashing my phone is bootlooping...
I can go into HBOOT (ver. 1.14.002) but only for 2-3 seconds after that phone is booting again.
Alsow i can get into CW Recovery (v5.8.1.5) but i cant see sdcard...
I have try to find solution but cant even read device info from "fastboot devices" to find RUU - im trying to get it when phone is in CW Recovery mode. CW Recovery is only one method to get still connected do PC when i have bootloop?
Only adb works...
My friends im beggin for help...:crying:
Phone is S-off and hopefully not bricked....
P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
I have manage to enter HBOOT and run fastboot.exe
Alsow i could flash twrp 2.6.3.0 but still dont have scdard...

Second post of this entire board?

The problem is solved.
I had to download RR and get back to fabrick rom. After that i had to unlock HROOT and flash new TWPR. In the end tried again Venom and this time everything was fine.

[Q] stuck hat green HTC logo

Hello guys,
i have a problem. I think i did somethink realy stupied and "broke" my sensation
it all started when i was stupid enough to flash
Firmware from 3.12.401.2/102 RUU from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1412618
when i rebootet the problem startet. when i boot the Sensation gets stuck at the green HTC logo at boot.
i can access the andoird menu via Volume down + Power
i managed to install the bootloader 1.17.2008 form here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20681060&postcount=22
i have super-CID
i have the fasboot commands
i used to have the CWD recovery mode. now when i hit RECOVERY in the android menu i can't get into CWDs menu.
i get a screen with a phone and a red triangle and the phone doesn't do anthink.
i use the Hypersensation as ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1302969
does anyone have a clue how i ca fix it so that i can boot again.
i have a NAND Backup on my SD card and on my computer.
EDIT: I managed to get CWM working again by flashing the CWM files again via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242942
than i coulld restore my old NAND Backup
You rewrote the recovery partition too, when flashing the RUU.
If you are already on 1.17, then download a CWM and
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
and hopefully after the next reboot you will be able to get in to recovery from bootloader
EDIT: oh, I see you already managed to get a CWM on , glad it worked out

Bricked HTC One S Bootloop into Clockwork Recovery. Cant go into hboot or anything.

So I rooted my phone and installed Clockwork Recovery. I tried installing a new rom and ended up bricked into it, the phone wouldn't boot in and would get stuck on the boot animation. So i tried re-locking the boot loader and flashing back to ruuu, it would not work and give me error messages. I tried to fast boot recovery but that failed to. Also in clockwork recovery my sd card can't be mounted. I tried a few other things and now my phone is stuck in clockwork recovery. I can't go back into hboot and cant booth the phone either. Every time I power it off then back on it goes back into clockwork and I cant do anything there since it cant mount the sd card. Please help.

[Q] Odd CWM bootloop

Hey guys, I installed CWM on my buddies HTC one S (ville) and I keep getting a weird problem with CWM. I have successfully flashed CM10 multiple times and have made only one back up. Every time his phone dies and he plugs it in and tries to power it on it boots straight to recovery and after you press reboot phone it boots right back to recovery again and again... The only way it fixes itself is when you restore the back up and then it sets him back to that date. I'm wondering if this is a problem with CWM or something else... I'm new to HTC devices because I have always been on the Galaxy line from Samsung so some of this is a little new to me...
Thanks in advance!!
This is a known glitch with CWM. If you plug it in when its off and try to turn it on, it'll automatically Boot into CWM Recovery. I prefer TWRP personally, had too many problems with CWM and getting into the same exact pain-in-the-neck Bootloop as you're referring to.
As far as I am aware, there isn't a way to get out of the CWM Bootloop unless you just let the phone run out of Battery, get into the Bootloader (Which is somewhat of a challenge with the CWM Bootloop), and then flash a different Recovery from Fastboot. Correct me if i'm wrong on there not being any other way around this.
It's happened to me once, I flashed the.stock boot.img and it worked fine.after that. Not sure if its a fix but it got me outta of it.

