[ROM][4.0.4][GT-S7562] Can't flash baseband - Samsung Galaxy S Duos

I want to install PMP Ultra ROM on my phone, and in order to do that I need to change my phone baseband. Problem is that I can't flash a different baseband on it.
I downloaded some of the compatible stock ROMs from sammobile and tried them, but no matter what the baseband doesn't change, even though the build number and AP do change.
I'm flashing the stock ROM by doing this:
1-Turn off phone
2-Open Odin 3.07 and select the ROM (the .md5 file) on PDA.
3-Turn the phone on download mode by holding the Vol down+Home+Power buttons.
4-Attach the phone to the USB and let Odin recognize it.
5-Press start and let Odin do its thing.
I've already tried to flash the baseband separately by following this thread, but it also didn't work. I got an error message on my phone "secure check fail: ID 0xc" right before it reboots to complete the flashing. Odin gave me no error as if everything had worked.
My baseband is S7562ZCMB1 (is also the CP), my AP is S7562XXBMJ1, CSC is unknown (phone is rooted) and my build number is IMM76I.S7562XXBMJ1
I've also tried flashing the custom ROM with my baseband but, as expected, I had no network and had to go back to the stock ROM.
Please, help me! From the few minutes I tried PMP Ultra ROM I found it amazing, I just can't bear this sluggish phone anymore.

try holding power and vol+ for at least 10 seconds, and keep holding it. or try power and volume down for 10+ seconds.
should attempt to get you into recovery or download mode.

i can go to the recovery mode and download mode..i already flash my tab in download mode and wipe data in recovery mode.but the problem still there
so what should i do?
see if you can get an adb log, you could also try Samsung Kies (2.0) It may have trouble finding device/ installing drivers; you might want to connect it in download mode. There are emergency recovery options in Kies I think, but its probably same thing as Odin. Are you sure that is the correct firmware for your device? are you familiar with Odin? possible bad flash/disconnected?/bad cable?
i recommend try flashing whatever firmware you originally had. a full stock one with .pit file would be ideal.
try sammobile.com/firmwares

Try this instructions carefully. It works for any samsung phones:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27043121&postcount=9
but in step 3, when it says if you weren't in GB, don't worry about it. What it is, if you change version of android (i.e. from Honeycomb to ICS and vice versa), than you need to include pitfile and repartition, as well as flashing dbdata.rfs.
Thanks buddy
I will try as u suggested
and will come back soon after flashing
thanks
still same problem please help
i tried flashing as u suggested and successfully compleated but still restarting only 1 thing improved that is now am able to switch off my tab
please guys help me dnt wanna loose my tab
and 1 more thing in odeen, where i can put dbdata file
please help
You can flash dbdata on pda field as well. Make sure you use the correct file. Before you proceed with it, can you go to recovery mode and do factory wipe? Let me know if you got any mounting error message or not after wipe.
Nore: if you need a pitfile, you can download this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/misc.php?do=showattachments&t=1441350
Any solution yet? My device suddenly acting the same way when I doing Factory Reset in cmw recovery. I've try doing reflashing via odin to xxkl7 and dxkl3 with no lock, im still stuck bootlooping on first splash screen.
Something I found is that if Im flashing the rom using heimdall, it always failed on flashing the cache, with a message saying that heimdall being crash. Any advice?
continue holding vol up and power through 2 reboots, you should get recovery mode.
My device also experiences similar symptoms when formating /data. Perhaps the file system is corrupt or mild superbrickbug.
Anyways what I usually do Is Odin back to stock, when it passes it hangs at boot, reboot to recovery and factory reset/ wipe data. Should boot now.
For /cache issue. try the first step I mentioned to get into recovery and wipe /cache, actually format it too, if you have CWM Recovery. Wipe dalvik and factory reset too. Then I would try Odin to stock. And again wipe /data if stock Odin doesnt boot.
good luck.

cannot flash anything in odin verizon gs3

It been over a week now and I am starting to get concerned. I've tried everything. Different cable.re download Roms. Odin. Factory reset. Everytime I flash in Odin I get to nand write. Then failure. I don't have my pc right now to post pictures. Any advice? I'm coming from a fascinate, which I have flashed at least 30 times with Odin or heimdall. I've never had this many problems getting a tar or M.D.5 file to flash. The only thing I havn't done is set my phone back to cdma/evdo/ lte in phone info. I turn off 4g to save battery.
Has anyone else encountered write failures while trying to flash their gs3?
I think you're running into the locked bootloader issue. Check this thread out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28402810
On the OP there is a script taken from odin if yours matches its because of the bootloader. Take a look around the dev section for the Verizon model.
What exactly are you trying to flash, and how are you doing it?
I didn't have any problem at all flashing the root66 rooted-stock from the forums. Are you selecting the file for "PDA" (not phone)??
Yes, as Nightwind Hawk said, you should only be using the PDA button while flashing in Odin, as i believe this flashes the system file, one part that is not digitally signed.
i'm trying to flash the root66 image. I am fairly certain this has nothing to do with the locked boot-loader. As mentioned, I am coming from a fascinate which I have flashed MANY times. I know how to flash a samsung phone in odin. Lots of other guys have flashed that tar file over a stock vzw gs3 with no issues. I cannot even flash the stock rom that is in the verizon developer section. here is what happens.
Boot to download mode
fire up odin, phone makes connection
put stock.vzw_root66.tar into pda
start
error message
soft brick
reboot
get error message that firmware is corrupt and to connect to KIES for emergency recovery
connect phone to odin
flash stock kernel.tar
phone will work again
here is an associated thread with the error i get, however i have already tried re-downloading everything, tried every USB port on the machine, and re-installed drivers

Resolution: Somehow the version of ODIN 3.07 i had was the issue. It would appear to run properly and would never return corrupt file messages. I re-downloaded odin from samsung developer site, and the root66 flashed no problem..

