Don't panic my friend... It often happens...
Just download an older version like 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 and flash it in your moto x and then update using official software... Problem will be solved...

Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition 3G Wi-Fi (MZ608) Crashed after update.

Today i received an update from Motorola for my Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition 3G Wi-Fi (MZ608).
After the installation my tablet that was running properly stopped to work and now it´s not loading the operating system.
There is someone here that can help me with this issue ?
Where I can find an official rom for this device to reinstall it again ? I´ve tried to find something on Motodev (developer.motorola.com/products/software) but no success...
There is a stable ICS version for this device ?
Thanks a lot.
Here is the solution

If you live in Europe, then its normal. Europe gets the updates after america (and i hate that because i love updates). There was an issue with 4.4.3 software so they canceled the europe rollout. We will have to wait for america getting 4.4.4

4.4.3 wont roll out because it has issues, but 4.4.4 will fix that and will also roll out to india
Indian users will get the update even quicker than the Europeans. And it'll be 4.4.4 straight rather than getting the 4.4.3 and then 4.4.4.

[Q] any words on 4.4.4 ???

Only Motorola knows at this stage. I doubt that they would leave different versions of the Moto G on different Android versions. Only time will tell.

It might depend on where you are. I got notifications that 4.4.4 was ready for my XT1045. I got help turning those notifications off. I am in the US so it could be regional.
today we got the official release finally !
now it's the wait for lollipop 5

[Q] lollipop upgrade on the xt1033

i have the original moto g (xt1033) which is the dual sim variant.
but i have the xt1032 gpe image installed on it.
someone told me when the OTA comes out for lollipop and when i update my phone. the update might brick it. is there any chance of that happening?
Well your phone thinks that it's the xt1032, I wouldn't take the chance of flashing the XT1032 bootloader and bricking it. I'm in the same position as you right now, what I'm going to do is wait for the lollipop update to become a flashable .zip so i don't need to run OTA and flash the new bootloader which would make downgrading and unbricking impossible until it releases on XT1033... whereas a zip flashed in recovery would be pain-free and safe if you're already converted to xt1032, you know that atleast, I'm hoping, cause all single sim roms ontop of converted GPE xt1033 run the sim fine, but the OTA including bootloader is the bad part.
tl;dr: DONT install the OTA update, wait for a flashable zip and flash it over your converted setup or you risk bricking from new bootloader

Actually, being rooted can make the installation seem fine, when really it isn't.

Got an update for the Motorola Update-services app in the Play Store today.
It says in the release notes it is in preparation of the Lollipop update.
Hopefully it will also become available for the dual sim Moto G.
When I do the update check it still says my software is up-to-date..