Thanks guys I think I'll try TWRP but just to check does CM10 work with TWRP and if so how do I flash a new recovery?
yes cm10 worx with twrp. For flashing recovery, download d appropriate recovery.img for ur device. place this in the fastboot folder or the platform-tools folder.
now, boot into bootloader and enter fastboot then connect phone to PC , it should say fastboot USB .
Now open a command window and use this command---
fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img.

Cyanogenmod 10 does indeed work with TWRP as far as I know. Along with mihirengg19's Reply above, there is also an Alternative way to flashing a new Recovery, and that is to use the HTC One S All-In-One Toolkit. Its the easiest/safest way, if you don't know what you're doing.
yes toolkit is great but manually is best...

Completely bricked - Please help

Hi,
Im sitting in front of my one s for about 5 hours now and i am completely wasted.
I wanted to set it back to stock rom but it seems like i fu**** eveything up.
I had the maximus hd 10 rom installed recently, but my problem is the following:
1.if i connect the phone to my computer (win7) via recovery, there is only a partitionwhich is about 50mb big. (so not enough for any rom)
2. it doesnt matter which recovery i flash via fastboot, it does not replace TWRP (if i installed a normal cwm, it says "succesfull" but i am only able to boot into an other recovery 1 time! after that it automatically boots into TWRP - It is like i have 2 recoveries installed.
3. adb sideload doesnt work too
4. then i tried going back to stock rom but i get the error 158 from the ruu. (i tried fastboot oem lock, but it didnt work)
i hope someone can help me, sorry for my english!

Hi it seems like you sd card isn't mounted. To fix this you have to go back to stock recovery. Here is the original thread (go to post #8 for the solution).

[Q] Can´t get any rom to boot

Hello
I´m going crazy here.. So I wanted to try Android 5 and long story short my phone is without a rom and apparently won´t install one.
I got the "sdcard wont mount" error but got that fixed by flashing stock recovery and reflash TWRP 2.8.4.0.
But now I cant get any rom to boot. It seem to install just fine but then ether stops at the "white" screen or at the black that comes after.
I tried "Candy5" with "gapps nano" and all seems fine but it wont boot up. Then I tried a CM10.2.0 witch is 4.4.3 but I cant get gapps to install on that one.
Info:
HTC One S s4
Old rom that I had before = Unknown Blackbean version
Hboot = 2.15
Radio = 1.11.50.05.28
Might be because I don´t know how it works but I cant get ADB Sideload to work ether.
Says "Starting ADB sideload feature. . ." in console. And then adb can´t find the device when i run a "adb devices" command.
Hope someone can help me
Edit:
Found a RUU that worked So the phone should not be completely broken.
So I unlocked the bootloader again and flashed the latest TWRP. Things still work at this point!
Then I tried the CM11 rom again and it´s still the same.. White HTC screen (whitout the red text for some reason) then the screen goes black and nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong when I install the roms? Did it the same way with my old Galaxy s plus yesterday and it worked first try. From 2.x straight to 5.0.2.
How I´m doing it:
Wipe - Data, Cache and Dalvik
Install rom
Reboot phone
Edit 2:
Restored the backup I did after I got the phone running with the RUU. And that also worked as i should.
So why can´t i get any custom rom to work :crying:
Edit3:
I somehow got it to work and is now running LiquidSmooth on 5.0.2
This thread can be locked or deleted now I think.
I have the same probable but I can't even get RUU to work.
Do you have T Mobile phone? Where did you download RUU from?
No I´m not on T-mobile.
I got the RUU from:
androidruu.com/?developer=Ville

I'm in the same boat, I got my recovery to work fine but I can not get any roms to install. I can not find a ruu, my software ver is 3.16.661.5 Telus. I have tried about 4 diff roms. I get stuck on the white HTC screen. boot is unlock but s is on, can not turn it off because adb debug is not on. have no os to load in to, so I can get adb
1st edit
looked around abit if you flash the boot img your rom will load if you have s on.

I had to relock and flash stock recovery in order to get RUU to work. Now my phone is at least working but I still cant flash any roms. I also used rumrunner to get s-off
If you're S-On, have you separately flashed the boot.img via fastboot?