[Q] Unable to Odin Tmobile Galaxy S5 to latest NE6

Hello everyone thanks in advance for any help.
I have tried several times using Odin 3.07 and 3.09 to flash NE6 Firmware only even NE6 Full Stock Tar that i got from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761412 but it will not stick. Device info still shows NCH modem and boot loader. I have tried odin with modem only but it will not stick. I dont get any errors. Again thanks in advance. If you need any info let me know.
Here is a screenshot of my device info after odin flashing modern only, firmware only even full stock ne6.
Ok if anyone is having this issue I used odin 3.04 I shutdown the phone
took off and re inserted battery
powered on in download mode holding power down and home
Unchecked reboot in odin
Flashed firmware
Removed and reinserted battery when completed
Powered on download mode again
Flashed modem only and rebooted.
Here is a screenshot of my info

tried to install a 6.0.1 rom and ****ed up my phone so bad.

downloaded twrp 3, was running 5.1.1 on my phone and rooted it. tried to flash a rom and got stuck in a bootloop, now I cant boot into twrp, or anything for that matter. All i can do is hold volume down and power and home and try to ODIN a new bootloader or such and it just fails. what do i do? but when I try to boot into TWRP it goes into a blueish screen with a White exclamation mark saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software. I tried to do that but it didnt even recognize the device. At this point i dont care about the data, I just need a working device
Okay, so I attempted to unroot and flash the stock 5.0.2 software and I got a error on the download screen. It says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3. BINARY: 1.
If you have no knox install MM official then flash this kernel tar file (AP) https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B40ItdHKfkyQcTA5bnRPWDg0X28&usp=drive_web#list it will boot to mm 5min :good:
Btw you cann downgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 you just go up not down

Happened to me a lot of times in the past few days trying to get MM, for some weird reason flashing Unikernel always works for me (takes me to recovery screen after, then i select 'reboot now'), and all my data, apps etc are still there

will try and update. thank you. didnt work.
Okay guys so now I need a ROM to flash using ODIN. I tried to download from sammobile but the speeds are too damn slow. What I tried to flash was this file " G920TUVU1AOCG_G920TTMB1AOCG_G920TUVU1AOCG_HOME.tar.md5 " and i got the error 3 to 1.
Download Samfirm from here, XDA itself.
Run samfirm, enter model as G920F and your region code.
It will download from Samsung servers, so high speed.
Now flash using Odin the downloaded file by putting the phone in download mode, (vol down+home+power on).
How did it happen?
Did you try to flash the VOD 6.0.1 and got stuck towards the end at hidden.IMG failing the process?
If yes, then its a two minute job. Just open the 6.0.1 tar archive and look for hidden.IMG extract it anywhere and rename it from "hidden.img" to "hidden.img.tar".
Note flash this hidden.img.tar as AP in download mode, your phone should boot.

Kernel is not Seandroid Enforcing

Hello, I just woke up from a few hour nap and normally when I wake up I like to check my phone for notifs and what not... But, this time... I notice something different. I am presented with a screen what says
"Bootloader Exception"
Then lower down says "do_hander_sync: UNKNOWN(esr: 0x2000000)
I've tried booting into bootloader and recovery, I can get into recovery and I tried to factory reset / date wipe cache. without any luck. I can't reflash the stock rom (I was using the stock rom anyway, NO ROOT) because I can't access the kernel. Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to get a replacement some how?
Did you try flashing stock Rom in download (POWER+VOL DOWN+HOME) mode with odin? Can you get into your phone to turn on developer options to enable oem unlock (exynos model) and USB debugging? When does this error occur? If kernel is not seandroid enforcing the it sounds like a corrupt file and leads me to believe you had been rooted before or had a custom recovery and flashed a .zip or altered something. More info would be great but try what I wrote in this article first by going to Sammobile and grabbing the newest correct firmware for your device model and flashing it with odin in download mode Should fix this issue and give u a fresh start. Be sure to install Samsung drivers first before proceeding with this option. Hope this helps! If not provide us with all the info you can get. Also make sure you flash with the stock (origional) Samsung USB cable.
Cheers!

Model No: SM-G930W8
Provider: Telus
Happens during normal boot (Can get into recovery menu)
I didn't try flashing or rooting the phone all (Sounds weird, but all I can ask is you people to believe me )
Trying to get stock firmware.
Sorry for the super late reply, I've tried to get the stock firmware for the phone but it corrupts the download everytime (here)... Sent it away to be repaired and was told it's $325 to fix it I said send it back broken.
ahh, I've had to fix this problem countless times on different phones.
All you have to do is go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and download the official stock firmware for your phone and model then flash it using Odin.
If you do not know how to flash phones using Odin there are plenty of tutorials online that will show you how just have a look on YouTube ect
